A fantastic pub, comfortable and cosy seating, a good atmosphere. The managers/staff are friendly and very helpful. We held a wake here, and the spread (which was very reasonably priced) was wonderful. Prices of drinks are also very good.

Wow what a friendly welcome from staff and locals. We were a party of 5 and ordered different main meals. The dining area was beautifully presented and the meals were lovely and very filling. The staff were very attentive and helpful. Could not praise the staff and pub enough. Will be happy to revisit anytime!

The place was dead, and the eating area was shoved in the back room. The tables were dirty and dusty. It felt more like a storage room. The food was basically ready meals with oven chips and tasted bland. The vegetables on the side were even steam fresh bags. Drinks were okay, at an average price. The food definitely needs to be stepped up though, when I can buy the same meal for a pound in Iceland, there is something wrong.

22 of use went for a lunch time meal. It had been pretty booked and the meals chosen. It was a cold day and the open fire couldn't be lit because the kitchen extractors draw the smoke into the room. Other than that there were no complaints.

Go here every Thursday for a friendly game of poker. Landlord and Landlady friendly. Service arrange of beers & lathers. The food is great & if you like pizzas it's a must

Went with some friends to one of the pubs themed menu nights. The theme was Mexican. The portions were immense, the service was fantastic and the food was amazing. There were several dishes to try, starters, mains and pudding. Levi and Jess had clearly given the menu a lot of thought and it didn’t disappoint. We would definitely recommend. Looking forward to another meal there.

Popped in after a holiday in Louth we popped in for Lunch and we was the New Guinea pigs for the new menu what can I say it was absolutely beautiful with friendly staff and customers I highly recommend this place

Highly recommended. Called in off the cuff with family and wow, what a little gem of a pub. The food was fabulous, the welcome and service excellent. The Malteaser cheesecake was absolutely amazing. Our dogs were also made a big fuss over and very welcome too. Will definitely revisit.

We stopped here for lunch with family after a holiday in Louth and what can I say hospitality fortless and food was amazing and most definitely value for money highly recommend this place and would most definitely visit again

Beautifully presented pub from the outside, when indoors, not disappointed in the slightest, very warm welcome, tasty Bateman's Ale all served in a very covid secure manner. Priced really well also at £3.10 for a pint of XB. Food also looked good, especially the pie I saw go past me on the way to another table and looked homemade. Certainly worth a visit, I doubt you will be disappointed

Really nice staff and good beer

After long walk called in for a drink. The landlady was very welcoming and we spent a lovely late afternoon here. The pub is also dog friendly so we didn't have to sit outside. The drinks were good and the locals friendly. We stayed a lot longer than planned chatting and drinking and are pooch was well looked after too. A great find!

A very nice place to go and have a meal and pint or two. Trish and Darren are both very lovely and welcoming people and I always enjoy my time there.

We came to this pub after a recommendation from a friend. Wish we hadn't bothered. The food was very poor quality.garden peas out of a tin, flabby gammon steak and very cheap burgers with plastic cheese slice. . The entrance hall was next to the gents.. and it smelled bad. We will definitely not be returning.

After walking our three dogs at Freiston Shore, we popped in here, having already researched and contacted the Five Bells about stopping for lunch. The welcome was warm, from the dog loving landlady and we enjoyed a simple, tasty and freshly prepared lunch - paninis. It is hard to find dog friendly venues in Lincolnshire, so this is a must.

Again let down by the fact that arrived for a meal and told not cooking, why advertise food daily on website and advertise on board outside the pub only to find once you have ordered your drink get told not cooking as chef on their own. Not sure how many people it takes to cook scampi and chips. I suppose pub just wants to cater for few local drinkers rather than draw any new business from surrounding areas which is a shame. You can understand why many pubs keep closing and why some do so well. Very dissapointing best call to see if cook is working before you travel out. Sorry folks but really not good enough do as you advertise of don't do at all.

New owners are very easy going (as was tony the old landlord) willing to accommodate groups of friends, I have been in for regular games of pool, the juke box is up to date and also goes back decades, the best thing is the owners have no issue cranking it right up for us whenever we ask, always feel welcome.

Es un pub encantador ... el ambiente es muy agradable y acogedor, la comida muy buena. Comimos bistec y budín de riñón, la abundante era abundante y sabroso, había piezas de carne y el riñón (muchas veces con carne y riñón juegas cazar el riñón. La pastelería mobilier era luz y sabrosa, patatas fritas adecuadas completó un delicioso y muy abundante comida de pub.
