First time eating at this place and we both had a lovely Sunday roast. Having been shown our seats we were a little apprehensive as the room looked quite bland. This however didn’t distract from a good service provided and a lovely Sunday roast. For the quality of food the prices are extremely reasonable. We will return

I ordered on just eat, waited over a hour for our food, for them too send a message 30 minutes after it was supposed too come too say our order has been cancelled, no warning or anything, wouldn’t recommend!

Absolutely amazing! Abit confusing that the sign is still that of the old owners ‘Boston Spice’ but the food was unreal. So reasonably priced as well with a 3 course meal each for both of us and alcoholic drinks, all priced just over £50. Customer service was also top notch. If we weren’t just visiting Boston for a mini break for a few days this restaurant would definitely be a regular! Nothing bad to say whatsoever. 100% worth a visit.

Nice cafe, helpful and polite staff with nice cakes, tea cakes etc on offer with a cup of tea or coffee.

A big thank you. Arriving just on 2 o ' clock as breakfast service ended you were kind enough to serve myself and my son and grandson three excellent breakfasts. Staff were very friendly and attentive. I would definitely recommend it if you are passing. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Will make sure to arrive earlier next time,but once again thank you for accommodating us.

Great little store, with some beautiful coffee & cakes! Has two little table & chairs on the high street which was welcome after a busy morning at Pride!

⭐☆☆☆☆ (1/5 stars) - Cake, Lies, and Business Spies” Walked in for cake, walked out with a betrayal so big it should come with its own Netflix series. I came here as a paying customer with my family, thinking I was supporting a local business. What did I get in return? These sugar-coated con artists trying to get their hands on my shop lease. I told them, No, not for sale,” like any sane person would. So what do they do? They slither off to my landlord behind my back, trying to push me out like yesterday’s stale pastries. And it gets better! They offered me money for all the furnishings I left behind—including a brand-new radiator system, custom storage cubbies I had made, and a brand-new wooden floor I installed. The deal? They were supposed to pay me. The reality? I got NOTHING. Not a penny. Zilch. Nada. Meanwhile, they got to keep everything I spent over £20,000 on. Now let’s talk about the cakes: • So sweet, I could feel my teeth writing their resignation letters. • So overpriced, I had to check if I was actually buying shares in the bakery. • So “meh,” I wouldn’t even trade them for the money they owe me. Would I recommend this place? Only if you enjoy overpriced sugar with a side of deception. Otherwise, take your money—and your trust—somewhere else. P.S. If they tell you they’ll pay you for something, get it in writing. Preferably in blood.

What a great motorhome stopover nothing to much, next morning me and my wife had the breakfast wow amazing and dog friendly would definitely use again when passing and thank you for being so friendly Amanda Mariola Jack Dan and all other staff kind regards Kenny and Carolyn.

Used to go Midwest regularly, then past few times had issues with the food. Either soggy chips or a burned bun etc. Went the other day and the chips were great like they always were but unfortunately the burger meat is now just cheap horrible brown/beige meat which tastes awful and you can tell the meat is bad quality. Its like the awful cheap burgers you get given on a fry up from some cheap cafe. Really disappointing for the price which has also gone up since I've last had a Midwest. Never like to leave bad reviews but hopefully the owners see this and change their meat supply. No one wants crap cheap meat in their burger and both me and my friend could not finish our burgers due to the taste and texture of the cheap meat. When I used to go to Midwest years ago it was never this horrible meat. Please use good quality meat for your burgers and I shall return as I know you guys have been on welli road for so long and I don't want to see you go. But I have no interest in consuming bad quality meat. Also the bun is just standard white bread bun and the cheese is the plastic american cheese. All feels a bit low quality. Maybe use nice fresh cheese and some better bread. Sorry for the bad review and I hope this helps your business because all my friends no longer go to Midwest because they feel the same. We all used to go to mid West since we were young. But not anymore until things change. Especially when you have you want beef down the road for similar price. They use fresh ground meat and smash it into burgers lovely and fresh.

The food was well cooked and very tasty, and the service, although a bit slow was fine. However, our visit was spoiled by having to perch on stools at our table, although arriving at 1215. It seems that locals get first choice of seating so beware if you have back problems..
