No.23 in Rutland

We live in Uppingham and regularly visit no23 as everything is consistently good. It has the feel of a place more like you would visit in a city . Menu regularly changes and the food is delicious. All the staff are friendly, attentive and very kind to our two year old. Would recommend.

What a delight - people lovely , atmosphere wonderful and food and wine ( and cocktails 🍸) delicious. We were a late booking so sat at the beautiful marble topped bar. This was perfect and we were so well looked after. It was like finding the best London West End wine bar / restaurant in the middle of Uppingham High Street. We will be back and also must recommend another part of the group The Nevill Arms in Medbourne 🤗🤗🤗🤗

The restaurant is lovely inside. A sort of modern/traditional mix. There is a long bar with bar stools where you can sit and have drinks and tapas if wanted. the service was excellent and the food very good - special enough to be a treat without being a pretentious cube and a smear !! we had a couple of tapas to share to start and the leeks in tempura batter were delicious. The olives were amazing. My starter of battered squid and main of slow roast beef were both very good. Everyone enjoyed their food. Well presented but a decent helping.

I went to No 23 after the civil partnership of my brother and his girlfriend and close friends. The restaurant is wonderfully laid out and the decor open and modern. The food was excellent (all our party agreed) and we were pleasantly surprised at the price of such qualityl dishes. The staff were superb. Professional, efficient, friendly and welcoming (always a plus point in my book).

Lovely family meal in their private room, great service, food excellent. All the staff are welcoming and friendly especially Evie and our waiter Patrick. We all had a great time.

What a delightful experience Beautiful restaurant, excellent friendly service, and we had the stone bass which was gorgeous, expertly seasoned, cooked and presented. It was far superior to a Michelin establishment we tried the following evening in Oakham. We'll done Uppingham. Enjoy!

Visited with my cousins for a late lunch locally. The ambience is perfect and the decor subtle and not distracting. The menu choice is maybe 8 starts and 8 mains and 4 deserts. I would have happily ordered everything, but opted for scallops to start and seafood paella for a main. Both courses were delicious and well presented snd good portion sizes. Delicious with a timely and friendly service.

First visit to No.23 and I had such a lovely evening. I was recommended cocktails based on flavours I liked, and when I informed the team that I was Vegan I was told they could adapt the dishes to suit. I went for the Red Pepper Fettuccini (from recommendation) and it was delicious. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, and being seated at the window table made it even better. After such a lovely evening I can’t wait to return for more.

This is a very pleasant restaurant for a very relaxed meal. We along with another couple had great time on a Wednesday night. Very relaxed atmosphere, the food was good. The Manager/ Owner was very knowledgeable about the local area and gave us some ideas for our travel around Rutland water. The food was good and there were good choice. We would visit again if we ever returned to Uppingham

This fairly new restaurant seems to be gaining an excellent reputation, which is well deserved. Interesting, appetising, well presented food. Friendly and helpful staff. Good atmosphere. Prices competitive.

Excellent food and service in a cracking establishment, even the loo was spotless. Well done a great standard at a fair price. I can't fault it.

Enjoyed a great meal for our first visit to this new(ish) restaurant in Uppingham. The ambiance was lovely and the staff were great- very welcoming and helpful. But the food was the star of the show. I had a delicious burrata starter followed by an exceptional salad nicoise. Others enjoyed the brill and the lamb which they would highly recommend. We will definitely be back! Many thanks
