Pig and Waffle in Kettering

This was our first visit & it didn’t disappoint. The Tapas Menu was varied & the dishes were well presented. Quality of the food was faultless & the staff were both knowledgeable about the menu & very polite. My only criticism was that we were told that they would box up what we couldn’t eat so asked that our Bread & Olives (we didn’t start to eat them) be boxed up only to discover when we got home that they only boxed up the bread & left out the olives. A minor detail but failed to het full marks for this reason.

Hubby and I booked lunch at The Pig and Waffle to celebrate his birthday. We we were welcomed in by a great team who were very warm and friendly. The venue was quaint, and had a real buzz about the place. We decided to order the Tapas deal, (7 tapas, cheapest one for free.) Wow, the food was exceptional - authentic and tasty Spanish fare cooked from scratch using quality ingredients. In summary, we had a great lunch and we will definitely be returning.

We came here as we couldn't get in to the pub down the road and boy we are glad we did. We visited on a Sunday and booked as we were coming from all over the country. The tapas was the best tapas we had ever had and we love tapas!! There was nothing that we ordered that we didn't absolutely love. My dad is picky and he enjoyed everything and didn't want to leave. May I add the desserts were also off the charts especially the black forest gateaux waffle you have to try.

Visited with a new employee for a welcome dinner. The menu was exciting, the food was delicious and service exceptional. The tapas was such a fun way to enjoy a meal, the Camembert was heavenly. We were served by Danielle who was really friendly and gave excellent recommendations. She made our evening.

So amazing to find a fantastic tapas bar in the middle of rural Northamptonshire. The ambience is great, the service very friendly, the drinks list impressive. But the star of the show is the food. A wonderful menu of tapas dishes beautifully cooked by the Spanish chefs and very well presented. Soft shell crab on a bed of samphire, delicious crostini, amazing croquettes, a lovely range of puddings. We were completely spoilt for choice. Only downside was serving the coffee before the pudding. Well worth the journey to this gem of a restaurant.

Called in for tapas lunch today on the recommendation of a friend and could not have been more pleased. We enjoyed ribs, chicken skewers, beef koftas and parmesan and truffle waffle fries. This was followed by a shared lemon almond tart which was exceptional (with ice cream). The two ladies who served us were very attentive. Could not recommend this venue more, we will definitely be back and I would suggest that you book as we were lucky to find a table.

Had a lovely evening at the Pig and Waffle. My friends and I went for dinner, we got 3 tapas dishes each and a pudding. We were very full by the end of the night. Food was absolutely delicious, the ribs fell off the bone! Would 100% recommend to all types of parties. Great for special occasions. We all agreed we will be going back 😁

The pig and waffle came up in a search for restaurants in Northamptonshire. Set in a village location it is open for brunch and tapas in the evenings. Five of us went including two kids and we all left feeling very full and happy. The food is stunning, no bad or even average dishes it was all delicious and difficult to choose a favourite, although the belly pork with apple sauce was divine. Drinks were also great, plenty of choice and one of the best espresso martinis in recent memory! Deserts did not disappoint and rounded off an amazing meal with black forest waffle being a highlight. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. On a Saturday evening its always going to be busy but we were not rushed and didn't wait for long for anything. Fantastic evening!

Ordered beetroot burger, very disappointed, no beetroot tasted like sausage meat, checked with staff that it was vegetarian, ensured it was. Both of us could not eat it. The staff were friendly and helpful. Would not recommend the beetroot burger

We ordered 7 dishes between us as we couldn't decide. Every dish was amazing. I love the Calamari and the Jerk Chicken! We followed this with the Biscoff waffle which was amazing! We will be back to complete the menu!!!

Booked at 9.45am for 10.30am table same day which was a Saturday. Parking can be tricky but there is space on the road. Ramp access is available to the door. Wood burning stove flaming away. Could just sit and watch that! Nice cosy decor inside. Ordered from the brunch menu. English breakfast was lovely. Decent sausages. Perfectly fried egg. No brown or wholemeal bread for toast. Waffle breakfast was very filling. Would prefer to have beans in a little pot as for the English breakfast and not poured over. Makes the waffle soggy. Coffees were decent. Perhaps could be hotter. We were served quickly and checked in on and everyone was polite and very courteous. There is a decent bar and drink selection. Have been several times and always lovely. Would happily return for an evening tapas.

Fabulous, friendly service and mouth-wateringly delicious tapas. I know Tapas is meant for sharing, but some of these dishes were far too good to waste on other people.

Absoulty loved the food well worth the money..staff are very welcoming and gave us grate service... Lara and Grace (the waitresses) were very nice and cheerful. The chef, Maria made excellent food and had great presentation. Some of the best food I have had in a while.

I have had several meals at the pig and waffle and everytime I can say I am blown away with the authentically cooked spanish tapas. The amount of food you get on each dish is more than enough for sharing and the choices are unlimited. Each dish is bursting with flavour and character. Lovingly prepared by the chefs. The setting is quaint and intimate and the staff are wonderful. So lovely to have authentic Spanish staff, really makes the place feel Mediterranean. Don't forget to make room for the amazing waffle dessets. I shall be trying the breakfast and brunch menu very soon.

We visited the Pig and Waffle for the first time on Saturday evening and had a lovely time. The food was really delicious, well cooked and clearly freshly prepared. The lamb dish was our fave! The staff were all very friendly, unfortunately there was a very rude customer in the area where we were sat, who took every opportunity possible to complain, and given the way he spoke to the staff, if I were working I would have told him to leave so they did well to remain professional. Ourselves and the other 2 tables of 2 found it quite awkward and were shocked at the unnecessary rudeness. Thanks for a lovely meal and well done for handling the situation with the large gentleman so well. We'll definitely be back, hopefully he won't.

Food is first class, but the serving staff hopeless. Sat in the side with 4no tables seating only 2 people each. each table had problems with the staff ie 2 no drinks wrong 1 no drink totally incorrect plus staff dropping some food on the floor. I personally asked to see the manager to be told there isn’t one tonight. really no one in charge. All 4 tables laughed and the larger girl replied we are trying our hardest. Looking at the complaints on here someone needs to get a grip. To the owners do you realise how much was thrown away last night. Pure profit down the drain.

Great place, great food and lovely staff. I rang the day before when we had issues with another place loosing our booking. They were happy to help and reserved the outside seating area for all 26 of us on a bike ride. Food was amazing and staff were great. We left refuelled and ready to hit the last 20 miles. We will be using the again next time.
