Fabulous lunch, service, food! I had arranged lunch for 7 Fabulous ladies, from start to finish was seamless.. Liason with chef/staff ref menu choices.. Some of the highest standard food produced! Sensational .. Ladies had a fabulous say.. Highly recommend this establishment.. I shall be returning with more family & friends x

Lunch party of 4 on first visit. The menu is set price 2 or 3 courses with choice of 2 starters/desserts and 4 mains. All agreed the food was good value, well presented and tasty. Soup was smooth, bread delicious, really enjoyed my liver main course. Offered cocktails after drinks order (wine and beer) had already been served, would have preferred the other way around plus surprised at cost of a small glass of wine (£5.95). Cocktails (choice of 3) were 2 for £10 so better value. Young staff/students were willing and eager to please, but not very well informed and obviously most quite inexperienced. No one seemed to know what the fish 'dish of the day' was and a group had a some words in front of us about this. When we did find out fish dsh sounded delicious, we all ordered it only to be told 10 minutes later none left. Asked if we were ready for dessert before we had received our mains which took a while to arrive but apologies given so not really a problem. The restaurant is smart, professionally laid out and comfortable. We will return in the future, believe the menu changes weekly so probably very soon as it's pleasing to be well fed whilst giving practical experience for young students. Loyalty card is another draw. Understand there is now no parking on site unless disabled badge holder.

This was our 1st visit to the restaurant yesterday & will certainly return. The food was excellent & staff were very attentive. Prices were excellent value for the money.

A group of us were pre booked and had pre ordered a 2-3 course lunch. Yet it was 50 minutes before the simple starters arrived. Half the group had to leave before desserts as they were overdue treatments in the beauty department. Time management needs sorting out in a big way,no apology was offered.

An excellent lunch on Tuesday this week. The food was 5 star and the waiting staff excellent. Polite, friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. We’re going again next week!

One of the best foods,I've ever had!it was a taster menu,those guys at the college are superb at all of the food,the gin fizz was a bit tasteless

A friend recommended the Sessions Restaurant, so my husband and I thought we would give it a try... amazing food I had steak diana which was cooked by the table... it was delicious.. husband had the pork belly and he said that was great too. For dessert I had pofiteroles and they were yummy... a two course meal for £8.50 you can't go wrong... lovely food x

Good value for money, had two courses for 8.95, the staff are learning but overall very good, booked for next Monday.

This is the restaurant at the college used to train the students. The food was delicious and well presented and fabulous value for money The students are learning and that needs to be taken into consideration but I would definitely recommend visiting.

Food delicious, different and great value. Service was rather slow but anyone attending needs to understand that these are students in a learning situation. Some may well have been dealing direct with public for first time and been a bit overwhelmed but all were polite and charming. Not quite five star but potential is there and would happily return.

I attended the Royal British Legion Lincoln Branch monthly meeting tonight.. there was a spread of food on in buffet firm that was superb..I think students had made most of it.. A great spread

Sessions is an absolutely fantastic restaurant. The service is great. Prices are unbelievable. Students and staff put a lot of effort into making this a hidden gem. Just look at that afternoon tea 😍

Well what can i say . Really lovely Christmas lunch. 3 courses + coffee and mince pies Excellent. Worth every penny.

The meal the trainees cooked was lovely and the waiting on staff did a very good job to.

The food looked like a painting and tastes like a dream, the price was amazing it was fit for the queen.

Ok, coffee was alright the 1st time, lukewarm the second though.

We have dined here for twenty years. Always impeccable food with lovely "student" service at an amazing price. You wouldn't experience fine dining anywhere else at three times the price.

Amazing food, my first visit was as a guest at a college event so didn't pay for it but I would definitly go back and buy a meal from there.

Sessions is the Lincoln College restaurant where the students get to practice on the public! The standards of food and service are much better than I have had in many commercial restaurants. The cost is low but the experience is great.

This place is cozy comfortable. Your always made to feel looked after whilst your there. The food is lovely and presentation is amazing.

Always wonderful food, served by friendly and attentive students and cooked by talented chefs, highly recommended.
