Stopped for coffee whilst out shopping, nice coffee, friendly staff, plenty of seating both indoor and outdoor

Only popped in for a quick drink and a rest after a walk with our elderly dog. A very friendly pub.

Had to wait 5 mins for fresh chips (which is fine) but boss offered me a small portion of free chips whilst I waited - what a great gesture! Excellent chips!

Nuts, crisps, cobs, cheese board and Samosas served day to day. Good beer, good laughs. Welcoming to all. Great pub.

Ashe the owner is a very friendly person and I always enjoy the drinks in there, plus the range of milks on offer! Ideal for a mid day catch up and has a lovely community atmosphere

Had a lovely evening at the White Bear. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, but friendly and welcoming. The service was good and the food was excellent from start to finish. Generally nothing was too much trouble. We didn't really know what to expect as we couldn't find a website for the venue (other than Facebook, which we were unable to access). But it exceeded our expectations and we will definitely return.

Very thick batter did look nice but didn't taste very good was very soggy fish was watery.

Had a full afternoon tea here and it was absolutely fantastic! So many delicious homemade savouries, quiche, sausage roll, vol au vents as well as delicious sandwiches with the freshest bread. Gorgeous scones and lots of scrummy cakes as well. Lovely friendly staff too. This is a real treat - Highly recommended.

We have ordered takeaways from Ryan’s before and the food has been lovely, However tonight was a completely different experience. The food was over 30 minutes late (1h 50 mins total) and when it finally arrived it was cold. All of the curry sauces just tasted like a tin of tomatoes with a few spices in it, there was no flavour whatsoever and the bread was undercooked and soggy. So Disappointing.

Called in for late lunch, very traditional inside, menu as online, our food - pork pie, Stilton and ham - was very tasty and well presented, all at a reasonable price. Thank you.
