Great atmosphere proper pub great landlord and landlady

Great little pub. We didn't eat there as we went for a pub quiz. Really friendly atmosphere. The pub has a pool table and dart board, plus a beer garden area for when the weafher is good.

This is such a wonderful family led 'hub' for our community. Wonderful food, drink and genuine care for the local community. 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Full price for kids portions. Forgot about us aswell so had to ask to fulfill the food order. Beers fine just don’t bother eating there.

What a fantastic public house, Shaz and Charlee work Tirelessly behind the scenes to work with the community to bring joy to the people that use this facility. They support the small local village with constant events which they put on out of their own pockets and support and organise the local music festivals which are also held for charity.(this year for Rainbows in Loughborough. It is fully dog friendly and they have just started their own food menu supported by their chef Marco. They have drinks available to suit everyone's budget along with a great choice of food. Regular weekend entertain is provided along with free pool and darts on certain nights of the week. They hold monthly quiz and poker tournaments each month, which is supported not just by the locals but people travelling a good few miles to come and enjoy their hospitality. This place could not have better Landladies running the pub.

We’ve started to visit this Village Pub on a regular basis - always given a warm welcome ! We’ve eaten a variety of meals here - Sunday lunch ( fantastic!) - steak & chips ( cooked to perfection- thanks Marco the chef !) … succulent and oh so tasty griddled chicken and cheesy chips - lush ! They serve decent portions at reasonable prices ! We are looking forward to the New Menu ! Thanks all !

We arrived and despite the fact that the kitchen was closed and they didn't have food that day the landlady went out of her way to make us lunch. Food was lovely atmosphere was great and service was awesome. Thank you so much for going the extra mile for us. Nice touch was the complimentary cake for our friends 🎈🎂

A pub with a homely family feel. We are regularly visitors with our children on a Sunday afternoon, the landlady (Shaz) always makes our children feel welcome and us too! A wide selection of drinks and a small homemade menu which has something for every appetite and dietary requirement. The pub has a pool table inside and various games and colouring activities for the children. During the summer months the beer garden is open with a small children playhouse and many different garden toys for them to use. Would definitely recommend this pub and its amazing atmosphere!

We love this place!! Popped in Sunday afternoon and the wonderful owners even asked if our dog would like a Sunday dinner. Absolutely beaut. Always welcoming and friendly with our family. Thank you! X

Amazing atmosphere really good prices and super friendly chef and landlady. Super pleased our niece and nephew invited us! Bonus that Gav was DJing when we came - now that’s some brilliant entertainment! Don’t be a stranger to this pub all people are welcoming 😄

This place is fantastic. The staff and customers are so welcoming, it's always a laugh while you're there. The food and drinks are great, and reasonably priced. They welcome families and dogs too. There's a large outside area and plenty of parking. And always something going on, it's never a dull moment!

Lovely dog and child friendly pub. The staff are absolutely brilliant, and we were treated to lots of lovely gestures like small bowls of roast dinner for the dogs, treats for the children etc. The staff and customer's kind and welcoming demeanor even persisted when one of our children succeeded in blocking the pool table with a bouncy ball... We were mortified, but everyone's attitude was amazing and saved the day for everyone! Thank you for a lovely evening, and I hope you managed to clear the table!

I attended the Heather Music Festival here on 28, 29 & 30 July 2023. It was an incredible even raising money for two charities. Shaz & her family along with her staff & her amazing team of organisers made this an event not to be missed. Her regular clientele were all very welcoming. Can’t wait to see what next year brings.

A great village pub, really friendly locals and a fantastic staff, all very dog-friendly. Large inside, a good car park and a lovely garden - always with something on to entertain the family. There’s a pool table and regular entertainment, always a good night but especially at the weekend. The beers are brilliant and the menu has something for everyone.

Popped in for a drink, meal and a catch up with my daughters Sunday afternoon. Staff so friendly and welcoming. Regulars were too. Very dog friendly, our pooches had their own complementary Sunday dinner, which they both demolished as they couldn't quite believe their luck! Our food was delicious and there was a vast choice on offer. Sunday lunch looked delicious and only £8.40. Will be revisting, thank you.

Landlords are extremely welcoming and kind - went above and beyond when our little one got upset as they ran out of chocolate ice cream and ran to the local shop to get her a bag of chocolate buttons instead.
