Definitely the best pub in the area! The atmosphere is great and the staff are always very friendly. Also the homemade sausage rolls are to die for!

Comfortable friendly pub, with a great range of drinks. Beer kept in good condition, and some interesting cocktails available at a reasonable price. The real fire was lovely on a cold December night.

A lovely village pub. Staff are friendly and welcoming, drinks are always stocked and dog friendly also. Doggie treats on the bar. They serve bar snacks which are so good! Even better in the summer with the huge beer garden and children’s play area. Love it here and visit regularly. Clean and tidy, lovely open fire on the colder days. 100% recommend!

Lovely friendly and welcoming pub. Great selection of homemade traditional bar snacks made with local ingredients from the local butchers. Has a good selection of traditional ales including guest ales which are changed weekly. In the summer you have a fabulous beer garden then in the winter you have a warm cosy open fire.

Lovely pub this, great selection of beers from cask to bottles, very friendly staff and spotless throughout. This is one of our go to pubs especially with family in tow as it has a huge and I mean huge beer garden with plenty of tables and a climbing frame for the little ones. Definitely recommend and will return soon. RK&family

The pub only does bar snacks like scotch eggs, sausage rolls and filled Cobs all are home made and very good 👍

The Crown Inn hosts an incredible atmosphere for NYE. Great landlady, great snacks and of course great drinks at the bar. Would highly recommend to anyone in and around Leicestershire or Derbyshire. Special shout out to Vicky's homemade sausage rolls!

Great find just off the motorway. Cracking ham salad cob for lunch, and there was a play area in the garden for the kids 👍

Went during the week in the evening. There was an open mic gig going on. Place was full and there was a great atmosphere. Staff were friendly and the beer on draught was well kept. Good night.

Well run pub with good covid regulations enforced,landlady very nice sometimes a little snappy but thats understandable in todays climate,myself and my fishing buddies enjoy the after match pint every wednesday and will continue to do so

Quiet traditional Marstons pub in a lovely village. Fed ten hungry walkers on a Saturday lunchtime (we rang ahead). Everything cooked to order (and took some time) and quality, taste and portion size as good as you'd get anywhere. Steaks, gammon and lamb koftas particularly good.
