I would like to say when there is entertainment on there is also plenty of staff behind the bar, service was very quick even when the place is packed out.

Manager Maia is the best bar manager I’ve ever come across. 10/10 service, very friendly, very professional. lovely bar, great aperol spritz, great pints, good selection. highly recommend

Lovely pub, nice village location and easy to find. We visited mid week as part of a friends wake, very friendly atmosphere and staff looked after our needs. Looking forward to visiting again as certainly a great local pub that is worth a visit!

Nice little pub, but very little parking & can be difficult to find space on the street as in residential area. If the bar is busy it can be hard to move around.

Had a brilliant night out with the ladies from Make New Friends joining them for Bonkers Bingo and 70s night.

Met with friends for a drink on a night out. Good beer and service at the bar. Very pleasant atmosphere sitting in the beer garden on a warm summer evening.

We always come in here if we ever fancy a few drinks. Very popular place to come at weekends in the evening. Great bands usually play and a very friendly and pleasant atmosphere. In the summer the beer garden is is really nice and tidy, sometimes bands play outside in the summer. Never seen any trouble in here and staff do a great job running around.

They need to learn how to pour a pint behind the bar. It’s embarrassing

Busy place, not many room to be 100 comfortable. Superb service. Balance is positive but not perfect.

Went here last Friday, its a lovely cosy pub with welcoming friendly atmosphere. It was very busy but there were plenty of bar staff on hand so no queues at the bar. Plenty of seating and with the layout of the pub there was enough room for groups of people together without having to shout to be heard. Lovely decor with ornaments and pictures around the pub so it was interesting too.

Attended a Bingo Bonkers night here. I live locally and was my first visit to the pub. Impressions of the pub itself was very good. Prices wasn't too bad. Plenty of staff at the bar..... all of them polite and quick to serve. Old/traditional pub with a pleasant atmosphere. 100% will be going back for a pint or two. ( Sidenote...... think the owner got a bit angry with someone leaving the front door open with a chair. Understood the fustration he had but delivered his message in quite an aggressive manner. ) Felt very told off although it wasn't us. Other than that great little pub. Cheers

Good atmosphere, drinks changed price every round but was a good place to have a friendly laugh. Music was terrible until the young barstaff were asked to change it for something that was more suitable for the clientele

Packed with the more discerning drinkers of the village. Splendid attmosphere and always swift service no matter how crowded. Sunday nibbles include an award-winning pork pie from the north of the county.

Great "village" pub. Visited on a busy Saturday afternoon and staff were friendly and efficient. Loads of customers in the place drinking ( not really an eatery ) and two screens showing rugby and the Grand National. Prices reasonable, beer ok.

Brilliant pub, well one out and well run, just been in for Sunday afternoon drinks, good selection of sport's being shown across the different areas, and added bonus n of selling my favourite beer shipyard.

Arrived just in time to hear a local get character assassinated by the bar maid. Added to the charm and and enjoyment of the lovely beer :)
