Pub, which is one of few that have kept some of its old features, such as wood and glass partitions. Also, the Victoriana tiled floor which is marvellous. Some very nice beers too...

Lovely pub. My husband's local. It's a typical good old English pub. They have golf ⛳️ societies and are also the hub for an over 50's walking football team. Charity golf barbecue and auction once a year are very popular.

Not a particularly welcoming atmosphere for 'an outsider'. The group of us all felt the same way so had one pint and left. The pint was really nice though and the staff were very knowledgeable about the beers being served. The pub itself was very clean and well kept including the loos

Lovely pub, landlord and landlady are a very pleasant couple, but it would be nice to be able to buy a coffee also it would be great to have some chairs as well as stools.

Loverly place.. not cheap. They over price everything to keep the undesirables away.. not a bad policy..

Hands down the most beautiful pub I’ve ever visited. The decor feels as if it’s been well maintained and cherished since it first opened its doors. Many original features and clever design combine to make it cosy and welcoming. Staff are great.

Always been 4-5 star rated until we had a dog!....no dogs allowed...why???.it's a pub...can understand the No Children rule, but how many appreciative real ale, good pub drinkers...have dogs??....very very disappointed!

Great traditional pub. Landlord creates good environment and watched the world cup.

No credit or debit facility, otherwise a very average Hinckley pub.

Not a great place for young people. Bit of an old man pub. Didn't have any coke, the guy disappeared, then after 5 minutes we realised why, he went to sort he soft drinks, bless him, he didn't say what he was doing, but in all fairness he was sweet. Jut the pub needs a face lift, as no one left on the side and a bit of the wood fell off lol.
