Nice place to go for a drink and sit outside in the fresh air weather permitting of course

We had bottomless brunch and Harley was great, really attentive and friendly. The food was really nice, can't fault it. And the cocktails were yummy, plus they were helpful in making tweaks to suit us. Amazing experience, would definitely recommend and will be back!

The Chequers don't do hot food They do do pool, t.v , and plenty of alcohol to choose from Fabulous hosts.They are so good, the pub is always full.

Sapphire our waitress was amazing, friendly fun and couldn’t do enough for us. Food was excellent the only thing you can do to improve is serve custard with the excellent crumble!

Not visited the Three Stags for a few years but nice to see what a great job has been done on the refurbishment. Well worth a visit, hope to try the food next time we are in the area.

I would definitely not recommend this place for anyone. I bought Tawa for 4 but when we got home we were surprised, it looked like meal for 2. The meat tested like it was reheated from last night as it was soft like cheese.

Wonderful 'no thrills' traditional country pub with a changing selection ofgreat ales and a lovely family friendly beer garden.

What a lovely place! We stopped in to grab some snacks for the trip home (yes, he really did both waffles and the cheesecake without blinking). Staff were so lovely and friendly. Doughnuts, waffles and cheesecake all come highly recommended.

Excellent Food, Service was worthy of a tip. Only one issue that was quickly resolved was that the initial table was right next to the exit to the outdoor seating area. Raised this straight away and was placed at a far better table.

Have just got home after a fantastic meal at Masala, and I'm stuffed. Saw online that they did a banquet on a Thursday evening and after looking at the great reviews and appetising menu, I made a reservation. Greated with a warm friendly welcome. Initially given a table for 2, which was fine as the restaurant was almost full, but as soon as a larger table became available, they asked if we'd like to move and have more space, which I thought was amazing customer service. The food was delicious and before each course was served, we were asked if we were ready or needed more time. It's difficult to put into words how great an experience it was. No wonder Google reviews are 4.7. will definitely be back, soon. Thanks Masala

Lovely setting! Friendly and helpful!Lovely menu and fantastic food. The staff are amazing and so helpful. Real log fires crackling away, great atmosphere, we were a couple with a dog and treated amazingly. Thank you, will be back a few more times before we go home. The pub has a little shop as well for all your needs. Thanks.

Good food selection and lovely service great idea to have senior portions as well as children’s. Food was great as was the service . Well worth a visit but I would book at busy times …. Likely to be busy !!!!!
