Great environment and lovely quality food and drinks, most of all absolutely great welcoming staff too 👍

We went in for some food but changed our minds after the constant smell of weed, unfortunately that just gives the wrong idea of a pub so we had a drink and left

My local...recently been taken over last few weeks...an amazing pub ....brilliant service..always with a 😃 smile... ate there for 1st time since take over and the food was absolutely lovely...fresh...beautifully cooked ..these guys can't do enough for you..Great atmosphere and friendly.. for those that haven't visted or thinking of doing so...give it ago! Great very reasonable prices 👍

Great pub , lots of outdoor space , service was shocking for a Friday night... Landlord and 1 bar staff, took forever to get served. Very lively, plenty in , lovely Karaoke type singer on .

A welcoming estate style pub with plenty of seating both inside and out. Staff were friendly and efficient, Ales were well kept and served. Would be quite happy to revisit.

Pretty poor place to be honest. The Carling is not great at all and the atmosphere pretty dire. The landlords mate (a guy with a pink t-shirt) goes round picking up glasses and dropping derogatory racist remarks what a joker ! Stay away from this dreadful place.

Nice place always feel welcome here....but have yet to try the new menu. I'll let you know when I do 👍

Lovely pub when I visit friends in Derby this is our first port of call for lunch. The food is excellent staff are very obliging and very friendly.

Very good place very friendly people loved it

First visit for about 50years and was pleasantly surprised. Nice interior, good service from an obliging barman. Great pint of Bass. The menu is sufficently broad in the range of meals offered. Our party all enjoyed the food that was chosen. All was hot, well presented and well cooked. I think I will return.

Not been in for a while. Enjoyed our afternoon/evening. Busy venue. Karaoke was late starting due to football on the TV. Looking forward to going back to try the food.

Brilliant place 12 of the family for dads poppy day for being in the para's lovely piping hot food, drinks flowing & laughter all round then DJ at 16-00 hours had fantastic time with getting up to sing and dance.going back in early part of December with all the family ( 20 ) of us kids and grandkids, having a festive lunch as well.Just a brilliant place.

just had a meal with my family and I don't normally leave feedback but i must say credit where its due staff were very pleasent and the food was beautiull, the buttermilk chicken was divine and chips were crispy and fluffy, a very high standard for low prices top notch,there's a one way system with hand sanitisers on hand and was in my opinion clinically clean will visit again soon keel up the good work 👍

Came in with my mum to get her out of the house for the first time since January, and wow, although the pub is having to work within the current guidelines this didn’t stop the staff being brilliant firstly Dean, what a gent, nothing was to much trouble and Tasha cooked our food to perfection. My sister also turned up and although she had to sit on a separate table that didn’t matter, the pub is spotlessly clean and very welcoming and has one of the best outside areas I’ve seen in a while.

I had never used this public house before, however, my husband plays cards for them and after looking at the menu and reading reviews I decided to book our Christmas Day luncheon there. I was not disappointed it was great. All courses were well presented and plentiful. Staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble, Would have no hesitation recommending this establishment.

We found this place on Google as we were camping not far away so my fella, two lads and myself booked. So glad we did. This place is FANTASTIC. The staff are fabulous ( so pleasant and helpful) the food is gorgeous. We ordered two Hunters chickens, two mixed grills, chicken wings and breaded mushrooms as our main meal. The food was delicious and very reasonable priced. We then wanted to order puddings but didn't realise that the kitchen actually shut at 8 pm. (by this time it was almost half past) the lovely man who works here said it wasn't a problem and he made our puddings himself. We will definitely return.

I had the southern sharer and hated it , pork belly was black (charcoal), the garlic bread was only cooked on one side. Would not recommend

I eat here regularly with friends and my partner. We have never had a complaint. It is a lovely pub with friendly staff. The food is such good value for money with 2 meals for £10 during the week. The burgers and fresh cod is especially good!

We just had our sons christening at the Oakland’s and it was the most slick easy friendly and comfortable function I have ever organised, Noreen and her team were absolutely on the ball, all the food was cooked on time and delicious, everyone was catered for fully and the function room was spqcious, well decoratrd, warm, spacious and away from the main bar so perfect for our private function. I would recommend this pub for any private function and will definitely use again myself Thank you for a great day guys much appreciated !

Stopped by on the way home for a bite to eat. We had the 2 for £10. Well worth the price. The meal arrived fresh and hot. Both had the Hunters chicken. Generous portion. Salad crisp and fresh. Would certainly recommend and visit again.
