Enjoyed a bottomless brunch today with friends. The food and cocktails were great! Received excellent customer service from Keira - she looked after us all really well. Would definitely book again.

Went mid-week with my Husband and our older teenage daughter, the food was such great quality, fresh lovely and really tasty! An absolute bargain for what we paid and I was really pleasantly surprised, the staff all seemed lovely as well. I will definitely be back 😁🥰

The best bar for live sports in Derby. Two massive screens, loads of TVs, and if you can get a booth you can choose which channel to watch. The food is decent, and for 40p per wing on Wednesday, it's a good place to watch champions league games. Draft beer selection is decent enough, with neck oil and brewdog wingman available for those beer drinkers wanting to have some other than lager.

Staff were so nice and accommodating for me and my husband. We accidentally booked the wrong date for our bottomless brunch and turned up with a booking gor the week before. They were extremely nice about it even though it was my mistake. They managed to get us a table to just have dinner and a couple of drinks very appreciative that it didn’t ruin our weekend away. Thank you shaggy for helping us.

I went to a bottomless brunch with my boyfriend and best friend and we had the best time. Our waiting staff today were Tom and Brogan and they were very friendly; attentive and willing to have a laugh with us which made our experience much better. Hideout are lucky to have such wonderful staff who really ensure to give the best service!

Went for bottomless brunch, the food was amazing and they didn't let the table go without a drink the whole time we were there, they were very attentive. The atmosphere was good, lots of birthdays being celebrated so don't expect a quiet time, it was definitely fun, will be going again 😁

Brilliant service drinks on point

I’m not normally a ‘bar’ fan, but I’ve been here a few times for its location and beer. They have a few good beers on (Brewdog and Beavertown for example) and the staff are always chatty and friendly. The WiFi is a bonus too, and they have little ‘pods’ for some privacy.

Order a pint of lager, came in a plastic cup with no head, no bubbles, completely flat. Took it back and was told they don't serve in glass. It was exchanged but with a dash of lemonade, not asked for, in a plastic jug. Pointless .

Bottomless brunch at 1600 on a Saturday and we had a great time! Harriet was our server and she was fab, sorting food with allergies and we had far too much to drink during that time. Would recommend 100%! Thanks again Harriet.

Honestly there is one women who has made me write this review! And it’s Jess, she was so friendly and helpful. I haven’t seen someone run around so much in 2:30 hours. We came here for a bottomless brunch and the food and drinks were great! The drinks were constantly topped up and we were asked very often if there’s anything else we need , so thank you so much Jess. They were served so quickly so thank you to the bar staff also! Also our request for a booth was answered which is a massive plus, thank you. I would recommend visiting for a bottomless , such amazing service, food and drinks. Thank youuuu

I recently visited The Hideout in Derby for their bottomless brunch, and unfortunately, the experience left much to be desired. Despite the promising menu and vibrant atmosphere, the service was a significant letdown. Our server, Shaggy, was incredibly slow. After finishing each drink, we had to wait 10-15 minutes before we could order the next one. This wait time is unacceptable for a bottomless brunch, where the appeal is to enjoy drinks continuously. The long delays really put a damper on the experience. To make matters worse, the table next to us had two servers taking their drink orders, so they were always ahead of us despite starting their brunch 30 minutes later. This disparity in service was frustrating and made us feel neglected. Additionally, Shaggy had a noticeable body odor, which was quite off-putting and affected our overall enjoyment of the meal. While the food was decent and the location charming, the lack of efficient service and poor hygiene of the server overshadowed the positive aspects. I hope The Hideout addresses these issues to improve future dining experiences.

Waited 25 minutes for the drink ordered to the table and it was just being made when I went to the bar. Wouldn't mind but you could count on 1 hand how many customers were in here! Staff stood talking. No toilet roll in 5 of the female toilets. Not surprising there's never anyone in here anymore.

Visited yesterday (25/5/24) and went for a bottomless brunch. The football was on, FA cup final between man city and man utd. It was extremely busy, but our waitress went above and beyond. 9 cocktails in all and had such a fab afternoon. Ella was our server and she was incredible, really made our day! This is the 2nd bottomless brunch I've had here and would recommend here rather than anywhere else in Derby. Chips were cold which is why it's only 4 stars, but it was so busy in there, the staff worked so hard to make our brunch enjoyable, loved every second. No photos I'm afraid!

Taff was the best host and really looked after us and was great providing local knowledge nearby too. Great service, polite, friendly and very attentive, we had a really great time!! Attended a bottomless brunch, absolutely brilliant service from Taf, very friendly, quick and efficient. Despite it being busy he took our orders quickly with a smile and made us feel welcome every time. A slight issue with one food order due to the kitchen sending the wrong thing but overall a good experience thanks to Taf :)

We saw a table complaining about him because they said they wasn’t getting enough service but they still walked away with Prosecco and cocktails that they hadn’t finished! TAF. What a pleasent and attentive guy. And 5 women on a 2 hour drunk mission ain't easy. Despite a little food let down, not his fault. It was a great experience.

What a pub, mind you it has changed from over the years with it once being a Walkabout and also Stamps. Popped in on my break to refill the hip flask and order a "Barbie Chick". Not what your thinking either it was a very well presented pizza and was very much appreciated after a gruelling day at the office! Popped to the toilet and to my surprise it was manned by "Jimmy" who was trying his hardest to sell me a splash of aftershave and a red rose 🌹 I politely declined his advances and carried on with my gruelling shift.

At the start of the evening, my partner attempted to book our bottomless brunch by calling up the venue itself but we were told that they were not doing them, even after seeing online that the venue were still available for the bottomless brunches. After discussing it in person with a member of staff, we were able to book our bottomless brunch for myself and my staff for later that evening. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Ella. She was an incredible host/waitress this evening whilst we were there and was especially attentive throughout the whole 2 hour period. Every time that she saw our glasses were empty, she would be there ensuring we were being topped up. The food itself was also very good! Everything for a Monday evening was truly excellent. Will definitely be booking again as this was such a great evening for myself and the staff joining us this evening. TLDR: Book online ahead of time or pop in to book and you won't be with your experience here.

Have had plenty of brunches but The Hideout is by far THE best! We were looked after by Andrew and Miyah. Service was excellent, menu has been updated so plenty of cocktails to try. Nothing was too much trouble. All five of us were served meals at the same time. Food is your average pub grub but nice and tasty. A warm experience with fantastic hosts. Thank you. We will be back soon.

Used to like coming in here but not been in since they replaced the Heineken for the horrible Madri rubbish. Real shame as otherwise it's a great sports pub.

Decided to go for lunch based on the good reviews on here. It was pretty empty when we were there. I ordered the lunchtime sourdough option with the karage chicken. It was very disappointing. There were 4 small pieces of chicken and the roll was rubbery and chewy and very difficult to eat. Consequently I had to leave the roll. It certainly was not sourdough. When my plate was collected I did mention very politely that it wasn't sourdough, but I got no response from the server. Would not return for food again.

My partner and I came for a bottomless brunch, the service was fantastic, we had a server named Taf and he was wonderful very attentive we never once had to get his attention. The food and the drinks were great, the only negative we had was who we assume to be the chef middle age fella who served us our food, he only brought half my order and told me I was to wait until he had sever everyone else in the restaurant before he would complete my order he was really rather rude however taff certainly made up for it :) we will for sure be coming back.

Came here for bottomless brunch yesterday. A group of 4 of us and we all loved it. Service was spot on, Brooke was excellent, really friendly and made sure the drinks were kept topped up. The best bottomless brunch I've done on account of the drinks choice, food choice and the customer service from Brooke, never had such great service at a bottomless brunch before. 100% be coming back

Honestly was left disappointed after a positive start with a lovely waitress who was left managing over 50+ people on a busy sports night. We were changed over to another waiter after shift change. He never let us know and then to top things off threw multiple drinks across our table, we ordered a botte and met the same response. After this I wouldn't return feel like you could easily spend money money on a brunch somewhere else in the town center and enjoy it more. Thank you . To top it all off were incorrectly OVERCHARGED. £39 each for a £29 standard brunch save your money.
