The Little Cob Shop in Derby

Came here on a whim. Lovely little shop. Staff were happy and food was served quick. Will come in again when passing.

The food quality is always on point, fresh and tasty. Delivery on time and was hot.

I was really looking forward to this order given the great reviews, I would have enjoyed it but it was cold, not just a bit cold but really cold, order was late I'm guessing lots of orders went out at the same time and mine was last. disappointed 😒

Absolutely delicious! Breakfast wrap is 1000 times better than Maccys! Also arrived on time, still hot and lots of food for the price. Never ordered from you before but will defo order again!

Disappointed. Usually good food and listen to comments. Did not take any notice of my notes at all, the hash browns weren’t cooked enough and the bacon was overcooked.

I don’t normally leave reviews but I wanted to say how lovely this breakfast was. 10/10 would recommend.

Was meant to leave a review for these guys and forgot - but their food has always arrived warm for me and is absolutely delicious! I can't recommend a greater lunch place for their.. well.. lunch! :)

Definitely hit the spot, fresh and delicious.

I ordered 2 cobs, one with chicken and stuffing in it, and the other cob with a gammon ham salad and mayonnaise. both cobs were really dry! I am very disappointed with the quality of food at the cob shop! plus, the quantity of chicken strips they gave me in my cob! I feell I've wasted my money! I am disabled and can't get our to the cob shop to choose my own lunch! I would like a refund please, as I am terribly disappointed with my delivery order today! Mrs jennifer pritchett x

I have never had a tasteless bland breakfast before so that was a new one most of it went it the bin

It said on the menu that milkshakes came with cream, marshmellows and sprinkles. I got none of that and the milkshake quite small and cost £5.20!!!!!!! Not impressed at all.

We ordered two breakfast wraps, perfect amount of each topping so nothing overpowered another element. The sausages were nicely cooked (not soggy or crispy like some can be) the cheese made the egg taste a little bit runny which was lovely and the bacon wasn't fatty or chewy, the hash brown was still warm. The wrap itself was crisp but not cardboard and contained everything really well, no dripping on the plate. Will definitely go into shop once recovered more from injury and can drive again.

was so looking forward to this breakfast wrap, cheap sausages, rock hard bacon, rubber egg, its gone in the bin, hubby wouldnt eat it and he will eat anything. not for us.

I have used the The Little Cob Shop on several occasions and have always had beautiful fresh and thoroughly enjoyable food. My Granddaughter loves the breakfast wraps and the salad boxes are full of tasty items. All of the staff are polite and friendly, we will be back again soon!

Best thing ever was this cob shop opening on a Sunday when your hung over and starving…… why ring maccy ds when you can go to your local cob shop ordered a breakfast wrap, small breakfast, large breakfast and a can of Pepsi… food was fantastic…. We only live around the corner… but only seem to want hangover food on a Sunday! So pleased they open Sundays will for sure order again!! Everything was hot and tasty …. Good quality food… keep doing what your doing because it’s a great asset to spondon especially being open on a Sunday!!!!! Order soon thanks once again xxx

We really enjoyed our breakfast cobs, they were perfect. Delivery was fast and the food was hot which you don’t normally get from other fast food outlets. Delivery driver was friendly and I have only ever had a positive experience. The staff work hard to ensure that the customer is receiving a great service. Thank you :)

Fabulous place. We nipped in for lunch a few days ago and had fresh cobs with a great selection of salad to choose from. We also had a couple of their homemade cheesecakes which were delightful! The prices are very reasonable and the staff are friendly. It was clear when we went in that they have lots of regular customers and I can see why! We will be back ;)

First time we have ordered from this cob shop in spondon, but wow I'm ordering again for sure. My 14 year old daughter wanted a fry up and I had nothing in so ordered her a large breakfast, it came lovely and hot and the beans/tomatoes were in a separate pot which she loved. She ate the lot and asked me if we can order another one tomorrow!

We review a lot of company's in regards to food that we have daily, myself and my staff are locals to every buisness in the UK. This buisness was closed for weeks, it refused to send us our food, we had to go through the bank to recover our costs. Parking is terrible - My staff 4 had food poisioning we orderred full monty breakfast and had to go 4 times to visit in order to get our food ordered 3 weeks prior, the staff dont open till late then close very early , the food is NOT local and the owner Helen Stephenson is very rude to our children, our staff and other people. The food was not the best at all, we did record the entire thing showing we eaten here, and is live on the charity websites with over 3.3 million followers. WE would NOT recommend this company the food is not good at all, and is of very poor quality. the shop is 90% always closed, The underpaid and un-trained staff some are actual helpful. and need a pay rise to the minimum standard wage which some say are not bothered as their claiming benefits as well. We have to share this genuine review as this is a genuine review ordered 11 full breakfasts 3 weeks later had to travel over and fetch ourselves, then was told we had to eat in and could not get a delivery and the owner screamed abuse when we turned up in our workwear and told us to get out. We would not recommend this place, the breakfast was VERY un-cooked and with them not washing their hands is a hygiene risk.

Food was delicious! Only thing id change is the brown sauce. It wasnt HP, was too fruity for the bacon and mushroom baguette. I would 100% order again but i would use my own HP brown sauce. I highly recommend the breakfast and filled cobs.

Ordered a large breakfast & it was a Quick delivery,the food was nice and hot and I loved how the tomatoes and beans came in pots so it didn’t soak into the other items of food,definitely order again 👍

I like this place, I go there often to grab brunch or lunch. I like everything about this place. I know they always trying to serve everything fresh and they actually do serve almost everything fresh, it just that in the past couple of times the vegetables didn’t taste as tasted before, so I give encouraging 4/5

We used to have a lovely sandwich shop by us that was near the train station that did great breakfast sandwiches but COVID and a few lockdowns basically caused them to close shop. Since then we never found a sandwich shop that was on par with them in terms of pricing and high quality. That is until we tried this place. We definitely will order here more often as food was perfect and could not fault it at all. Also are the milkshakes coming back as they are showing sold out and would be interested in trying one?

Really tasty! I had a jacket potato with cheese, beans and side salad with coleslaw. Really good portion! Super filling. Daughter wanted just a cheese panini, so I ordered ham and cheese and sent a note to the shop, and we received the correct order. The cheesecake pots are super sweet, but really tasty! Easily 2 portions per pot.

First time I've ever ordered a breakfast - portion sizes were great, food delivered was hot, delivery was on time and price was more than reasonable. Would definitely recommend!
