Visited Take Italy Bistrot for my dad's anniversary meal last week. Was a cute little place with some absolutely gorgeous food and lovely staff. My only complaint(s) is that it was absolutely freezing in there so I had to leave my layers on the whole time, and for a small town like Grantham, the prices are quite excessive. Dont get me wrong though, it's 100% worth it, but considering you can get the same quality of food for less elsewhere in Grantham, I fear the high price tag may be a bit too much for most people. I would definitely go again though, please just pop in some kind of heating. It's so cold in there at winter

Turns out they have closed down but still accept payment on online orders. And Google maps still states they are open so very misleading Need to go via bank to get refund.

Went in for 2 sausage rolls today 03/09/2024, a pleasant visit and was served by a polite and cheerful member of staff .

Enjoyed my visits nice to sit outside, pleasant to have open view to Trent ....

5 out 5, lovely staff, incredible food, and such a lovely restaurant. We have been for breakfast, lunch and many evening meals. Our favourite is the sharing platters. Everyone must try delights, you will all love it :)

Forget your chain coffee and pizza places. Without a doubt, we had the best garlic and cheese ever here. And if that wasn't a good enough reason for you, the coffee was up there with the best.

I’ve always been curious about ordering from here, but the location and mixed reviews held me back. Finally, I decided to give it a shot. For just £20 after discounts, getting two pizzas is a fantastic deal! Now, let’s talk about the pizza itself: • The tomato sauce is excellent—really packs a punch! I personally prefer a bit more, but it’s still very tasty. Maybe the best I’ve tried in Notts! • The cheese is good and seems low moisture, so there’s no excess grease pooling, even with the pepperoni. Rudys need to learn this. • The dough is light and airy, but the standout feature is the saltiness! You can tell a pizza is good by how well the dough is seasoned, and this one nails it. The only downside for me was the flop. I prefer a crisper bottom with more char to minimize flop. However, if they’re cooking them quickly, it’s understandable that the stone cools down. If they could raise the temperature on the bottom stone, I think they’d really nail it. Overall, great pizza at a great price. I’d give it a solid 7/10!
