Been here a few times now and never had one single complaint. Staff are always cheerful and helpful, good atmosphere, food and drinks are fairly priced, and a 20% student discount is great! Got great sports tvs too and a large outdoor area for when the weather’s nice. Highly recommend for any occasion.

Had a lovely lunch at the lady bay pub, food was great and so was the service. Dawn was really friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend for families and friends!

Sunday lunch was fantastic all staff were helpful and friendly. The landlord was the highlight of our visit keeping the children entertained! Highly recommended.

Staying locally for a family holiday, we stopped off for a quick drink. Ended up coming back every night for dinner. Very friendly staff, great food and lovely atmosphere. Not a single complaint and will definitely visit again if we are in the area.

Came in on Friday evening with my husband and grandchildren and had a great time. The pub had a lovely atmosphere and the kids made the most of the outdoor play area. Delicious food cooked by Rachel and great service from Hannah and Ali. Would definitely recommend.

Unfortunately I was very Disappointed with the food. Chips where deep fried very greasy chicken burger was hard and dry left a horrible taste in my mouth My partner had a breakfast no bacon we said no tomato and black pudding and still came with it all on.. wouldn't recommend

This is one of those pubs that looks like an ordinary pub, I have been in for food 3/4 times whilst working in the area and it is superb!! If you are lucky and get Freya to serve you you will be very happy! She has a lovely smile and is a true professional!!! I am very happy and wish it was near where I live . Thanks everyone xx

Sunday Roast! Why go to all the bother? The time and the mess when you can have a great value delicious home cooked meal in a nice relaxing environment. I had the roast beef today. The veggies were fresh and unlike many places were cooked to retain lots of flavour and crunch. The roasties were crunchy and fluffy inside - honestly like homemade roast potatoes. Friendly service and a nice cosy atmosphere. We had the large round table in the bay window, any noise from elsewhere was muffled so we could enjoy a nice conversation with my my elderly mum who is hard of hearing. Totally recommend this welcoming local pub.

Three of us booked a table for a get together to watch a football match on the big tv. We were made very welcome which was topped off with great food (The Smashed Burger was simply melt in your mouth tasty 😋), cracking pint of beer and fantastic service.
