Franks is the best chippy in the western world.

Love the variety they have. We have been using this shop for years. Never disappointed with the quality or price. We love that they do both Chinese and chippy. It gives us the best of both.

Excellent chippy, bang on food, not tried the Chinese food, but the chips pie, fish and gravy hard to beat, and the quantity they give you for the price, unbelievable. Recommend 👍

Best place in ilkeston for Chinese

I called up to ask what time they shut. They told me 21:30. I arrived at 21:20 to find them fully closed. Shutter down and nobody around. Why lie?

Amazing Chinese dishes, freshly cooked. Good menu with lots of dishes to choose from. Traditional English chippy food also excellent. Friendly staff.

Does not offer any gluten free options. Rang to check before ordering and told everything had gluten. One of our party was unable to join in the meal.

Excellent food and service, been trying other takeaways around me and always come back to Hon Wah. Best for miles. Keep up with the great food and service.

Really good chip chop and even better Chinese. Love the chips in this place, if you ask for a large portion, it really is a large portion. Always busy which should tell you a lot. There is space for parking outside which is a plus. And a bench by the counter so you can sit down if you have to wait. This is always our go to takeaway treat.

Good salt and spicy chips, but not as many varied vegetable options as I'd hoped.
