Would not hesitate to recommend The Olive Pot for a special occasion. From booking to execution of a meal for 10, the service could not have been any better. We were given a large choice of menus from which we chose 3 dishes for each course. The staff arrived on time, dressed the table and cooked and served the most amazing meals. The quality of the food was excellent and cooked to perfection. I would go so far as to say it was some of best I'd had in a very long time... and plenty of it. After we had finished everything was left spotless. I really don't k so how they did it, but it made an auspicious occasion very special. Thank you.

We booked Olivepot around 18 months before our wedding after a very friendly phone call with the owner Chris who helped us picture our wedding day perfectly. Throughout the run up to the big day, Chris and Katie happily accommodated our every need, we attended a wedding tasting day and the food was everything we could have imagined and more. So good that we decided to book Olivepot for Friday evening and Sunday morning too, meaning along with our guests, we were going to enjoy their food for a full weekend and we weren’t disappointed. From the Burger Bar on Friday evening to our Wedding Breakfast to their excellent Horsebox Bar and finally the Sunday morning Breakfast Baps, their food, presentation and customer service was incredible. Not only did our guests compliment the food but also the amazing personalities of all of the Olivepot team. Ben and I honestly cannot thank Chris, Katie and their amazing team for making our Wedding Weekend an incredible experience for all involved, we will never forget your friendly staff and most importantly your delicious food.

Look no further for your wedding!! We had Olivepot cater for our Wedding last month and from the moment we enquired all the way through to our big day (18months) they were absolutely amazing. Perfect food served at our wedding breakfast and raved about by all our guests, a customised menu and tasting process which was thorough and enjoyable, and ALL the team were first class with their service & professionalism. We also had the horse box bar service serving drinks noon-midnight & not only is this an amazing summery bar to have at your wedding with all the guests flocking to enjoy cocktails, gins, cask ales etc. But it's aesthetically a fantastic feature and stands out in all our photos! Now I cannot review Olivepot without mentioning Chris, who runs the business and we had all our dealings with throughout. I can honestly say he is the definition of a super star. You could not wish to meet a more genuine individual. He was attentive, enthusiastic and passionate about Olivepot's services and our special day from the very first email we shared. From there he dealt with everything - day and night he'd be sorting all the finer details out and sometimes at the drop of a hat! There are bumps in the road with logistics and organising when you are planning your wedding, but Chris went above and beyond every single time, always reassuring us and always totally honest and ultimately delivering outstanding customer service. His wealth of knowledge and experience was abundantly clear and the rapport he built with us felt like we'd known him for years. We were delighted we chose Olivepot Catering for my 70th birthday party last Saturday. I knew it was going to be a great experience after I inadvertently placed the order for the wrong day!! Chris couldn’t have been more helpful and pulled out all the stops to get back from an event in north Nottinghamshire to deliver hot food and serve my guests, which must have taken a lot of doing. The setting up, service and clearing up afterwards was immaculate, and the food itself was really excellent quality. The ultimate compliment came from my French sister in law and her husband, who spend a lot of time at their house in the south west of France and often use caterers there. She said that the food served to us was an even better standard than she is used to, and I agree with her entirely. Delicious dishes, well presented, piping hot. I would use Olivepot again without hesitation, and can’t thank them enough for helping to make my 70th birthday party really special.

We had a training session booked at out office for 9 people, and ordered lunch in from The Olive Pot on the 29th of May. The choice and selection was excellent, and delivered around an hour before, and in good time for the lunch break. I can give no higher praise than to say, it was the best buffet lunch of this type I've ever had. The food was fresh, delicious, and really high quality. Great service too but more importantly, all our attendee's loved the food! They'll be our supplier of choice for any future events. Just book them, you wont be disappointed!

Had olivepot catering for my sisters hen do at Hollywood House and cannot recommend them enough! The help over email with Chris about everything I wanted and advice was quick and really helpful! The food was amazing and the caterers were so professional going above and beyond what we hired them for! So so glad we booked with them and will definately be doing in the future if we are up there again! Heather x

Cannot praise Olive Pot catering highly enough from the initial point of contact to us eating the last crumb. Danielle has been brilliant to communicate with and was really helpful when I needed to amended my choices. We had a super buffet delivered to our private party of 23 people. It was delicious, well presented and there was well enough for everyone. The honey/sesame sausages are divine. Chris was brilliant at our venue and helped us out with an issue which wasn't food related but he was an absolute star!!. Truly amazing tasty food and would definitely recommend and book again.

Chris and his team were phenomenal to work with. They catered for our wedding which was a mix of vegetarian and meat. They even managed to find the right cheese for our Canadian dish of poutine. Having the right taste of home was so important for me and I am so grateful. Chris was so helpful and reliable with communication via email leading up to the event and the waiting staff on the day were top notch. Excellent service and lovely people. Both my husband and I do not eat meat and the variety of food was great. Everyone loved their food and it really did taste amazing. Olive Pot provided the afternoon tea for my Father's funeral. The food was excellent in variety and quality, and the service provided was extremely professional. I couldn't have asked for better. Thank you for your positive contribution to our difficult day.

Chris and his team at Olive Pot Catering were outstanding. They setup the day before which reduced the stress of our DIY wedding. The laid the tables beautifully and service was quick and efficient. We had an afternoon tea package and one of the guests even mentioned that it was better than Harrods and The Ritz. The way the afternoon tea was served meant that everyone on the tables was talking and it created a wonderful atmosphere. They set up their own catering marquee so they didn’t have to rely on the very small kitchen at our venue.

We also had a bar supplied by Olive Pot which was well stocked and very reasonably priced. The staff worked hard, were friendly and welcoming and there was never a queue for drinks even with it being frequented by our guests. Ice was important to my guests as they like their drinks cold - but they had no need to worry as it was all under control. We cannot thank the team enough for their help in making the day run smoothly and I would highly recommend Olive Pot Catering for any function.

Olive Pot did our wedding at Yeldersley Hall in Ashbourne (a great combination). Right from initial conservations to clearing up at the end a flawless service. Exquisite food at what I would consider a reasonable price. Flexible to dietary requirements and last minute changes. Guests were raving about the 3-course dinner. Excellent waiting staff and bar service too. Chris takes pride in the business and it shows.

Here is a well deserved review to a fantastic catering company!! I don't usually write reviews unless something is outstanding. Olive Pot truly deserve all the credit they get. The food is always one of the main highlights for the guests attending a wedding and the Olive Pot team absolutely excelled! Even now, two months later, guests are still talking about the wedding food! In the lead up to the wedding day Chris was so helpful and accommodating in all aspects of the wedding 'project!' He was so easy to work with and nothing was too much trouble! Chris had some fantastic ideas to put a personal spin on our very special day and even a few days before the wedding he was accommodating to any last minute changes! Cannot fault this catering company at all-I thought I was a perfectionist but these guys take this to another level. Chris and your wonderful team, I know I said it on the day, but I really cannot thank you all enough. I knew you guys would be great on the day but in reality you perfect. The food was fantastic and I have had a lot of great feedback from our guests, I've heard more than a few say that the food provided at our wedding was the BEST wedding food they have ever had! Well done to you all and again Thank you for everything, you were such a good team to work with. The olive pot catered for my wedding and their food was incredible. From the moment we booked, Chris and his team could not do enough to help us and made our lives so much easier. Even providing us with details of companies who provided outdoor benches, toilets etc.. nothing was too much trouble. The food on the day was beautiful, especially the meatballs and salmon (fork buffet) were amazing. People are still talking about them! I would recommend these guys to everyone. They went above and beyond in every way :) I just wish we could do it all over again!

Paramos aquí para desayunar mazorcas y me sorprendió gratamente. Las mazorcas son bacon muy suaves es justo lo recomiendo altamente. Lo mejor para llevar asientos, aunque no tan grande. Todas las ventanas son de vapor y goteo y el olor del café palitos a su ropa. Extractores sería una ventaja.

Nice bacon cobs, and also had a good breakfast here. Not a huge eating area, but a good reasonably priced stop off if you are in town
