Visited George’s, on Saturday the 7th of September. I was greeted with a friendly smile, my daughter had chips battered sausage and curry sauce. I had cod chips, peas and curry and my partner had fish and peas. My daughter said best she had. We will all be returning very soon!

Wow, why haven’t I tried you before, best fish and chips in Retford. Well cooked and I can see you filter your oil regularly just looking at the quality of your chips, and the batter on you fish it’s a five star from me.

It's a good place and while they cook you can nip down to co op and they'll hold you food It tastes good and the food is always hot.

Called in on the off-chance just looking for a chippie that took card after I'd finished a job in the area. Very nice bloke working the counter and serving! Served me a portion the exact size I wanted. I'd be there every other day if I lived in that area.

Very good quality foods, usual Fish Chip shop choice and a good honest prices. Family run for a few years now and very popular with the local community. Definitely Recommended. Obviously for now only 3 person permitted at any time so will need to wait outside at peak times.. face mask needed.. Enjoy you meal..
