A lovely little café you don't want to miss out on! I love getting breakfast from Mrs C's, no order is too awkward, and the variety of breakfast cobs are delicious and amazing value (they even do halloumi!) The homemade cakes are incredible, if you see the egg custard make sure to grab one as they sell out super quick Shelley, Jay, Ronnie and the team are the nicest people and great for a natter while you wait The café is also dog friendly so I get to see some furry faces as well, what more could you want? Thank you for all the amazing breakfasts!

I came to this cafe after seeing the glowing reviews, unfortunately I felt like I was stepping into someones personal space and felt quite embarrassed. Cosy is one thing but it is literally tiny and I personally felt really uncomfortable. It was quite messy when I walked in, boxes of food left lying around, the lady who runs it is quite chatty, So if you are someone that likes to chill out doing there own thing then this place is not for you.

We love going to the tea cosy. The food is delicious, as is the coffee. The cafe has a lovely community feel to it. The team at the tea cosy are all absolutely lovely. Would definitely recommend a visit. It's made even better by being dog friendly and the delicious gluten free cake ♥️

When here at weekend so small it's dangerous just no room at all was not impressed with cake very hard at the edges .

came in today on the 1 birthday of opening and the lady I spoke to was so lovely I had a luxury hot chocolate and a slice of bakewell tart both of which was delicious I also took home a slice of brownie and egg custard definitely coming again 100% recommend

I genuinely think this is one of my favourite places in the world. It's such a lovely little community café, with a brilliant atmosphere, and great food and drink too. Friendly faces, a sense of community, a lovely spot in the heart of Littleover, dog-friendly, cat friendly (they're all the stars of the show too really!) and a top food hygiene rating. Great customer service and definitely worth a visit.

What a great cafe, lovely cake and coffee but what really makes it is the incredible atmosphere and awful jokes 🤣 It's also possibly the most dog friendly cafe that exists!

A delicious full English breakfast with the cabaret act from the in-house comedian Vince while the missus had the best cappuccino she's had in a long time. Definitely somewhere I'll be heading back to. Mrs C has increased the range since my earlier review and has added more food options as well as milkshakes and smoothies!

I had a breakfast cob from here, and as always it was incredible, it’s definitely the best I’ve tried. It never disappoints. The staff are always so friendly and accommodating, they are an amazing little team. Would highly recommend going here, especially when it’s sunny as you can sit outside too! Will definitely be coming back!

Love going here, I pop in for a coffee and good company at every opportunity. The mushrooms are my favourite but do occasionally grab a cheese and coleslaw cob for when I’m working from home. Love meeting all the dogs that visit too, as well as take my own. They always get a treat from the boss 😉.

We had breakfast again at Mrs C Tea Cosy today, as always the food was delicious and everything was freshly cooked. Shelley and her team are so welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. One of our party was a first time visitor and remarked on how friendly and welcoming it was. It really is a gem and all credit to everyone. We will be back very soon...

Thought we try somewhere different but as walking in the atmosphere was cold and dingy staff wasn't very welcoming place wasn't tidy nor looked clean it was very cramped we will be sticking with our usual place

First time at this cafe and it was AMAZING the food was very tasty. No grease no oil and the staff are very welcoming and kind. The sit in area is beautiful and has a cosy atmosphere.. very reasonably priced... will go there again at first opportunity I would like to give 10 star rating

Love it here! Possibly one of the littlest coffee shops there is, but so many reasons to visit. An amazing array of choice in terms of breakfast options, lunches and sweet treats. Amazing service and fab coffee too. Nothing is too much trouble, everything can be tailored to suit. Really enjoyed my cheese and ham panini, freshly made to order. And Eddie was totally chuffed with his sosigs!

Called in with the kids and we'll definitely be back. Great food service and value 👌

Popped in this morning for a take away breakfast after seeing their Facebook page being so active (I even met Custard Carol ☺️)! Had a lovely full English for my husband and a bacon cob for me, everything was cooked to perfection! The cafe was laid out perfectly so lots of guests can sit in and enjoy the wonderful food, and very friendly staff. Definitely going to visit again, and I spotted a highchair so we can bring our baby with us too!

Mother and daughter ran cafe that is cozy, tiny but don't let the size fool you. All homemade cakes that are amazing, very select menu, baked potatoes, toasties and sandwiches, I dont think you could go wrong with anything you order. Very friendly pair who are happy to chat with you, will be going back.

Visited the Tea Cosy with my partner for coffee and cake, we ordered two lattes and a large slice of red velvet cake (which was to die for) all for £7! Staff were very friendly and we were able to sit outside. We will be coming back!

Cosy and colourful little place which is well decorated, warm and friendly greeting on entering, fruit scone and coffee were fine.

Visited with my mum for lunch. Both had a toasted sandwiches and a big pot of tea. Sandwiches freshly made to order with crisps,salad and coleslaw on the side. Bill came to just short of £9! Absolutely bargain. Lovely, friendly atmosphere. Beautifully decorated. Told by owner that takeaway service planned in the very near future.
