Brownie Points Bakery in Derby

Called in for a coffee which was a bit cold tbh However the Brownies looked amazing so took a box home and yes got to give a 10 out of 10 lovely brownies :) taste home made and are delicious a great texture etc

Cornflake cake was stale, really gutted as it looked unreal but it was such a waste of calories, didn’t enjoy eating it. Blondie had a nice texture to it, but again it tasted like it wasn’t cooked recently

Tried a brownie from here years ago and sadly moved away but came back and was so glad to still see this place up and running the brownies are amazing service is amazing I don’t go into town often but when I do I always like to pop in and grab a brownie

If only the customer service was as good as the cakes. As soon as I walked through the door (literally the first step through it, before I even got to the counter to see what they had in) I hear “What can I get you?” I walked over to the counters to see what they had, only to be glared at impatiently until I made my purchase. The brownie was lovely but the rude assistant clearly didn’t want to be there. Not like there was even a queue, the place was empty (not surprising with customer service like that) won’t be going there again.

Great brownies and a deal available for a coffee and a brownie (can’t remember the price but it was less than £5). Best brownies in Derby and highly underrated. Would love to see them have an outdoor space one day in a more central location but the bakery here is lovely regardless.

Fabulous cookie dough,crunchie pie thing! It was flippin delicious and was huge, I cut into three pieces and they were all a good anount to have with a cup of tea, definitely going again.

I came all the way from london stopping by to see my friends and i had my eye on this place, the flavours and variety are crazy and i cant say i didnt like every single bite

Updating with pics. I have family in Derby and always try and steal a visit to here when I am around. Incredible value and and always a big selection. More people should know about this place, but then I am kinda glad that they don't!

Just had a cake from the stall at derby University... had it it 4/5 hours after purchasing... Absolutely the best I've had.. I cut through it and it was as fresh as I had just got it out the oven... deffo reccomend takes me back to my school days.. keep it up guys... see you again... (very shortly)

Terrible service from the young lady there tonight. Went in just before 5 for a coffee and they'd already shut it down. Wrong cake handed to my nephew and whilst she changed it, eyes were rolled and the cake lobbed into the bin. Young girl appeared to have a funny attitude.

Amazing cakes, me and my husband stumbled upon the shop when passing and was spoilted for choice of whice cake to choice from. My husband is a big fan of the old school cake says it the best he as ever eaten 😋

Nice little place in derby with a wide selection of brownies ice cream and milkshakes would recommend to any sweet tooth lover (I ordered the frerro Roche brownie and strawberry milkshake 10/10)

honestly quite underwhelming. Every time I go into the shop, everything on display looks so good and smells even better, but when I actually taste it, it's just kind of bland, not to mention a lot of them just taste the same. I recommend to go there once, but other than that, not so much.

Tried it out twice. First time I got brownie for myself and lotus biscuit for my sister. Second time I got a cheesecake pot. Cheesecake was too vanilla and just seemed like cream lopped into a pot (hella sweet taste). Brownie was ok. Woman with blond hair at the till was really friendly and nice.

Great tasting brownies, unfortunately last time I went got charged full price for 6 even though the deal says buy 5 get 1 free. Didn’t clock it till I left and the store was way too busy to bother going back and pointing it out.

I don’t wanna be this horrible person who’s complaining Went to brownie point in the shopping centre, Derby, I saw a lovely looking cheesecake on a display counter I got two packed nicely in a box, but the lady who was serve me tilt the box upside down in the bag destroying the cheesecakes I honestly, don’t understand why people are so rude I asked her why would u do something like that she looked at me. Funny I took her a while to say sorry with an attitude, what is the point of buying something what looks nice on the display but then it’s packed in the box and dumped in the bag upside down . Shame definitely not coming there again👋🏽👋🏽👋🏽

It's been a while since we were here last and we were looking forward to visiting again. It didn't disappoint - there is an extensive choice of Brownies and other delicious cakes. The coffee is good too. This is a great place for that special cake treat.

My son and I were in Derby for the morning and decided we'd treat ourselves to a Brownie. The selection, size and quality of the brownies, blondies and cookies at 'Brownie Points' is absolutely amazing. So much to choose from it took us a good 5-10 minutes to decide... We ate in and then got another brownie to take away as they were so good. I had a latte which was good and my son had a cookies and cream milkshake which he said was awesome too. Service was friendly and prices really quite reasonable for what you get. You do feel like you could gain about 5 kilos in weight though just by looking at the display of brownies!!

The cookie dough tray bake is utterly disgusting!!! A sloppy disgusting mess even though kept in the fridge. Upon calling the shop to speak to the customer adviser, I was met with a barrage of abuse and raised voice! The worst customer service I have ever received I will not be returning to the store and will ensure to tell everyone I know about the incident. It was bad enough that the product was awful, but to be spoken to in such a way leaves an even worse taste in my mouth!! Disappointed and ripped off !!!

Lovely little brownie bakery, amazing brownies and so many flavours to chose from! I recommend to all! super friendly assistant at the tills also! A couple of niggles I have - the opening times make it super difficult to visit, as they not not aligned with the Derbion opening times unfortunately, especially the late night opening hours. As I usually pop in after work on a Thursday or Friday before the weekend rush and the shop is always closed! So I don’t purchase brownies as much as I would like. Would love for the opening times to be extended into the evenings if possible! Lower overall rating due to this but the brownies are amazing!!!

We love going here for their fabulous GF brownies. It was busy on this occasion, service was slow and there was only 1 person on the til trying to juggle everything. There was another worker who seemed to be clearing up dishes etc but would have been nice if she jumped in to help the poor girl struggling to do everything on the til. It might have helped to have some of scotch egg boxes already made up. But as soon as you sink your teeth into the delicious brownies the service issues somewhat melt away. Thank you for continuing to supply gf brownies!

I sometimes come in here after having a browse in the Derbion shopping centre and on both occasions I have eaten in. The staff see that I have a walking pole and they always take the brownie to the table and ask if I want anything else. The brownies are well priced and there is a wide range of sweet treats to choose from- I recently had their Cookie Dough Cheesecake which was nice, although I couldn't finish it off. I will be back.

Brownie Points Bakery is an absolute gem of Derby! I’ve tried several flavours of brownies and every single one of them was amazing, both vegan and non-vegan options! The staff has always been very nice and even recommended a flavour when I was very indecisive. 😄

The best brownies we have ever had! The variety is great and all the ones we have tried have been delicious. They have a soft texture which is just how I like them. This is now a must-visit every time we are in the Intu. Don't forget to sign up to their reward scheme too!

I can only start by saying thank you Brownie Points! Hubby and I absolutely love your brownies, and nothing else has ever compared to the taste, quality and value for money that you offer. We discovered Brownie Points when we moved to Derby. What was a monthly visits...is now a near enough a weekly brownie. We look forward to one almost every Saturday. I've tried other cakes and tray bakes too and don't have a bad word to say about any of Brownie Points delicious bakes. Absolutely delicious! The biggest compliment we could give is that even now we've moved back to Scotland, we still have our weekly Brownie thanks to the nationwide delivery service which we are massively grateful for. The cakes are amazing and the small cheesecakes. But I do feel as though the brownies are move novelty due to the different flavours and toppings but they taste and feel more cakes than a gooey taditional brownie. Customer service is great.

This place in amazing. Located down a side bit in the shopping center in Derby, you might miss it if you're not looking for it and I would recommend you look for it and visit when you're in the city. They sell not just brownies but cakes, milkshakes, afternoon teas everything any lover of baked goods could ask for. The staff are friendly and all their brownies are baked in store, they smell amazing, they taste amazing, but don't take my word for it, go grab yourself one and see for yourself.

Bought a cream egg brownie and I will cherish this heavenly moment forever. I have never had such addicting, beautiful flavours which dominated my taste buds. Popping along to this little bakery has become a daily ritual for me, or as i call it the 'daily devouring' before work. In fact i have recently purchased a flat in 'derby' due to the summoning of such a brownie. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

My goodness these brownies are amazing…. Moist, fresh and there’s some really novel innovative recipes - I always make sure I get some when we visit Derby! My favourites so far have been the Frankenstein and the Lotus, but I look forward to trying more!

Tempted back to the Derbion for only the 2nd time during the pandemic. Both times have involved a stop at the Brownie shop.

This was ordered for myself and my mum as a surprise, what a lovely surprise it was too. Beautifully packaged, arrived as instructed. Sandwiches varied and beautifully fresh. Brownies, biscuits and cakes all delicious. Can’t wait to go in person.

We use this company at work for business meetings and order weekly. I’ve bought at home in the past and it’s been great. However on this occasion i was disgusted at the customer service we received. My partner is disabled and was unable to get to the door within 1 minute which we were told off for! The brownies were left outside on a public path (the company denies this) and the driver was gone. I contacted the company to inform them of the issue so it wouldn’t happen again as we intended on using their services in the future. I received a very rude message in return telling me not to use the company again and to take my business elsewhere. Great company if you want a brownie, but if something goes wrong, they will treat you disgustingly and tell you it’s your fault for not opening the door fast enough because you’re disabled!

Bought a brownie 'scotch egg', cookie dough brownie stack and cookie dough millionaires slice, all were really generous portions, very tasty and service was very good.- patient and informative.

OK was visiting Derby on the way through to Oxford and dropped in on the Inta shopping mall and was intrigued by this place. Looked amazing if you like brownies and cake. Me not so much but I did spot the Cookie Brownie Sandwich. Two mega thick cookies at the end spread with cream filling and a brownie in the middle. Normally not my type of thing but looked amazing,. So used to those things being so disappointing and a waste of,good calories - but thought we would give it a try and so got it to go. Back home in Oxford decided to give it a go apolutely gorgious!!!! How wrong was I - problem is it is now 135 km to get another and although delivery on line not as far as my post code..So just need to spread the word and help them build outlets elsewhere but not too close since I am sure my wasteline cannot afford it to often.

Took my mum here for afternoon tea for her birthday and we got plenty of sandwiches, lots of sausage rolls and a brownie and cookie dough, when we booked we was told we would be able toPick our own brownie but we didn't also I had a hot chocolate which was lukewarm at best and when I mentioned this was told its because its made with milk but anyother cafe I go to, they make it with milk and its hot. Would only go back for the brownies.

The amount of varieties of Brownies and other cakes is just amazing. I had a Crunchie Cheescake this time - a little more expensive than the average Brownie but so worth it. As mentioned before - the latte is good and in a large glass.

I love this place and go often. As someone who is lactose intollerant, I love that they have a selection of vegan brownies and my fella loves the non-vegan ones too. Most of the time I just pop in for takeout but have sat in a couple of times and love their peach smoothie. Prices are reasonable and staff friendly :)

The vegan brownies are to die for. Highly recommend trying them. They have a variety of non-vegan options too so you will be spoilt for choice.

I had tried the brownies from here as they held a stall for some time at uni and they were absolutely amazing, and so I also decided to visit the shop one day whilst shopping with my mum. I went for one of the strawberry cheesecakes and my mum went for the rainbow cake. It was delicious, and I would definitely have again!

I have visited many times on my lunch break(guilty pleasure!) They do sandwiches and toasties too which come with salad and crisps, I usually have a cuppa and a naughty brownie, I just can’t help myself they are so yummy! Staff are amazing too and can’t do enough for you. Can’t wait for my next visit!

The brownies from here are just gorgeous! So so delicious. A wide variety to chose from as well as cakes and pastries, hot and cold drinks. Big size brownies can take away or eat in. You can get a loyalty card, and you’ll want one cos you’ll keep coming back for more! Very reasonable prices.

Hello there the brownie shop is a delight to vist, has large array of items to choose from, which are too tempting to just leave empty handed. You need to really be there early in the day to get the best choice as they can and do sell out quickly of most items in the shop.

It's a small place tucked into a corner unit. The service is great and the variety and quality of cakey greatness knows no end! Much love is put into each brownie and slice of cake. The brownies are scrumptious and decadent. No filling is skimped on.

I absolutely love the brownies from here. Every time I venture in to town, I always go for my brownie fix. My favourite is mars bar, followed closely by Nutella. Although all of them are amazing. Rich, chocolates, gooey in the middle with a bit of crunch on the top.

I don’t normally review places but had to come on here to say wow the brownies from here are the best. The Lindt ones are incredible!

This bakery was amazing not only were the staff so lovely who worked there on the 13th March but there were so welcoming with us even though we were loud and a lot of us. I unfortunately didn’t get the girls name who was there but I would like thank her for being so nice and helpful and gave us ideas where to go on hen nights, she has brown hair and was about 5ft 5. She was a massive help and we decided to take her ideas and we are now going on quad biking for my friends hens and get away from the children

Regular visitor here to get Brownies for the kids. The smell when you walk in is fantastic as is the wide range of Browines and other treats on offer. The brownies are a good size and excellent value. Can’t recommend enough.

I had a cup of tea and a brownie inside. There aren't many tables and many people but takeaway brownies, but it was nice to be able to sit down. The staff are friendly, and the brownies are good.

Fabulous brownies. Great range of flavours. My favourite is actually the white chocolate Blondie. Only niggle is I've twice come home with a brownie in my bag to find it wasn't the flavour I'd ordered. Still tasted good though

I went to Brownie Points for the first time with friends after seeing its Easter egg milkshakes on Facebook - we were not disappointed. I thought that the items would be more of a novelty, but the quality was good and you got a lot for your money. The service could have been better, as it seemed like the first time they'd made this product, and the decor was a little cheap, but I was overall impressed and will be returning.

Fantastic, so much choice, the cheesecake's are to die for ! love the milkshake's you can even phone and order food to collect on your lunch which saves time and a loyalty card as well ! a little bit of paradise in the Intu !!

Lovely little place. Only come for the brownies so cant comment on anything else. The Mars Bar brownie is my fave! An added bonus is the points card, collect a stamp each time you buy a brownie! Only gripe is that you don't get a stamp when buying a gift box of brownies?? Bit harsh really!

Special brownies are amazing, my daughter is addicted. Would benefit from bigger premises as its extremely cramped. Was queuing up and folk were trying to eat inside and there was no room. They do have a loyalty scheme which is nice. Ladies are very friendly and it is very popular. Lindor brownie and Maltezer brownie are to die for!!! value for money and a nice treat

We called in for afternoon tea break. The Turkish delight brownie was amazing, the blondie, white chocolate brownie, was good too. Standard lattes and teas are good size, a bargain with the brownie and drink offer.
