Called in today for a couple of cobs bacon sausage and egg Sausage and egg £10.50 crazy not going there again crazy price

Very friendly and helpful staff. The food and the coffee was delicious. I had a cheese toasty on doorstop bread with plenty of salad and homemade coleslaw. Would definitely recommend and will be going there again soon.

Had 5 cooked breakfasts - the best in Spondon village! Butchers meat, fresh bread, hot on a heated plate. Pleasantly surprised and a good little find, would recommend the breakfast here.

I had a delicious small breakfast. The sausage and bacon were perfectly cooked. It is clear that they were supplied by a butcher rather than a mass produced product because they retained their size and shape after cooking. The doorstep toast, beans and mushrooms were tasty additions to the meal. I also had an interesting conversation with another customer which added to the friendly ambience within the cafe. It was a shame that I was pressed for time but what a wonderful choice I made to spend my break here.

Had lunch here and it was fab...I chose a fish finger sandwich which was beautifully presented on a board with a nice salad and crisps. Good service and friendly. Will return!

Fabulous little cafe which to my mind is a throwback to how a cafe should be. Nothing fancy here it is just spotlessly clean with minimal decoration but with friendly and welcoming staff. Breakfast was just what I needed, it came with doorstop buttered toast and it went down a treat.

Over the last 4 years I've passed this cafe on the bus while travelling into Derby and thought I will have to try it out when in Spondon. Today was the try it out day and I was blown away with the standard of food for an excellent price. The service was quick and in an excellently clean environment. The staff where fantastic, friendly and jolly. I definitely will come here again. Try it you will not be disappointed. Keep up the good work guys

Moved to Spondon three weeks ago and having visited just one more we are very impressed and will be eating here on a regular basis, food excellent and lovely staff

From the moment I walked into this lovely cafe, in spondon.. I suffer massively from social anxiety... The staff welcomed me in, on a cold day, i instantly felt at home.. one of the best flat white coffees I've had and lovely fresh cakes.. many thanks again xx

My wife and I come here maybe once a month. We would come once a week if we lived closer! It is definitely worth the drive! The food is always spectacular! And the service is definitely the best in the east Midlands! Couldn't recommend enough!! Just go and eat here!!!

Nice friendly staff and excellent food

Absolutely incredible food and fabulous service. Our first visit post lockdown. Josie has done an amazing job of refurbishing the cafe, it looks so good. I was very impressed with our lunch, presentation was 5 * and taste was amazing. No trip to Just One More is complete without dessert! I can confirm the best cakes are baked here, we had a slice of "Queen of Cakes" and a Nutella crepe, they were both scrumptious. Highly recommend a visit to this hidden gem. Thank you Leah for looking after us!

Had lunch today with friends, the food was lovely, the staff were friendly and it's a really nice relaxing space. The food was top quality and fresh, we didn't have room for cake but they looked so delicious that we decided to cake away 😋

Lovely meal in the back garden only spoilt by us taking the children. I would say this is a hidden gem as it is an unassuming place from outside yet the food is lovely, as are the staff.

Anyone apprehensive about eating out due to covid19 needn't worry here, as the staff do everything to make you feel safe and the hygiene level is of high quality indeed. Fantastic value food and the staff are really lovely people which makes dining here all the more enjoyable. The current road-works signage on the road the cafe is located on (11th July 2020) maybe misconstrued that it is not possible to drive past the cafe, which isn't the case as there is access and the cafe is fully open so why not go and treat yourself as we certainly will be again!

My friend recommended this café as he previously visited (just because he liked the name) and said it was really good. Once Lockdown was relaxed a little and being bored and desperate for a roast dinner I suggested to my friend that we go and visit just one more as they do a takeaway roast on a Sunday. This involved almost an hours drive from Staffordshire to Spondon. I put my order in via WhatsApp on the Friday and Josie was quick to respond and confirm the order. On arrival the café had been made COVID secure with a one way system and hand sanitizers available. The staff were very friendly and couldn’t do enough to make us feel welcome and valued. The team were able to accommodate putting the Sunday roast into separate trays for us and we ate it in the local park. The roast dinner was delicious and well worth the drive. I look forward to returning when the café is reopened for dine in. It’s great to see local businesses like this adapting so well to the unusual circumstances in the world and I wish Josie and the team success ! Thanks for the great dinner ☺️

What can I say, this is a little hidden gem in the middle of Spondon that I only found recently. It certainly exceeded my expectations, the staff are very welcoming, the owner Josie is particularly friendly. Onto the food and drink which is incredibly good value, at just under £7 you get 3 generous courses and service with a smile so top marks for that. The place was very clean and is currently undergoing a refurbishment so I look forward to returning very soon. I don't really know what else to say other than if you're in the area, please come and check it out, it will be worth it👍

Great quality food. Had a three cooked breakfasts and three hot drinks for under £20. Staff are warm and welcoming. No onsite parking as in main village but free public parking nearby. No big tables cozy little rooms. Recommended.

Nice little cafe in a great location.

Walking by decided a cup of tea was in order. 5 minutes to spare. Two cups of tea and shared a piece of cake. Very nice. Lady was very nice and helpful. Will go again.

Just One More strikes a comfortable balance with the feel of cosy cafe with the prices and generous portion sizes of a greasy spoon. The service was friendly and newspapers are available to read. Having been to breakfast here twice now I would recommend a visit if you're in the area, both times I had a vegetarian sausage cob with beans and hash browns in it and a pot of tea which came in at around a fiver (less so if you have a derby county season ticket) although be aware it is cash only.

Our small walking group’s second visit to Just One More, at lunchtime. All four of us had sausage cobs, two with eggs, one with tomato and one with mushrooms. Great tasting sausages and delicious with the egg! And where else can you get a great pot of tea for £1.20? Staff were friendly, helpful and the service was fairly quick. You’d hardly notice the cafe from outside, but it is well worth going in, for a good variety of lovely snacks and cakes and, of course, the friendly and helpful service.

We made our first visit to Just One More today whilst looking round the area, and it won't be our last visit. We arrived just in time for lunch which meant the café was really full which didn't really take too much as it's quite bijou. That didn't stop the lady running from finding us a nice table. I opted for the lunch menu (two courses £5.50 - Monday to Thursday) and had delicious home-made pea and mint soup and, one of my favourites, ham egg and chips. My wife opted for cottage pie from the main menu which, judging from the little bit she allowed me to taste, was also delicious. This is a little gem of a place and I personally will spend the next few years working my way through the menu.

The green Olive, now renamed 'Just One More', is a friendly local cafe serving good food freshly cooked. The menu is basic, but this is because the food is prepared as you order, not microwaved from frozen. Staff are friendly, and prices are reasonable. Well worth dropping in if you feel like a drink and maybe a bite to eat.

This cafe is by far the best cafe ever!!! We came in for a full English my husband made his own breakfast up bacon egg toast and beans. My son had a sassy milkshake with a malteaser cake. We had the best breakfast ever! I loved it that much that I want to buy the sausages they use from the local butchers !! I’m so impressed by the cafe and the service. Everyone is so friendly you feel at home. The meat is the best and good quality so which now means I’m going to use the local butchers! But if I had not have eaten here I would never have known. Josie your smashing it, I don’t know you but after having a brilliant breakfast at your cafe I told my dad who told me he worked with your dad for many years And you’ve done him proud! Thank you and this is now a place I want to come to all the time! Thank you to everyone that made me my husband and son feel welcome you girls have done spondon proud!!

Nice and friendly place only stopped off for a warm drink (christmas lights switch on) but the staff did go that extra mile with their services

What makes this place really special is the staff , they are kind and welcoming the food is really good and I love to give local business’s my money because they deserve it the most! these girls work really hard and should be very proud of them selfs! I will be a frequent visitor. And a massive thank you to the owner and staff who found my little dog in the streets and knocked on doors to find the owner which is me! They had just finished a long day at work and that was such a lovely thing to do! I hope you liked the flowers I sent! I will be a frequent visitor!!! The place is lovely but I'm afraid my veggie chilli I ordered was just cheap frozen veg and chilli powder (That's what it tasted like) you go into a 'cafe' and expect to pay cafe prices or get better than cafe good for your money?

The food was lovely! All the meat on the breakfast was from the butchers. At a reasonable price.....

Lovely Cafe located in the middle of Spondon Village - I had a breakfast which was really tasty I also sampled a milkshake which was lovely. The new owner Josie has put her heart and sole into making this cafe extra special and it shows in her dedication - can’t wait to come back x

Always a great way to start with a smile and follow that with a warm and friendly greeting and the staff here deliver that. Well laid out with good decoration this is a great addition to the village. Decent cup of coffee and the cakes looked moorish so might have to return to try them out.

The green olive is now called ‘ just one more ‘. The food is hot, tasty, and home made. Very friendly staff. I would definitely go again and the Sunday dinners , which you can have delivered if you can’t make it up to the cafe, are so tasty and the serving are very generous.
