The best restaurants in Wellingborough East Midlands

We visited for the first time last night and will most definitely be back. Absolutely amazing food, drink and extremely knowledgeable, friendly staff. We had a wonderful evening. We have eaten in many Michelin star restaurants and found the taster menu on par with them! We can’t believe we have only just discovered Ember! We were first to arrive and last to leave! Thank you all!

Lamb casserole is INSANELY tasty!!! Its a must try. Everything item was top quality including sauces, pita bread, beer (Efes), if you like fine dining its a MUST try. Thank you guys

Been a frequent visitor over the years, left a 5 star review 3 years ago. Things have changed. Food, excellent, didn't appreciate the member of staff sat at the grill playing videos full blast on their phone, louder than the piped music, very disrespectful. Also don't pay cash. Left £60 in the recipt wallet for a £48 meal, always leave a tip, but expected to be offered my change back, but no, no change given, £12 pocketed. Rather than have an argument I left and I just won't return. Shame, I considered it one of the best restaurants in wellingborough. 3 years earlier..... Excellent meal for 4, lovely people, highly recommended, definitely try the beetroot juice.

After using Millie’s for takeaway lunch at work I thought I would go and eat at the cafe, on arrival I found plenty of parking spaces and the cafe inside had a lovely, calm, family feel to it. The staff were helpful and friendly. The food was lovely and the portions were very generous

Wasn't open when it says it's open waste of time

This was my first time in here, but will not be my last, think this could be my new local place to grab a coffee, and bite to eat as it has a very relaxing atmosphere, really friendly staff offering delicious and good value food and fast service. The cakes were reasonably priced and all looked amazing, it was hard to choose! We shared a cinnamon bun between us three, yes it’s that big, absolutely gorgeous, served warmed. The baguettes were tasty and well filled, with a side salad which is something else, yum. Would highly recommend Ugly Mug and will be back.

The aesthetic was brilliant, the food quality was phenomenal, it gives me the original kerala theme! GOOD RECOMMENDATION !!
