The food was OK, but it's just the waiting for your food. apart from that, all good.

Myself and my teenage daughter stumbled on this place. The food was off the scale AMAZING. If you like Caribbean food I would struggle to see what more you could ask for.

Tried the Ackee and Salfish dumplings. Delicious. Curry chicken soft, change in order was communicated well. A bit more curry sauce needed but everything tasted good as home.

Good food but the wait! Unbelievable! Have had big orders from here before but in the past couple of years the service although very friendly, the wait times are off the charts. We tend to order for family get togethers so appreciate it’s a big order but last but one time we ordered well in advance- told a time to pick it up, had to wait a further 45 mins until it was ready! Last weekend we asked how long an order would take, 20mins- fine. Placed our order, paid, told it would be ready in 20-30mins, fine. Came back to collect our order and had to wait just over an hour to take it home!! Although they apologised and gave some freebies this was a ridiculous amount of time to wait. We noticed a lot of Uber / Just eat orders flying out so it looks like they prioritise these first. Another customer was waiting over an hour for his order- they forgot his Jerk chicken and offered him chicken soup instead. By 8pm they had started running out of food! Food- tasty, but they had runout of rice and peas so had to make do with plain rice. No goat on menu only mutton. Wasn’t spicy/ hot enough. They forgot to pack our Curry mutton roti. Went back. They apologised. Had to wait a further 15mins (on top of the hour wait from pick up time) for it to be made and packed. Dumplings were great, tasty and fab texture. Mac cheese was very nice. Jerk chicken meal was a hit. Salt fish Ackee was a hit too. Would we order from here again. Sadly no. The waiting times when you’re hungry really put us off, plus things missing off the menu or running out and a missing item. Shame as the business has some good food to offer, just needs to reevaluate how they can offer their best service to all customers not just the ones who deliver for them.if they can’t meet the times given to customers who collect they should be realistic and honest.

Friendly and welcoming staff. Food not so great, the jerk chicken was just a load of seasoning with sauce not authentic Jamaican, the vegetables were a little undercooked and had no seasoning. The jerk meal is supposed to come with plantain however comes with just two small plantains. For the price of the food it is not as worth it.

Hands down one of the best Goat Curries I've had! So full of flavour and the meat was super tender and juicy! Massively recommend!

Ordered a take away to be delivered between 6.30-7 never arrived. Called the restaurant at 7.15 to be told “uber couldn’t find your address so your order is here at the restaurant.” Was never called, messaged, emailed. Nothing. Restaurant then hung up on me and never advised how they were going to deliver my food. Do not use.

I haven’t received my food been waiting 2 hours

Good food, bad service. This is the second time ordering, both times the order was wrong. First we ordered 2 large meals, got medium meals. Second time, we got the correct size meal but it was missing the plantain and veg, plus it took 1.5 hours to arrive. Shame because the food its-self was really good but disappointed with the service. Long wait time would be ok if the orders where correct.

Been going here for our Caribbean takeaways for years.......always been authentic and delicious! Consistent care.....excellent service.......nothing is too much trouble! Good quality and quantity too. Never had a negative experience! They are our first go to for Caribbean food! Also the Caribbean Rum cake is to die for. The food is cooked well and tasty, but you better not be starving when you order as the delivery time is long. Nearly an hour and half before food was received. Driver was apologetic for long wait which I guess was acknowledged but improvements are needed in delivery time.

Absolute banging food! Especially the dumplings dipped in the browned chicken stew 😋😍 Delivery was almost 1.5hrs but well worth the wait. My fellas new go to nosh!

So glad to have finally found a good West Indian restaurant in Wellingborough. Having moved from London and being West Indian myself I’ve been missing the food however today I found this restaurant and I will be going back to try more of the menu.

As a West Indian I am very glad this restaurant is in town, good food good service.

Bought the Chicken Soup 🍲 there for my mum (she wasn't feeling well). Was good, full of chicken, vegetables and dumplings (Sat-day soup to me and you) 😉 will go there again when in mood for some food reminiscent of mum's cooking!

Disappointing. Large bone-in curried mutton meal had no meat, was flavorless and the same portion size as a regular boneless meal.

The restaurant has not yet made a bad dish. Whatever formula they are using to produce that authentic tasting caribbean flava is working. The portions are reasonable as well so I cannot complain about that. Good quality food where other competitors who provide the same food are not in the same class.

The only thing that let me down is the food portion sizes, I ordered a large which anywhere else is just a regular meal and I paid £15.50 for that privilege.

I recently used Caribbean Flava for my dad's funeral. Nothing was a problem for Rene. Her team arrived on time and were ready to serve delicious food at the time agreed. They catered perfectly for 300 people. The comments from the guests have been all positive. We had Curry Goat, Veg Curry, Fried Fish, Fried Chicken, Bar-b-q Chicken, Mac and Cheese, Rice and Peas and a number of salad options. I would recommend Caribbean Flava as you can trust what they say the will do, they will do. The portion sizes were good and there was also food left over for our guests to takeaway. Well done Caribbean Flava, you did us proud!

This ackee and salt fish was very different to what I’ve had from the same place. It appeared like all of the oil had been drained, so there wasn’t as much flavour unfortunately; but the previous time I ordered I was very satisfied. Maybe my preference is different to many others.

Food is good as always, the roti was full and had a good amount of meat which other restaurants usually skimp on, consistent quality!

Awful experience from a young girl that works in there! Did not acknowledge my request at all and completely ignored me as a paying customer. Her attitude was horrible and unfriendly. The food is lovely, too bad the attitude doesnt match!!!!

Food was great - always is, but the eta when we delivered was 25-40 mins. It was 1hr 50 minutes until it was delivered and that was after 3 calls to the restaurant to chase. Not their fault as the delivery driver had an issue on a previous delivery, but it’s a shame no one thought to call. 4xfried dumplings were missing from the order which they offered to drive out there and then, but we were already eating. Will definitely order again but I’ll make sure to collect!
