Lovely little gem 3mins off the A14. Owner/landlords are great and are happy for customers with campervans to stay over. One of the few left. Fantastic secret garden and safe area for kids to roam too. Definitely worth a visit

Stopped in for a lovely Sunday roast, and got to say we were impressed. Good quality food, good portion sizes, friendly staff.

Had sunday roast today , there was 3 of us , 1 had roast pork the other 2 had roast beef . The roast beef was very chewy with no flavour at all , I only had 2 roast potatoes on my plate and they tasted and looked like they had hardly been roasted long enough. You get carrots, broccoli, cauliflower cheese and a potato croquette and again all the vegetables on every plate had no flavour to them . One small jug of gravy between 3 people was not enough and had to ask for more also the gravy is a one gravy does all with no flavour . The yorkshire puddings came out and they were as flat as pancakes, would have expected a lot more flavour to the whole meal as each meal is £17.50 so overall a quite expensive plate of food.

Had a lovely roast dinner today. Good choice of meat. Lovely staff. Great atmosphere.

What a little find. Visiting pub en route to travels in motorhome ( parked overnight in quiet car park). The food was simply outstanding, made even better by the warm welcome and friendly staff. I suppose the special (free dessert Wednesday helped). But seriously, the acid test is would I visit again? Without a doubt. Well done the whole team.

As kind of lost french people, we've been warmly welcomed and had a really good and healthy meal ! Ciders and beers were all good. Baby guiness is the go to Shot !

Place was very nice had Sunday dinner,the dinner was very nice ,was not enough vegetables,you got 3 roast potatoes 2 pieces broccoli 1piece coliflower and a Yorkshire pudding then your meat ,for a man you needed more veg ,quit dear for what you got .

The 2 of us enjoyed lovely tender and tasty fillet steaks at the Overstone Arms tonight. Attentive service. Even better it was Thursday steak night with 20% off! Can't wait to go back for another one.

A lovely dog friendly pub/restaurant run by nice people. Lots of menu choices. Sadly prices seem to have risen quite a bit since we were last there. My parents chose the sausage & mash and my partner had the veggie version. When their meals arrived they looked like kids meals, very small. I luckily chose a jacket potato which was a good size and came with a salad. So for the price the meals should have been a lot larger and the price of the desserts was steep too. Apparently the food tasted average, so sadly I don't think we will be going back, which is such a shame as it is a lovely place.

Made very welcome when we arrived Excellent food,freshly prepared with good service. A couple of hand pulled beers Marston's and Tim Taylors and also come really lovely cider. Family friendly , dogs allowed in bar and outside. Big garden with children's play area. Best to reserve a table. Last food order 8pm . Will go again.

I cannot say a bad word about the overstone arms. We held a gathering for my partner for her birthday and they accommodated for it in the best possible way. The pub was perfect, the staff were second to none, faultless. 100% recommend Many thanks

Food was excellent, but the service left a lot to be desired. The chef cannot count. I was supposed to have 7 spicy chicken but only got 6 and when mentioned it? Nothing was done.

First visit here since the establishment re-opened after being closed for some time. I really like the "secret garden" addition. It really compliments the pub and provides extra seating capacity. The menu looks great and I had no trouble choosing something lunch. Good quality and friendly personable service. Well done 🙂

Was made to feel really welcome when we arrived. We have parked up in the canpervan for the night. Food was delicious we highly recommend as a pub stop over.

I can't see how any other restaurant could be better that this. Phil the chef is passionate about the food he cooks and the ingredients he uses, that being very apparent when he came and spoke to us. Food was perfect, service was friendly, everywhere was clean including the toilets, a nice old pub with garden and parking, looking forward to going back.

Stayed overnight in my camper in their car park. The staff were excellent and cooked me dinner (yummy beef casserole) on Sunday evening, even though the restaurant was closed at the time. After I had set up my camper after dinner I returned to the bar and enjoyed a quiet nightcap and chat with the landlord. I was made to feel very welcome, the food was good and the whisky selection was marvellous!

We used to visit Phil at Bells Kitchen in Finedon. Still regularly visit now he has the overstone arms. Him and his team work tirelessly to provide a warm and friendly atmosphere, amazing food and great drinks. We visited today - 8 adults and 2 young children, for our family Christmas get together with the various generations of our family. The food was amazing - no one had a single complaint. The service was top notch and the staff can’t do enough to help you. It doesn’t matter if it’s a quick drink, bar snack, light lunch or a full on family meal, Phil and his team will make your visit perfect

Absolutely marvelous all round. Had Sunday roast and the gammon was amazing,all home cooked. Lovely atmosphere and each and every staff member was cheery and polite. Can't wait to go back very soon.

First visit here for lunch. Was very impressed with the selection of food on offer. Lunchtime special £13 for two courses. I had a jacket potatoes with chilli side salad and home made coleslaw. It was excellent. The staff were very and very efficient. The surroundings were lovely. Will definitely be returning.

Arrive 7:25pm for a table booked for half 7. And closed. Ridiculous, why even accept our booking?? Doors locked.

Thought we’d try somewhere different to our normal places but were really disappointed. Service was polite and prompt however starter and main were poor , didn’t finish either. Wondered if it was just me unlucky but other tables plates not finished going back . Might have been an off day for chef but food was way off the quality of our usual pubs/restaurants

Wonderful quiz night raising money for Parkinson UK!

A big thank you to the staff at the Overstone Arms who laid on a fabulous buffet this week for my mother's wake. The food was incredible and nothing was too much trouble. This was my first visit to this lovely pub in its delightful setting but it won't be my last.

Really nice garden and food was fine, nothing wrong with it. Service was slow and disorganised.

Great quality and fair priced bar snacks brought to you from the restaurant which is a separate business. Friendly and welcoming staff and ambience.

Stunning building:, Front of house vrry welcoming, Chef couldn't have been more accommodating our party had a little boy in, Chef came out & said would we like a small plated roast made up so he could have it the right temperature for him & he would get his meal the same time as us. What a wonderful experience! Highly recommend the Sunday toast dinner here. We had the vegan options and everything was exquisite. The staff were exceptional and went out of their way to make sure everything was great for us, including for our little boy. We'll definitely be back there soon!

Collected 2 lovely meals for Mother’s Day, the food was lovely & hot, great portion size & truly yummy Would highly recommend ordering or when rules are relaxed a visit to the Bell Inn

Ordered online easy to do and collected dead in time. Had the option of flowers which was taken. All the food beautifully cooked just the right amount and hot good portion size for pudding too. All locally sourced I believed and the flowers from local Finedon Buds and Blooms were beautiful as well.

Wonderful meal for 4 delivered personally by chef Phil. Once again the food was fantastic..never fails. Phil even rang during the day after we had placed our order to see how we wanted the steak cooked. Wanted a small treat but not allowed out. Wanted to eat something beyond normal take away/delivery. Saw listing for Bells Kitchen. How have we lived here for5 years and not discovered this gem? They offer a Sunday Roast Dinner with a small delivery charge. We ordered Saturday evening but you have until 11:00 Sunday morning. Ordered 2x Roast Pork Dinners with vegetables delivery for 13:00 Sunday. Smack on the button our doorbell went and there he was our dinner in a bag. We opened the food and found great portions that were hot and very tasty. Just what we wanted.I really can not recommend highly enough. The price for two great main courses of good ssize tasty and delivered was £25 that was great valuue

We had a brilliant Covid 19 compliant wedding reception here. They really thought about how to set up the room so that we could all see and talk to one another whilst maintaining our individual groups. The food was excellent and the service outstanding. 🤓

We booked our table (and pre-booked our steaks) based on a recommendation. We weren't disappointed! Superb service and steaks that were the best we've tasted. Desserts were super-yummy too! A cosy atmosphere and good prices completed our perfect eat-out-evening! Oh, and a chat with Chef who chose to leave the kitchen (a pretty rare sight these days!) to check we'd enjoyed our meal. I can't recommend Bell's Kitchen enough, and we're definitely coming back for more of everything. Fantastic!

Fantastic food, good service/organisation. Really nice to find really good food as a takeaway. We turned up at the agreed time (we ordered online but were contacted to agree a time)and our food was brought out. It looked a very safe place to visit too.

Today, my wife and I visited Bell’s Kitchen in Finedon for Sunday lunch. We have been several times previously but before the current Pandemic problem. The staff wore face masks, took our temperature and sanitizers were available. Patrons were encouraged to book their arrivals in 15 minute arrivals as well.Once again the meal was superb. My wife had the roast lamb whilst au opted for the pork. Nicely prepared with fresh vegetables in ample quantities.We decided to have a desert each: a lemon meringue for my wife and an apple and pear crumble with custard. Delicious!The restaurant are obviously having to regulate numbers because of distancing but the atmosphere was still good and the waiters and chef all coming round to ensure you were satisfied with the meal and service

Two of us went on a Wednesday night. We had crispy prawn and prawn cocktail, lasagne and chicken breast stuffed with haggis, apple and pear crumble and sticky toffee pudding. House white wine and Merlot from Chiie. It was excellent and very good value. Attentive and discreet service and a good atmosphere overall, it was quite busy for a mid week.We will go again.

We have eaten out twice in the past 2 weeks in the restaurant area here only recently finding this hidden gem. The steaks were delicious on our first visit. On the second visit we had a 3 course meal which was also a tasty treat. Can’t wait to try a Sunday lunch next !!

The title says it all really. A lovely meal in a friendly, comfortable atmosphere. In the words of Arnold Swarzeneggar "I'll be back".

Went with Husband and two friends on a Wednesday evening, and took advantage of the "Eat out to help out" scheme, we had the most delicious steaks, the restaurant was busy and it was a very hot evening but the safety measures and service was excellent, one of our friends steak wasn't cooked to his liking, however Phil cooked him another meal without hesitation, we are returning next week!

Popped in the Bell for a meal out just because, and ordered the Burger with blue cheese and all I can say is awesome, proper blue cheese topping with every mouthful was an explosion of flavour right until the last bite.The handmade chips were just right, and the homemade coleslaw matched the burger perfectly.Coupled with a lovely pint of ale and you cannot bet it. A lovely place to visit and have a meal.

Meal 10 out 10. , We live 5mins away from The Bell ,and knowing we can book a week in advance to suit our plans is very handy.

Welcoming staff in the pub and restaurant, great selection of beverages available Fantastic menu choice in the restaurant, friendly and helpful staff, very nice head chef to chat to about the dishes and news about the “dine out to help out” deals happening in August 2020. During lockdown we saw a friend's post on Facebook and thought - that looks good, Sunday roast without the washing up!After that first time, we have one every week, and even purchase extra, to freeze, so that our parents can have one also.Great choice, lamb, beef, pork, chicken or vegetarian. Accompanied by a Yorkshire pudding, three roast potatoes, a potato croquette, three different vegetables and gravy.Great customer service.

we visited for sunday lunch, the food was very well presented and very enjoyable.. The social distancing procedures are very good, with minimal inconvience to the customer. It was a very enjoyable experience, would highly recommend.

We were slightly nervous as this was one of the first times we had been out for dinner since lockdown however, we had absolutely nothing to worry about. The measures that have been put in place certainly make you feel at ease: temperatures taken on arrival, hand sanitiser, gloves worn by staff and food arrives on a trolley! The food was amazing! Steak was cooked to perfection, you get great value for money. We couldn’t finish it all...overall really enjoyed the evening in one of England’s oldest pubs! Will definitely be back! Thank you :)

We have just devoured the most amazing lockdown meal of sea bass and casserole. It was by far the tastiest food that I have eaten since a visit to Michael Roux about 10 years ago and definitely on a par. It was beautifully cooked and very tasty. We will definitely visit again and cannot wait until the easing of lockdown to experience the true range of their menu.Thank you very much.

I can’t applaud Phil and the team at Bells Kitchen enough for the takeaway service they are providing during lockdown. My family and I have had the Wednesday takeaway box deal for the past 3 weeks, this has been our weekly family treat and it never fails to disappoint. Great quality food, lovely presentation, served hot and on time at great prices, what more could you ask for?! I hope the takeaway service continues after lockdown - very happy customer.
