The Little R’ale house is a fantastic day out. It’s located right next to the platform at Wellingborough station. There is a really good selection of craft beers and ciders available. The actual bar is a very small building that is just large enough to swing a cat in. This adds to the charm of the place, there is extensive outside seating available. A word of warning, the toilets are only available at the station building only. This is really worth a day out.

I love this place. A small real ale bar outside Wellingborough station based in what was previously a storage building (they kept the safety detonators for track workers there, among other things. Mary is friendly and helpful. It’s dof-friendly too, which is a big plus in my view. There’s always a really good selection of well kept real ales. And the locals are happy to chat or leave you be if that’s your preference. It’s a tiny place - seats maybe 12 inside plus some standing, and there is outdoor seating if the weather’s right. It’s rightly a CAMRA award winner. If you’re passing by, DO check it out.

What an absolute gem of a drinking hole, perhaps one of the most unique and pleasurable spots I’ve been to in a long time. Tucked away at the end of one of the station platforms it’s easy to miss, but take the wander and you’ll be treated to really welcoming service and great prices across a range of real drinks, with more recognisable options in bottles in the fridges too. The inside space is tiny but there’s a good number of tables outside which is a delight on a nice day, and they’ve even gone to the effort of keeping the outdoor space decorated nicely. Every time I get the chance I’ll be returning here!

Arrived at Little R’ale House for the first time last night and loved the whole vibe about this quaint place. A wonderful welcome from Mary and was introduced to several people, including some locals. As I’m only a ten minute walk it’s bound to be my local now 👍🏼 Great place and with fantastic hospitality and very welcoming. Will be visiting as regular as I can. Also, a very strange experience to bump into another Luton Town fan in there after we had both been to the game that afternoon. Small world especially as one chap recognised me from The Great Northern in Luton!! Look forward to enjoying an Ale or ten in there again very soon. Well worth a visit. 🎩🧡

Still a great place to sit and watch the trains too and is popular with rail and ale enthusiasts (and everyone else, of course) alike. Has a nice little garden with some lovely shrubs and flowers.
