The Sandwich Shop in Wellingborough

Food was amazing and atmosphere was also very nice.

Beautifully clean, welcoming and comfortable. Good variety of plants to admire. Amazing Asian music (and great singing). I ordered chai (not on the menu) and had a wonderful hug in a cup. My prawn and mayo sandwich was super fresh and great quality ingredients. Looking forward to trying the Samosas!! The staff could not be more helpful and we're happy doing what they do- and it shows. I will return anytime I have free time in Wellingborough.

It was really good shop for nice lunch & curry

We had a large buffet lunch for about 40 people for a work event from The Sandwich Shop. It was a large order including sandwiches and a selection of indian dishes (including, of course, the famous delicious samosas!) so Chandra needed a few days notice to ensure they were able to undertake it. From beginning to end Chandra and her husband were professional and understanding. They advised what would be best to ensure all attendees would be happy with the food... and they were right! There were attendees from different backgrounds and heritage and the feedback was fantastic, even the person who didn't like spicy food gave it a try and enjoyed it! So again, thank you Sandwich Shop - you've done it again! Great to be supporting a local business and we will be first through your doors when you open your new restaurant on Herriotts Lane !!!

THE place to stop for lunch in Wellingborough! The Samosas are AWESOME, and freshly cooked daily, and the baguette sandwich was brilliant. I had to buy two extra samosas after lunch for my long drive home. Very very friendly and welcoming staff. Forget all of the chain places, forget Aldi over the road, this is the place for lunch!

A colleague told me he regularly visits The Sandwich Shop to buy the samosas at lunchtime, he referred to them as "amazing" and the baguettes are lovely too. So I called up and spoke to the lovely lady who cooks them to discuss potentially ordering a batch for a meeting. She was so friendly and welcoming. When I placed my order the following week she remembered me and my name. I ordered 15 samosas for my meeting and arranged a time to collect. They were freshly made and ready at our agreed time. The attendees at the meetings were very impressed with the samosas. They were lovely, big and not too spicy. So thank you Sandwich Shop we will be ordering again in the future. Definitely a hidden gem of Wellingborough.
