Ordered online via Bigfoodie platform expecting meal to be delivered. This was not the case as I ended up having to collect. Food wasn't ready at given collection time & had to wait for 10/15 mins. Food was ok (Ribs very fatty & fried rice seemed to have as many peas as rice - not keen on peas in my rice) but nothing to shout about & certainly not worthy of the praises sung by others. Perhaps I have too many fond memories of when old Tom held the reigns of Spalding's first Chinese Restaurant.

Loved this local bookshop, I came in for breakfast and of course left with a book too. They also had a great selection of gifts and funny cards as well as so many books from so many genres. Really friendly and helpful staff and breakfast with a coffee was amazing. It’s definitely more than just a bookshop which I love, I could’ve spent all day inside. I’d never been to Spalding before but I’d definitely come back for this independent bookshop!

Whoever was in store cooking 15/5/25 between 4 and 5pm, needs a lesson in reading. I wasn't going to review, but this is the 6th time out of 7 orders where the main part that makes the pizza amazing has been forgotten. In general, I really enjoy this branch's pizzas. Always tasty, always polite and courteous and really great drivers. But there has been a pattern where one or maybe more of their employees either can't count, can't read or are choosing not to read and check the order properly. I order the same pizza EVERY TIME. A large create your own FOUR TOPPING fir £14. I always order (bbq sauce, reduced fat cheese. 4 Toppings are ground beef, tandoori chicken, olives and that elusive BURGER SAUCE. 5 times in a row, I have had to call to state that my pizza is MISSING the burger sauce. The 6th time I ordered, it came with it because I purposely called the store after ordering to tell them "not to forget the burger sauce, because it wastes my time and their time and money having to correct it." This time, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and ordered my usual. Lo and behold, I opened the box and look...NO BLOOMING BURGER SAUCE!!! So I call up, I get the standard apology and the offer to remake. But not remake my order, remake a CHEESEBURGER pizza to make sure I get the sauce. I feel the tone is a little sarcastic towards the end by telling me "it costs the company money but the customer is always right". But I leave it and now waiting. After I realise the reason I don't order the cheeseburger is because I can't eat onion and the gherkins upset my tummy. If I wanted a cheeseburger pizza, I would have ordered it and previously they have remade my actual order. It's such a waste of food too because we can't eat 2 pizzas in our house. On top of costing their business time and money, just because an employee can't check their order. Just received my "replacement" which is the wrong size (I ordered large and it's a medium that's arrived) and the sauce is so saturated, I think it was their way of being sarcastic with a pizza. Photo attached. I feel like who ever is in charge doesn't actually care because if they did, they wouldn't allow such silly mistakes. It takes a lot to get me to the point I'd put anything negative as I prefer to say nothing, if it's not nice. But maybe by doing this the person making this constant mistake can be retrained. This is a luxury for some of us and you should take more pride to get it right first time. Anyway. Hope this helps someone. Such a shame,because when it's right, it's good.

Popped in Saturday lunchtime Extensive menu. Friendly lady serving. But it took 45 minutes for chicken/ steak dishes to arrive which delayed us Food was nice enough and fresh. But 3 stars is because of delays

I booked a table on the 26th January for the 12th of February. I had confirmation email by the 28th of January for my booking. Friday 11th February I had a reminder email about my booking it also says they are looking forward to meeting us. Today I get an email saying they are cancelling my booking and they have been tried to contact me. Rubbish no other emails and no phone calls. I spoke to two mangers both very unprofessional one kept calling me darling the other didn't care that they had ruin my weekend with friends that were travelling 3 hours to join us for what we hoped was a lovely meal. I was told the booking shouldn't of been taken as they have a private event. When I questioned them about still advertising valentines weekend I was told it was just for Sunday and Monday. But on there website and menu it clearly states Friday to Monday valentines special. I wouldn't go here now if they paid me and judging by other reviews we have had a lucky escape. I now have a table booked at a different restaurant The Crystal Inn I have eaten there before staff management and food 5 star.
