The best restaurants in Radford and Park Nottingham East Midlands

Had some of the best food I have ever eaten last night @theseafoodguyuk. I was a bit doubtful as there have been a lot of gushing comments on Insta about this place. But it lives up the hype... Phrases like hidden gem are overused... But this is the full treasure chest. Every dish was delicious and the portions are full plates not small plates, meaty ribs, fat scallops everything perfectly seasoned I love Sichuan spice and thus was up there with the best . It's definitely not just seafood either lots of chicken, beef and pork dishes . But the seafood is amazing, my mate and I agreed we are heading back very soon for the whole crab which we didn't have cos we wanted to try a few different dishes. Reports from other tables were that it was sensational. There are pictures on the menu so you know what to expect but they don't do the food justice. The food for the two of us 3 big dishes plus rice was less than £40. We had leftovers and are both big eaters. We got a decent bottle of wine to share which was reasonable too. They have some great meal deals on with mains, drink and rice for about £15 and cheaper at lunchtime. It's less than 10 minutes walk from Nottingham Station and you get beautiful views up to the Castle as you walk there. The staff are lovely and helpful if you are stuck on what to choose. Go there now.

Had dinner. It wasn't that good, could have been better.

Here on a night out with the Irish society and the staff were lovely had some great craic highly recommend

Ordered on uber eats about 25 minutes before closing time, a oreo cookie dough and it arrived very overcooked, couldn’t break into it with a fork, had to use both of my hands to snap it in half. Will not be ordering from here next time.

Great service and really tasty. A nice surprise. Sweet and sour chicken. Chicken chow mein and salt and pepper prawns. Delicious

Didn't get the second baguette I ordered

Vinimos para una noche de citas especial para celebrar nuestro aniversario. Tuvimos bebidas en la terraza, que era encantador, el servicio era lento, sin embargo, estábamos bastante relajados al respecto. Estábamos un poco abrumados por la comida, creo que porque históricamente el lugar ha tenido tan buena reputación que esperábamos más. Es triste que este lugar ha cerrado, pero en base a nuestra experiencia probablemente no habríamos regresado.

Went here for valentines and the atmosphere was ok, however, despite there being alot of staff hanging around, it took nearly 45 minutes to get a starter and this was only because they came over to see if we wanted another drink. The food was servicable but the lamb was very overcooked and not tender and chicken was a little dry. They had set meals and for 2 it came to £85 + tip (which they automatically applied and did not deserve). Took about 2 hours to have a starter and main and it wasn't overly busy. Would not recommend and will not be going again

3rd time I’ve been to this restaurant and not disappointed it’s been around along time that speaks for itself. Good night out 👍

visited for Mother’s Day and were happy with the food. The hog roast rarebit was delicious, and the burger was good. Mum said the lamb and mint pie was lovely too! Lovely atmosphere with lots of outdoor seating, perfect for warmer weather.

Just ordered via uber eats. Extremely disappointing by the food I would rate it a zero if I could. Ordered the phatville slider meal the chicken in the bun was so small that not even half the bun was filled basically one small tender in the bun. The meal had chips included.. was extremely cold and stale. If it was just cold would have been OK because they were stale they were rock hard and inedible. NEVER again from here

ABSOLUTELY DEVASTATED!!!! I raved about this place to my friends from home after going every other month. However, when I had given them high hopes and we went to Mollis 2 days ago the recipes had changed????? The burger brioche buns had been replaced by bread slices and the chicken burger tasted so different and bland???? I was in shock. When I last went a couple of months ago the flavours were outstanding in the Nashville burger, with delicately crafted flavours. Although they are bigger now, they have completely lost their delicate and exceptional flavour. I'm not sure if more chicken has been put in but the saying is true: IF IT ISN'T BROKEN, DON'T FIX IT. Go back to the good old flavourful burgers as this was a massive letdown and I doubt I will come back as regularly, perhaps only for the chips and wings.

Wouldn’t recommend, realised this place had a different name some time back and the service is still the same. Horrible customer service, the people who work in there will just stare at you as you walk in,The supposed owner (lady) talks about customers in her language, lol not really accommodating to non Nigerians ..Seemed to be only customer friendly to people they knew as they were hugging, laughing and raising their arms just where the food was 🙆🏾‍♀️. I would like to assume the food is cooked and frozen as the food l had showed that had to ask for it to be heated up(just read multiple people reported food poisoning after having their food) the food was dry and burnt too. If you want to try Nigerian food don’t let this the first place you try otherwise you will never attempt it again.The atmosphere was meh, you have people speaking really loud (sat far from everyone so had slim chances of someone spitting into my food ) even the lady serving will shout out to a customer sat down waiting for their food to remind her what they ordered. Aesthetically ok. Busy road but loads of parking options . Reply : hi CEO …….your response is not even close to what good customer service is meant to be which makes sense to what l experienced at your restaurant. You shouldn’t be defensive and dismissive as from other reviews you can tell I’m not the only one who has experienced this. The lack of empathy, failure to address the key issue and unprofessional language “what do you expect of the atmosphere, Did you not enjoy the meal “ 🙆🏾‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️ It doesn’t matter whether it’s Valentine’s , Christmas or a birthday celebration , if your restaurant values their customers ,it shouldn’t change on any day . I stand corrected if you were not The Compatriot 2023/ early 24 👀 . My review was not to compare you to any other restaurant, l was sharing my own experience .And no my review is not personal as l do not know you ,the way you rushed to be defensive shows you know when and what happened (l didn’t state the date l came ,lol) . You really missed the opportunity to turn a negative experience into a positive one, which is key in hospitality. Thank you
