Mollis in Nottingham

ABSOLUTELY DEVASTATED!!!! I raved about this place to my friends from home after going every other month. However, when I had given them high hopes and we went to Mollis 2 days ago the recipes had changed????? The burger brioche buns had been replaced by bread slices and the chicken burger tasted so different and bland???? I was in shock. When I last went a couple of months ago the flavours were outstanding in the Nashville burger, with delicately crafted flavours. Although they are bigger now, they have completely lost their delicate and exceptional flavour. I'm not sure if more chicken has been put in but the saying is true: IF IT ISN'T BROKEN, DON'T FIX IT. Go back to the good old flavourful burgers as this was a massive letdown and I doubt I will come back as regularly, perhaps only for the chips and wings.

Do NOT order delivery from their website. They use a weird third party for their food deliveries and your driver does not have a number you can contact them on. My driver was untrained, got lost, did not read delivery instructions printed onto the receipt taped to the bag, and spent 30 mins driving my food in a circle around town before I used the map to track him down past my street and down 2 side streets to retrieve my food otherwise idk whether it would've ever been "delivered". I called Mollis and they said "once the food has left our kitchen it is out of our hands" as if they cannot send a new batch of food or choose their own delivery service? Shoutout to Eliza and her embarrassing levels of customer service skills, very baffling response. Restuarant is fine though, they're kind of outside of town.

Expensive but good food. The chicken burgers seem to have more unique flavors than the chicken tenders but it depends on your taste. The loaded fires are quite good, too.

We have had takeaway from Mollis a number of times and it's always great! Love the honey chilli wings!

We got engaged in Alchemilla next door and when they told us they’re opening a more informal fried chicken and cocktail place, we were excited to give it a go! Finally got round to it on my birthday and the chicken was good. The chicken burgers were good, love the brioche and the patty was made of juicy chicken thighs. If you’re craving a good chicken burger then it’s a shout but it is a little far out of town… would I purposely come here over the other fried chicken joints? Not so sure. We also got the aubergine, loaded fries and some wings on the side. The star of the show really was the wings for us. The batter on it was excellent and still juicy. Personally the interior setting felt a bit like a canteen, very informal but I thought there would be more to it. The graffiti art weren’t my cup of tea but I didn’t mind it. Sadly I didn’t like the oolong soft serve, there wasn’t enough sweetness to it - didn’t help that I didn’t like the blackberry compote! My husband’s cinnamon roll software on the other hand… that was delicious. We will be back for the wings and cinnamon bun soft serve.

Fantastic little place, run (I think) by the same culinary brains at Alchemilla down the road (which is amazing btw). Mollis is a kind of upscale chicken shop with a twist, check out their website for the backstory, but it's fried chicken and chips with a range of really awesome takes and influences. There's not really a lot to compare it to, but it feels surprisingly good value for what it is. Small and cozy, excellent friendly service, small but fun menu. Cocktails are interesting and excellent too. Star for me were the okonomiyaki fries - I love okonomiyaki and wasn't sure if it would work, but it absolutely slaps. Definitely worth a visit!

Cant recall better fried chicken, even in the states. Real thought has gone into balance of flavour. Cocktails are really good & cater for the adventurous. For fast food, it's very very impressive.

First time visiting, and it was mega! Ordered a burger each and fries to share and it was plenty, but people around had so much more and it looked amazing! Price wise, as you'd expect for eating out but portion size well worth it!

Had an amazing meal, and drinks here and my family thoroughly enjoyed their food too. Server was polite, attentive and chatty too which only added to the experience! Heartily recommend! Personally I tried the katsu burger and buffalo fries; big thumbs up to both but especially the burger.

We came here for a date night and loved each of the items we ordered. The Togarashi Chicken Crackling to start, set the mood for the meal. The Thai pesto & satay and Salt & pepper, hot honey chicken tenders were great! The ice cream to finish was a highlight for me. We will definitely be back again!

Second time visiting and excellent both times. Punchy flavours which are totally unique. Amazing cocktails. Don't understand the negative reviews. Not overly expensive, but guess this is subjective. lol at the review saying the chicken was undercooked - this will be colour due to the brine. Do you really think a Michelin starred kitchen would fail at NVQ level 1 food safety? Anyway, highly recommend a visit.

Great food! Ordered the Katsu chicken sandwich and it was incredibly tasty! At 3pm on a Saturday we were the only ones there though but meant the food came quick! Great food and pleasant staff!

My second time here and a great experience with top notch service! Fun sweet cocktails and chicken is next level! Desert menu is also fabulous.

Meh...the food is nice. I shared 2 burgers, wings and fries. Overall it was nice, but nothing special. For the price I would definitely try somewhere else. The soft serve ice-cream for me was just ok, but the homemade Oreo was great. The staff are nice and the drinks came quickly, but when it came to taking our order we sat there for 15mins waiting, other tables got their orders in before us after they had arrived after, which is very annoying. The atmosphere is nice, and the restaurant was very kid friendly with lots of families present when we went. Overall not really worth the hype, and for the money I would not come back.

Best chicken burger bar none. Had the truffle bechamel Lincolnshire poacher with the lightest fluffiest most tasty brioche I've ever had. Chicken tenders with Thai pesto delicious and the wings with gochugang , pineapple and blue cheese amazing. Batter on chicken delightful and tasty beer. Sorry about the spilled soft serve .

Outstanding food and flavours, all food served was piping hot as well. If you can fit it in the icecream is also outstanding. Only downer is the piss take included 10% service charge.

Poor service, they initially approached us when we had just arrived at the table. We requested additional time and they subsequently took 45 minutes . Furthermore, it was not even busy. The fried chicken was flavorless and excessively moist. The soggy chicken burger that tasted akin to mould was similarly unfortunate. While the decor was acceptable, ultimately it is overpriced and tastes mediocre.

This is a review that spans across 2 visits. First visit had good fried chicken but slow service. Prices were high but I get it for the novelty and hipster vibe in there (graffiti on the walls, etc). The drinks took a long time and about 45 minutes between starters and main for food. When we asked if the food was coming they said something about how things come at different times… okay, but it hasn’t come out at all? Despite the service I decided to book a reservation with my partner for a Saturday night. Arrived to find my “name was in the system but no table was booked”. Maybe I didn’t follow the last step through in the reservation? I don’t know but I had given credit card details and obviously was in the system for a reason (had never booked with them before so it wasn’t from a past time) We were told they couldn’t fit the 2 of us in at all and perhaps we could order through Uber Eats instead. Awesome, exactly what you want to do on a Saturday night… get takeaway and eat it outside in the cold. Never got a response from Mollis when I sent them an email 2 weeks ago so won’t be back. There are plenty of good fried chicken places opening up or already existent There seems to be no views on this post in a month which’s makes me wonder if it is purposely hidden

Instead of the crispy, golden exterior that tantalises the taste buds, the chicken arrives at the table soggy and overly moist. 🌊🤢 This lack of crispiness not only detracts from the overall enjoyment of the meal but also leaves you angry that you’ve paid over 10 British Pounds for soggy fried chicken😢 🍗 *We understand chicken thighs are the juicier portion of meat but this was not enjoyable at all* The pesto🌿 inspired garnish was incredibly disappointing. One would expect a burst💥 of vibrant flavours from the adventurous pairing but instead was met with bland 🥱and earthy impression that lacked the fundamental taste of the chicken itself! You cannot pick the burger up without it falling to pieces as the bottom of the bun disintegrates from the soggy oil!! 💦 One positive that can be taken from the meal was the BBQ & Miso Ranch loaded fries 🍟Surprisingly the fries were crispy while still managing to hold up the heap of sauces and bacon bits!🥓 Given the considerable anticipation surrounding Mollis Fried Chicken, it's disheartening to find that the reality doesn't match the expectations🫠. The overrated nature of the establishment became apparent as one realises that the culinary experience falls short of the lofty praise often heaped upon it by its close connection with Alchemilla. 🔗🫂 In conclusion, while Mollis Fried Chicken may have its fervent supporters, for those seeking a truly exceptional fried chicken experience, it may be best to look elsewhere🗣️❌. With bland flavors and soggy texture, this restaurant fails to deliver on the promise of an unforgettable dining adventure. 🚫

Good food The ice cream is so goated

If chicken has a million of fans i am one of them, if chicken has ten fans i am one of them. If chicken had only one fan it would be me. If the world is against chicken , i am against the world . As someone who eats chicken at least 6 days a week I have consumed it in countless dishes , , various forms and different flavours . Some have been good , some have been bad , some have been exceptional but none and I mean none have been better than Mollis. I had the classic fried chicken burger , wings and some fries with some Parmesan with the delectable hot honey . My eyes teared up towards the end as I approached my final bite, had I not been there with friends I would have wept . So much flavour , amazing portions , I don’t have a superlative to describe how much I enjoyed this meal that could do Mollis justice . If you don’t like chicken as much as me then just go for the music and the vibes , I don’t know who curated the playlist but they have fine fine taste . Listening to the sounds of Nas along with scrumptious chicken was as close to heaven on earth as it can get . Last but most certainly not least thank you to the staff , they were attentive , cool and very welcoming . I am strongly considering moving to Nottingham just so I can go to Mollis every week . Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Love this place! The juicy fried chicken is the best, served with creative flavours and funky ingredients. The cocktails follow the same creative flow and you just have to finish with the soft serve ice cream.. From the moment you walk in the door and see the eye watering graffiti decor where there's always something new to spot, to the food and quality of staff, its an experience and the prices are great considering the quality.

Very overpriced and overpowering flavours. Didn’t taste any chicken in a chicken based restaurant as everything was over powered by pretentious flavours. £7 for a 440ml beer, £12.50 for a double rum and coke. Very disappointing.

You think you've had good chicken before in life, and then you come to mollis. I had the salt, pepper and hot honey tenders with fries. I'd happily have this as mu death row meal. Chicken Thigh (best part of the chicken imo) deliciously battered, the sauce is just 🤤 and the fries are the best seasoned I've ever had. Cocktail are incredible. Staff were all lush. If I'm back in Nottingham I'll 100% be back

Ask yourself, what would you get if you combined a Fried Chicken Shop, a Micheline Star Restaurant, and graffiti art? The answer is Mollis. If your second question "should I go here?" - the answer is 'absolutely'. Spectacularly made and flavoured food and drink which will surprise and delight you. Book this immediacy if you want something which is fun, informal, but done with excellence.

Chicken was really moist and well cooked. There was absolutely nothing wrong with it but the hype exceeded the reality. Just a decent chicken burger.

Veggie tempura mushroom sandwich sounded amazing on the menu but was really disappointing. The mushroom was chewy and hard to bite and the sauce was SO lemony, the strong lemon smell reminded me of cleaning products each time I went for a bite and it really stopped me being able to enjoy it! My partner had the bechemel truffle chicken burger and also said the bechemel was so overpowering that he couldn't taste the chicken. The sides, cocktails, service and vibe were alll great - just disappointing sandwiches..

Really disappointing. Love the concept, venue and service but this is def NOT the best chicken….food was wet & mushy when it should be crispy, over spiced and over salted beyond belief. Dreadful VFM. Won’t be going back ☹️

Good atmosphere, vibes were popping and the good music could have been a bit louder. Anyway, we proceeded with drinks with a Coke and beer. £2.50 for a 200ml bottle of coke, this isn’t London or a Michelin star restaurant. We ordered the buffalo chicken tenders which were the best part of our meal. The blue cheese dip that came with it was watered down and couldn’t taste much of the blue cheese, this could have been better. 7/ 10 for the tenders. Also tried the fried chicken with truffle béchamel sauce. The bechamel sauce looked like it had been sitting for a while, wasn’t fresh at all and demolished the crispy chicken so that it was soggy. This could have definitely been better if there was less bechamel and if it was actually served fresh and hot. The grilled shallots were a good addition to it. 5/10 Nashville hot chicken burger - the chicken on this was cooked very good and was nice and crispy. Although I do enjoy spicy food, this was too spicy so beware.. 6/10 Also ordered the fries with bbq and miso ranch. This could have been better but the fries were as hard as a rock and needed to be softer. The miso and ranch did compliment each other well but the bacon was just burnt and didn’t compliment anything. 5/10 Ice cream was really good but wouldn’t pay £7 again for the small tub and average aero chocolate bar which I could put in myself. 6.5/10 The cocktails were expensive but good. Also the tables are too close for my liking. I had a male waiter at the beginning who was quite rude. However, the ladies who served after were super friendly and approachable. Overall the prices doesn’t justify the food enough for me, however the place is vibrant and seems like a good hangout spot if the food was better.

Excellent cocktails. Staff were attentive helpful. Very pleasant. The food was just too rich. The burger bun was so saturated. There was so much sauce and flavouring I couldn’t enjoy the meat. I would have liked more pickles and salad to balance this out. At £68 it wasn’t cheap.

This is my favourite chicken place in Nottingham full stop. Been afew time's now and they have always been amazing the staff are really friendly and polite. They now do uber eats and because am in the right distance I've ordered afew time's now and the food was just as good. Ofcourse it's not going to be as hot when you get it delivered but that's to be expected. I can't thank the staff enough for making every trip a pleasure

Simply the best chicken shop! Unbelievable food. Flavours are next level. Fully stuffed afters too. Recommend going full send and adding cocktails and icecream as they are also mind blowing. Service is great, decor and music cool too.

Food was enjoyable especially the ice cream at the end, chicken wings and burger were decent but could have gone to any number of outlets in town for a similar experience. Main issue was around billing. Prices on the bill differed from the printed menus provided when ordering, explanation was printed menus were wrong so could not honour the price. Mollis server did not seem to see the problem and suggested it was our fault for using the printed menu rather than the online one. Also claimed we did not have a reservation but then proceeded to call the lead booker during the meal seeing why we had not arrived.

Food was brilliant, staff were brilliant, it wasn't very busy so the atmosphere wasn't amazing but still great food, good staff and all in all, good time

We ordered a mixture of burgers, chicken, fries, smacked cucumber and pickles totally around £50 with the 50% discount on Uber eats. The food took an hour to arrive which wasnt too much of an issue at all but I did notice the driver was waiting at the pick up point for a while. Upon delivery we were shocked to find 3 missing items from the delivery which left some people of the group without dinner. Not only were the people left without food, but the people with food were left with luke warm burgers and fries. The flavours were distinct and all in all, tasty but for the price point, you expect quality, and this wasn’t. To think that without the discount, this order would have been roughly £100, is quite honestly a joke. I hope to think that the food in the restaurant is better quality and I hope this feedback is taken on so they can fine tune their delivery service as this could and should be better. made an online order on UBER Mollis is terrible, the chicken is bland and not crispy I had the classic burger and i was heavily dissatisfied you are better off going to BOHNS burgers Also had gochujang wings and these were soggy and sad the blue cheese sauce is horrid and not just because it’s blue cheese don’t waste your time or money with Mollis

This meal was an experience… to say in the least… the food was delicious undoubtedly. You could definitely feel the Michelin influence through the varied palate of options with sides. The burger itself is probably one of the best I’ve tried so far. The buns were soft and fresh, the chicken crisp and tastily smothered in an appetising sauce. My only downfall is that I ordered a meal, but they came out with the wrong meal. Due to the upbeat music, I didn’t realise I’d been served the wrong meal but by then I’d already started eating. I finished the meal because I’d quite enjoyed, so potentially it was a happy mistake. Although, the reason I have given the restaurant four stars is because of this reason plus when we were first being served it was unclear who we were being served by. Aside from that, incredible food.

Superb. Brilliant service, great menu and outstanding food. This restaurant is in a league of its own with its unique interior and sharing the kitchen with the Michelin star restaurant next door it’s a brilliant concept. Go, you won’t be disappointed. Pretentious with no right or reason to be. The creepily attentive staff will check on you every three seconds to ask if your bang average chicken burger is meeting expectations (it isn’t). The staff are so pleased with themselves it’s embarrassing and they never miss an opportunity to tell you how great their place is. The verbose barman over stayed his welcome and at one point actually sat down at the table, just to make sure we couldn’t escape his tedious insights on the menu. Graffiti adorns the walls and rap music plays on the speakers, as if you’d asked a teenager from the 90’s what a “cool” restaurant would look like. Aspirations of greatness, but all the class and tact of a Wetherspoon. I have no doubt the pretentious crowds in Nottingham will flock there, as they desperately search for somewhere they can say they’ve been that their friends haven’t. Beyond that, I can’t see a reason to go. Depressing.

This place is a must! Food is so flavourful, ice cream is divine. Coctails elevate the whole experience. Staff is super friendly and very helpful.

Great venue, went for lunch today and everything was excellent, tried a variety of the dishes and genuinely couldn’t fault it.

Between me and my mate we tried a few dishes... all with excellent flavour combinations that leave happy feelings through each layer you encounter... and that's what makes this place special. The menu is far more well thought out than most street food places. The classic chicken burger is the best chicken burger I've ever had. Well done chef, great work Ps. Staff were spot on! Food wasn’t great and didn’t deliver on the hype, chicken was undercooked. Spices were overpowering. Service staff are awkward. Both management and normal waiters. Ice cream wasn’t great either, overpriced. Tables and chairs too close together and uncomfortable… Nothing like Alchamilla, unfortunately

Went here based on Food Review Club UK TikTok visit. His review was Michelin style fried chicken! The place is situated out of the town centre and its looks like its derelict from the outside. I ordered the Tex Mex chicken sandwich with 6 honey and mustard wings and nduja dipping sauce. The chicken is brilliant quality and so tender. The chicken sandwich was good and I don't think I've ever had a brioche bun as big! Wings were smothered in honey and mustard which was so overpowerin and made the batter soggy and not crispy. There's too much going off as I didn't really know what to do with the nduja dipping sauce? It's like it shouldn't really be there. My partner had the buffalo thigh tenders and said the same about being smothered in sauce. £5 for fries is a bit steep. All soft scoop ice cream is £7 and I would say it is one of the nicest ice cream desserts I've ever had. The staff are very good and attentive. I think this place could be great if they just ironed out a few issues. I'm going to give it a 6.5 out of 10.

My son told me about this place, said I should go while visiting Nottingham. Really glad I did, fabulous food, great atmosphere, great staff and a really interesting place. Not cheap but well worth it. Top find.

We had been looking forward to coming to Mollis for a while, and finally made it for my partner’s birthday on a Friday evening. We were a bit taken back on arrival - we had read that the restaurant was very urban, with hip-hop playing and graffiti covering the walls, however, we weren’t expecting it to be quite THAT casual, especially given the price tag (just to put this into context, we’re in our late 20s). We ordered a couple of cocktails, which were both delicious, and some spiced cashews to share. No complaints on the food so far. For our mains we had two chicken burgers (one butter sauce and one Sichuan hot oil). The former was so disappointing - the butter sauce was very heavy and the flavours didn’t seem balanced. My ‘curry sauce’ on the side was the same - it lacked flavour to lift what is quite a heavy fried meal. The other burger was delicious, as were the fries. However, again, the ‘smacked cucumber’ salad was overpowering, too heavy, and distracted from the flavour of the burgers - I could and have honestly made better at home. Our soft serves were ‘ok’ but nothing to write home about. My marshmallow tasted overly charred, and my partner’s popcorn version was underwhelming given its £7 price tag. Overall, the experience just felt too try-hard and inauthentic. Totally fine to have graffiti, hip-hop and paper under food that rips on trays that swivel on the table when you try and eat and asking guests to order of a QR code menu (this was actually a real low-point for me) but if you’re going to do all that, I don’t want to be spending £50+ pp. Won’t be rushing back.

Utterly the dogs bo**ocks. Quite simply I’ve never had a burger as good as this. The flavours were insane. The FOH staff were brilliant. Thank you to the kitchen team they smashed it. Come here and spend your money you won’t regret.

Great variety, flavourful. Only had half of my burger so i would have room for some soft serve, but they wrapped up my left overs for me to enjoy at home.

Really well stylised place. The food is great with some really interesting and flavoursome mixes of ingredients. The chicken sandwiches were a cut above the wings or tenders and I would recommend the trying the charcoal one (if still on the menu). Cocktails were decent, with some great mixes of flavours. They also cater for vegi/vegan. Not your average chicken shop.

It's ok... Food was a bit salty and lacking flavour. If you're after spicy, guess again! Service was pretty good really. The waitress I collared was really genuinely helpful & seemed interested in looking after us rather than just upselling. Nobody came to ask how the food was though... And, it is VERY expensive for what it is...

This is already up there as one of my Notts faves. I was expecting something pretty good, but it’s much much better than that, and is truly special. The chicken is some of the best I have ever eaten. Period. Succulent meat which is so juicy. Fat rendered, skin crispy. Coating and sauce so full of flavour that some might say over seasoned - I say turbocharged. The sides to accompany the main event are varied, spectacular and delicious. They offer veggie options which I am told are just as tasty. There’s a few reviews I see complaining that this isn’t fine dining - well they are right, and I’m pretty sure it’s not meant to be! ‘Forced’ decor? Alex and his team hired some of theirs favourite artists, with the best local talent to spruce up the walls. A merger of this and the industrial look I think perfectly matches the concept they were going for, and the funked up food and drink they serve. Ah yes, the cocktails - again some of my favourite in Notts. This isn’t a restaurant that is for scrimping and saving, let’s be clear it isn’t cheap. However, unlike other fried chicken establishments, you will genuinely be sated after one round because of the way it’s made and the intense flavour, plus those sides. If you do have some room left, share a soft serve ice cream - or better still get one and try some of your groups’ others. The combinations of unique and intriguing ingredients and concoctions leave me wanting to book a date in the diary for my next visit. The ice cream is definitely something to taste and savour rather than just ‘eat’. Mollis also offers customers who wouldn’t or can’t visit Alchemilla an insight into the mind, the flavours and the other side to one of the hottest chefs in the UK of the moment (so says every UK top food critic) in Alex Bond and his talented team. There is no place like it in the East Midlands, or indeed even further afar.

Mollis takes casual dining to new heights. Street art / graffitied walls showcase local talent and create an urban feel. Combine this with hip hop beats and you’ve got a great vibe. After starting with a cocktail masterpiece that included banana & miso rum, chocolate vodka, lime juice and banana consommé we excitedly moved onto food. We both chose a chicken sandwich (one Sichuan hot oil with lobster mayo and one Charcoal butter sauce with popadom, lime-pickle, mint yoghurt), accompanied by house fries and a side of miso bbq sauce. We also shared chicken wings with Gochujang buffalo, blue cheese and pineapple. The food is cooked to an incredible standard, with a crispy coating that is seasoned to perfection. The pairing of condiments and toppings are a thing of absolute ingenuity and beauty; you need to taste it to believe it. We ended things with a portion each of their soft serve ice cream (I’d heard good things but was still further impressed!). One brown sugar, popcorn & caramel and one chocolate caramel, marshmallow & cookie. What a way to end an already incredible feast. Absolutely 10/10 from me, including the service, which was second to none. Already looking forward to future visits!

Great experience, top class service and superb food. Felt like great value at less than £70 for a couple of courses for 2 with starters, sides and 2 drinks each. Highly recommended, try the satay tenders 👌

Mollis has the best fried chicken I've ever eaten, it's absolutely amazing. Highly recommend the hot Sichuan oil sandwich and the parmesan fries which are to die for, also the soft serve ice cream is gorgeous. Kyran was an excellent server, so easy to get along with and had great craic, what a guy. Looking forward to coming back in the future!

Great fried chicken if a little expensive. Very innovative flavours which can't be faulted. If you want something a bit funky this is the place for you. One draw back is that it is assumed you want to pay the discretionary tip. I was just given the card reader set at the total including the tip. No hot drinks on offer which is a shame, it was snowing outside and a hot drink would have been welcomed. I think they thought I was weird for asking. Maybe cater for us non drinkers as well.

Too kool for skool with its dreamy graffiti interior and hip hop soundtrack. Feast on delicious fried chicken and the tastiest fries. We didn’t have room for dessert but we’ll be going back!!!

Fantastic food and service was excellent. The chicken was super tender and the fries were quality. I recommend getting some curry sauce on the side, absolutely delicious! The cocktails are amazing too and the soft serve with the earl grey marshmallow was one of the best desserts I’ve had. Highly recommend a visit!

A friend brought me here just for the desert - we tried 3 different soft serve ice creams and were in heaven! Wow! Definitely worth a trip just for the ice cream. Staff were super friendly and accommodating too and The atmosphere was great! I can’t speak for the food but the friend that took me here said it was 👌

Pros - The sea buckthorn and nahm jim chicken was unusual but very tasty, the stout was also very nice. Cons - The pink potato side had a strange powdery texture I wasn't keen on and the rhubarb & liqorice ice cream was an assault on the tastebuds too far.

Be prepared for your senses to assaulted, if you're not prepared. Settle down and enjoy everything. Service and food were excellent and the ice cream so intense, wonderful

We came here last night and absolutely LOVED it! From start to finish the entry through the graffiti doorway to the walls covered in amazing graffiti. The staff were great, the music was amazing! We had a double date night and it didn’t disappoint the food was fantastic and I had no issues whatsoever the flavours and concoctions just absolutely brilliant and the dessert was amazing too! Thank you so much for a fantastic evening we most definitely will be back!

We was really looking forward to our monthly meal out with friends here after its affiliation with a Michelin starred restaurant next door. Sadly we were really disappointed with everything about the meal. We went for ordering a selection of options from the menu which is impossible to open as it's a qr code on the table and it's quite a dark restaurant. What's wrong with a traditional menu! The cocktails were ok, but nothing to write home about. There is a disclaimer in the menu that the chicken may be red inside but it is cooked. I found the wings very red with some blood inside which did put me off. Some of the thighs toppings were nice but some were really odd. The sides come in a shot glass sized container and were expensive for what they were. We had a variety of the soft serves, the marshmallow was a really odd taste which I can only describe as tasting like an ashtray! I'm struggling to work out what this place is trying to be, a mix of Asian spice with American fast food. Bizarre. We shan't be returning or recommending this one unfortunately.

Excellent all round. Dont know where the negative comments came from but i experienced faultlessly cooked chicken in an exceptional coating, a surprisingly large side (i ordered two and could easily have had only one), great cocktails - best whiskey sour ever, and everyone should be made to have dessert! Will be going back as soon as i can.

It’s true - it’s absolutely bangin’! We’ve visited a few times now and Mollis never disappoints. Great vibes every time whether we go for dinner or drinks. Food is high quality with flavours from around the world. The shio koji tenderises the chicken perfectly, it’s the best we’ve tried by a mile. The sea buckthorn nahm jim is a firm favourite and the veggie burger is quite possibly the best ever! Great selection of cocktails - especially the raspberry vodka, grapefruit and ginger ale cocktail. The soft serve is rich and creamy with some really interesting flavour combinations, will be heading back to try them all…. Highly recommend! 🥳🤩

One word SPECTACULAR. I cannot recommend this place enough to everyone; the whole experience was amazing. The place itself is incredible with extraordinary art work, the staff were so friendly, the fried chicken the best I ever had, the soft serve icecream is out of this world and the array of drinks from cocktails to beers is amazing.
