The Nigerian experience in the heart of Nottingham. Great ambience and decor to set the mood for pictures and comfort. The food was amazing, I missed the taste of amala and gbegiri. The premium service and friendly staff made everything better. 10/10, definitely coming back soon.

The Moinmoin I got here tasted horrible. In fact I am highly dissapointed. I could not even take more than one bite and I got two. Please go and learn how to make moinmoin.

Lady attending to my husband and I was very unwelcoming. I had to ask her my questions over and over again to get a response from her. Made me feel very uncomfortable and I ended up asking for my meal to be packed. I do remember getting a similar treatment from same lady a few weeks ago when I went in to get a meal. Asides this hostile attitude from the attendant, the meal was excellent. I will not be returning though as I do not feel welcome there.

Absolutely nightmare. The food is over cooked and hard as rock. The fried plantains are black coloured not like shown in the photos people posted (golden brown?) I threw everything away and posted a proof. My partner said it’s not edible and this is the first I agree with him this much. The first two is after nearly an hour struggling to eat it. Yes, we threw literally nearly everything away. The last one is when I tried to serve it. Yes, it looks great but tasted so ridiculously bad. Don’t ever think about having food here. 22 pounds for tonights nightmare. Run! Please run! (Yes, I’m going out to grab some meal deal from Tesco now, it will be much better.)

The food was a reasonable sized amount and it tasted just like home (Nigeria) I loved it.

Horrible place to go. Avoid this place at all cost. The food is great but the customer service is disgusting. Everytime I go into the shop to make an order the woman is always rude to me. She has bad manners. Despite me always spending my money in there. They do no value their customers. If you fancy Nigerian food go to Lekki Restaurant at 210 Ilkeston Road or The Marina at 144 Alfreton Road instead. I promise the food and service will be much better not to mention it being price friendly.

We ordered some party jollof, stewed meat and fish, pie and sausage for eid. Giving a 5 star cos that’s the highest, I will give more if there was a rating higher than 5. Food portions were generous and matched the price we paid. Quality: food was very tasty, really took us back to proper naija owanbe feeling. There was nothing lacking. I will definitely recommend and return to them for future.

Really yummy food and lovely customer service. I had the Abula, ogbono, fried yam, jollof rice, beef and chicken stew and also the asun. Can’t wait to try other items on the menu!! I really cannot fault the taste of the food, spicy , well seasoned abs carefully packaged exactly what I needed to start my weekend 😊😍 😋

Delicious West Africa food.. really good home taste..

I've never written a review before but after this experience I have to. I want to start with saying that the food is probably really good (I didn't end up trying it) but my experience with the delivery service was horrendous. They were super polite and lovely on the phone but that doesn't make up for my order being an hour late without notice. I was told that my food would arrive in 40 minutes, it took about 1.5 HOURS to get to me. The only reason I was aware of this delay was because I took it upon myself to call and ask for updates when the time my food was meant to arrive had passed. I told them that I simply cannot pay full price for this kind of service, so asked to pay half price which she declined. If this happened anywhere else I would get a full refund or at least offered a discount as an apology but I respected that decision so didn't end up getting to try the food. I would have appreciated a little communication or even a message to say that my food may be delayed but nothing. I may come in person to try the food one day but I simply cannot trust the delivery service anymore after this. I'm sorry to have to write this kind of review but this has been my experience and I hope this never happens to anyone else.

One of the best Nigerian restaurants I have eaten in the UK. What a little treasure in the hesrt of Nottingham. We ordered about 5 various dishes and each one was very tasty and well seasoned. Service was great as well. Will recommend to anyone looking for some good Nigerian food. Great place, I look forward to visiting again 👍
