Phat Buns (Radford) in Nottingham

Just ordered via uber eats. Extremely disappointing by the food I would rate it a zero if I could. Ordered the phatville slider meal the chicken in the bun was so small that not even half the bun was filled basically one small tender in the bun. The meal had chips included.. was extremely cold and stale. If it was just cold would have been OK because they were stale they were rock hard and inedible. NEVER again from here

Mediocre at best. Would have given a middle of the road 3 starts if it wasn't for the price. Had it been cheaper, I'd possibly give a 3

Delivery service to bad. packageing very poor. Driver left my delivery door side in soil without poly bag or paper bag. They can't call me. I am very disappointed.

I ordered for delivery very bad missing items and I ordered rose pistachio milkshake but got banana and dates fries where cold staff is terrible how can you do soo many mistakes in one small order?

I absolutely love this place, good quality food and overall I just love the staff as well. They’re so nice to get along with. The only downsides is that I’ve had a few problems with the food, sometimes it comes cold but that’s a big possibility because I usually get it delivered. The ingredients they use in the food is high quality and I order on occasion to treat myself xx

First time I ordered from here tonight. I ordered on a friday night and my food was ready within 20 mins. I walked to pick my order up and it was being packed up as I arrived bang on time. The burger was delicous, proper meat. Nicely stacked too, not just thrown together. 1 portion of fries can serve 2 of you. The phat loaded tots was delicious, literally tastes like a mcdonalds big mac in a box but better. Chicken tenders were beautiful. All food was packaged with care. 100% recommend and will order from here again, so many things to try on the menu

To begin with, the food was actually rather delicious. I ordered 2 sliders with the crinkle cut fries and had both their signature dips. The first fault I found with this order was that they don’t serve drinks with their meals which made it taste quite dry, but not anything too major. The sauce in the slider was very tasty however the majority of the slider was just buns and sauce and it didn’t have enough chicken but the parts where the chicken was present, it was extremely good. Very well seasoned, and will definitely be looking to have some of that chicken again. Moving on with the service, I ordered for delivery but needed some sauces and needed my gherkins to be removed from the fries, so I called up the shop and asked them however they claimed that my order was almost packed and they weren’t “able to help”. I’ve worked in the fast food industry before and I know it takes about 10 seconds maximum to quickly put some sauces in an order even if it’s almost packed. Key word, almost. Even if it was fully packed, it would still be easily doable within a matter of seconds, just pure laziness from the workers. However the delivery driver was helpful, so I will let them slide due to their positive service provided.

Food was amazing, cooked perfectly and delicious. Ordered two kids meals, they were kind to adjust it slightly. We asked for chips instead of potatoe tots. Customer service is brilliant, always welcoming and kind. Best beef burgers in nottingham! Reasonably prices too for kids meal! £10 for 2, can't go wrong!

specifically asked for no spice on one of the burgers yet it was still very spicy. Also wasn’t given a portion of phat bun sauce. Paid £10.20 for the brioche burger, was nice but it didn’t match the picture. The picture shows 5 patties, I got given 2. Also shows it’s twice the size which it quite clearly isn’t. rip off

Phat buns is one of best places in Nottingham! Portions are generous, burgers are delicious, potato tots are so crispy but the lemon pepper chicken tenders are out of this world!

PHATBOX: £18 excluding delivery This was extremely disappointing to say the least! Usually have high expectations from phatbuns due to the quality of food and previous orders I’ve had from them as well as the price pictures etc however this PHATBOX had extremely misleading portion sizes, as you can see the box is practically empty aside from the plastic container and burger. Absolutely appalling, tenders were more so like nuggets the sauce was leaking all over the box and even in the delivery’s drivers bag. The portion of loaded fries was extremely cold due to the holes in the box and small portion size, not even a handful of chips. The mac and cheese was extremely disappointing just tasted of pasta shells soaked in milk. The burger was by far the best tasting thing in the box only item which was as expected. Hopefully phatbuns uses this criticism from multiple dissatisfied customer's (only wishing I had seen reviews before hand), and reflects on customers complaints about this box, as usually there food is nice however this was a huge let down!!

Ordered the phat buns meal for delivery The burger (beef)was amazing, best burger I’ve had. Garlic parm Chicken tenders were well seasoned with spices but not very garlic flavoured. Potato tots were delicious but abit drowned in sauce and became abit soggy. Finally the Mac and cheese was penne pasta in a cream sauce, it was quite bland but came with the meal deal. Overall for £12 box it was really good and very filling. Would definely order the burger again 🍔 A side note is the box it came in had no paper lining, so hopefully it was cleaned before food being put straight onto it.

I’ve had to change my review because this was ridiculous. don’t need to say much. paid 20 for a box deal they have.

Build a box , food was cold chicken was spicy even tho it never mentioned it being spicy burger was nice but mac and cheese was like pasta floating in milk not very apitizing

We have ordered from here for a couple of years now as it used to be our favourite takeaway burger spot. The delivery today took a long time to arrive 1 hour+ and food arrived cold and we had to heat it up which is the opposite of what you want when you order in. The driver called once they arrived and while my partner was speaking to them they were very short and rude with them. We won't be returning.

amazing food and considerably priced!

I used to be a big fan of this place but my last few times of ordering have been a let down. Burgers were over cooked and tasteless, wings were not nice at all, frozen wings just fried and topped with sauce. Disappointing from a franchise like this.

After spending £48 you would expect some sort of sauces be provided with your meals. When asked for sauces was told it would be £1 per tub which is absurd especially after spending so much. Wings and strips are both cooked from frozen so don’t expect anything high quality. Everything is overpriced for the quality of food you are being given. Will never be back.

Extremely disappointed with this place. The burgers are very average – standard patty and basic buns – but they charge an outrageous amount for what you get. On top of that, the customer service is terrible. The staff seem uninterested and lack basic courtesy. Definitely not worth the price, as the quality and service don’t justify the cost. You can easily find better burgers and better service elsewhere for much less.

Lovely service and burgers like seriously I would recommend ordering through the websites delivery service even if you can’t make it to the store. Salaman was my server and is really friendly and gave me a great deal. Can’t recommend it enough if ur local to Notts or travelling to Notts.

Zak was really nice and made jokes to me and my friend. It seems like Luton has a reputation which I’m not surprised about haha. Food was nice, service good.

I think it is way too expensive for the price. They way overpriced for the quality. The chicken wings are nice, the chicken cook well and fresh can see from the inside the chicken is fresh, unfortunately over price for chicken wings. The Thai sauce also not something special that they can charge price like this too expensive. I'm being honest. The price is way too expensive for quality like this. Even they do 30% discount but still too expensive for quality like this. The burger is tasteless. There is no unique taste to represent the speciality of the burger. Way too much sauce, did not taste good, feel unwell. The drink cup was half full and half empty.

You will not find a better burger in the uk right now the pattys are just so full of flavour and that phat sauce wow i take 4 pots home every time now and the tots can be a tad soggy at some locations especially at the hartley road one wouldn't recommend them their but eveything else at that location is on point beeston one is probably the best tots out the 3 i tried this week super crispy Loughborough is next on the list but seriously good food ohh and we carnt forget derbys they get eveything right every time and lovely staff their was the 1st one i tried and it gets better every time i go to that one

Literally just ordered. Spent £30 for food to arrive missing & what did come were half the portions they used to be, aswell as cold. Delivery driver basically through the food through the door to get off Used to order here in the past but hadn't for a couple months. Won't be ordering again. Save your money and buy elsewhere.

Burgers, wraps and chicken wings were fantastic quality. Taste is out of this world, particularly the BBQ wings. The slush was also really tasty, and individually packaged which is a good touch. Really impressed and highly recommended.

Hard potatoes, humburger nothing spectacular compared to the price which is super expensive, chicken wings super dry and salty.

I've ordered from here several times and the food is always really good. Sadly everytime I order a drink it NEVER shows up and the refund system doesn't work. So just dont bother ordering drinks.

Burger was tasteless, really lacked seasoning. Fries and tater tots were good but the wings were incredibly disappointing. I ordered the lemon pepper and I really wouldn’t recommend.

First time trying, and was very impressed. Burgers were better than we expected, similar to five guys, smashed patties. Had some chicken tenders aswell they were amazing, unfortunately couldn’t get them with hot sauce, but the sweet chilli ones were great. Come with either tater tots which I love or skin on fries, which the wife had. Now here is my only slight complaint, still gave 5 stars but I have a little gripe. You get loads of fries which is great but not so many tater tots. Which is very noticeable when you have 2 plates one full of fries and one with a hand full of tater tots. Would leave me with a a dilemma next time I ordered. Not a price thing as tater tots are no more expensive than fries. But on the whole decent food, fresh and cooked well.

Missing items, the food that did arrive was cold. As for the tast the cheese was in a tiny pot but was OK everything else taster like it was made 3 days ago. I called about my missing items to which a rude man kept talking to someone else then passed me to several people before I was told they won't bring my missing items instead they will give them me if I order again... joke waste of time and money. Due to food standards I will also take this further

1 of the nest burgers I've ever had in my life, so much so I've been 4 times in 2 weeks 😋 Highly recommend the phat American or phat classic. Not tried the wings yet but will do soon. Great service by salmon (sorry if I've spelt that wrong) but he provided a great service! Highly recommend and will absolutely return (probably too soon lol)

Vile food, absolutely covered a hot dog in ketchup , mayo and burger sauce, even though we asked for one with only ketchup, they had to seeing as it was burnt to a crisp. Looks absolutely vile, one of us plucked up the courage to try it and it tastes like cheap, burnt rubbish. Don't be fooled the regular iced drinks are actually a regular size, they're tiny. I spent £42 on inedible garbage that went in the bin. Seriously don't go through the disappointment of waiting for food for it to turn up cooked by someone with no cooking skills or someone plating it up that can actually see. I'd be embarrassed sending this out to paying customers.

Ordered the meal for one off Deliveroo, which was around £15. There was fries, loaded fries, a 4 oz beef patty burger and a drink of choice (s'mores shake), all of which tasted great and was really good value, so would highly recommend.

Ordered food through deliveroo for my son and me. Sons food was fine. The chicken and chips box was cold and had a hair in it. Was not eating it. Called the line but no answer.

Phat buns are definitely the best tasting burgers in Nottingham…Angus beef is cooked to perfection. Phat buns have franchised from Birmingham so it is no surprise there burgers are the best in Nottingham because Nottingham takeaways cannot even get this right… Their food is freshly cooked and tastes I cannot fault it. They give you fries or tots… they tend to cater for your needs even if you raise concerns, shows the business cares about its customers views. Mak halal is good to but the winner for me is phat buns.. Keep up the good work as I’m a regular customer!

The cheetos burger idea is terrible. It seemed so far-fetched, like something a student might make out of shear boredom, that I thought for a business to be selling it, it must be good. Afraid it was not. Fries were lovely, though didn't come with a dip just salt. Mac and cheese bites could've come with more portions. Nice service though.
