Delicious food and delicious fish

I was introduced to this place by a friend and then I introduced my friend to the same place! Incredible cuisine just round the corner , this coming from an English man with a taste for all cultures , fresh food prepared in front of your eyes, clean premises and facilities , all star customer service from the wonderful ladies at the front, compliments to the chefs slaving away on the flame grills, we mainly have the kebab bundle with fresh naan, but honestly order any dish you'll be more than satisfied and the prices....so low you won't get anywhere else, thankyou always rotana !

I visited Rotana Restaurant in Nottingham yesterday, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience! Despite the recent renovations, which have given the place a fresh and modern look, the prices remain incredibly affordable. First time in this beautiful restaurant, before I ordered they served me a soup it was really hot and good, I ordered biryani lamb it was very nice dish comes with tow other soups, the staff were very welcoming and polite, you got your self a new customer🙏total was 11€ The restaurant is very beautiful, and the workers receive you in a beautiful manner. When I first came, they gave me hot soup before I ordered. For my order, it was biryani with whole meat. I come with a plate of edamane (okra, eggplant), very beautiful, and a cup of tea. I will visit again.

That's my number 1 resultant. It's been years since I started going there. The food is great. Service is excellent. The price is cheap compared to their quality food. I would recommend giving it a try, you will definitely go back if you do.

I personally like this restaurant a lot. Their food is really delicious yet inexpensive. Two people can easily get a tummy-full experience within £20!

I wish I could give this place zero stars as that’s all it deserves! 000000 stars! Horrible disgusting food, there was hair in the food, my friend found a fly in the rice! The place is dirty, tables dirty! We ordered a chicken shawarma with rice and kebab, the kebab smelt like rotten meat. We returned the food and complained that the meat had a smell to it, the chef apologised and said that the meat was from 2 days ago! He said he will make us a fresh dish! But I ran out of the place and wanted nothing from there! This place could send you to hospital with food poisoning! Avoid! Never coming back here! Only come here if you want a death sentence!

I’m telling you, the juiciest, fastest ribs you could dream of 🤤 A middle eastern Kurdish restaurant with a great atmosphere! They serve some lovely hearty lentil soup as you walk through the door and they have an Ayran (yogurt drink) machine that they serve in traditional copper cups 😮‍💨 GREAT value for money and even as a big guy I end up taking home left overs. Only place in Nottingham I recommend to friends 👏🏼

This place is just amazing. The food is traditional. Well worth a visit and thank me later. Its also not expensive.

Try to go here at least once a month, service and food is amazing. The prices and portion sizes are so good. Each main is around £10, complimentary soup served within seconds of sitting down. Main waiter is a lovely man, cannot do enough for you, always checking in - “You alright bro?” - Makes the hipster restaurants in the city centre look like a shambles. Long live Rotana!

This was the WORST experience that we had in a restaurant, let me start with all details: We arrived at the restaurant and asked to be seated and was told pick any table, well as a group of 7 we picked one table that could fit all of us, bear in mind all tables that were free were dirty, after 10 min seated we had to ask for someone to clean the table because we wanted to order!!! Finally someone came with with some soup, (table was still dirty) 2 min later came someone to clean the table and started spraying the product to clean the table. We made our order and waited around 40 min or more for our food, meanwhile, the waiters never came to the table, i had to go ask why is taking so long, nothing to “munch” while we waiting, nobody liked the soup, they saw we didn’t touch but never came to collect. Well here it comes the food, they put the tray on the table and some naan breads and left, did i mention we had NO PLATES??? Food was getting cold and so naan bread became hard…So we had to ask for plates, and they brought us dessert plates, yes mini plates for us to eat and yeah i had to ask for cutlery and they had the nerves to ask me how many??? Jokes she could see its 7 of us. Only positive is the meat was nice and tasty but to be honest after almost 1 hour waiting i lost my appetite and didn’t really enjoy the food plus on those mini plates. The service was horrible, they don’t have catering skills, we will never come back to this place again!!! Whoever’s want to know this place this is the reality !

Came all the way from Birmingham to try them out, absolutely loved it! The food and atmosphere was amazing. Staff were very friendly and them food quality was hundred percent! Defo recommended and will be back very soon.

The service here need huge work on, basic smile welcoming, after service etc. Our food came over, the guy dropped some of the chicken tikka on the floor, he didn't even apologise or seem bothered. I would recommend looking at other establishments selling simular food they have much better service and proper uniforms. This place could do very well, prices and portion sizes are good.

Food was good but the service was not good gave us wrong dish plus they gave so many salads which we didn’t even ordered and other items and then gave excess bill without any break up of the prices so this needs to be looked.
