Really poor value for money and poor quality chips. £4.70 for a large portion which was smaller than most regular portions from other chip shops. Service minus a smile. Won't return.

The food is not great, portions are tiny and the guy working there was incredibly rude. The gravy was really thick, gloopy and lacked flavour and when I raised it to the guy working there and asked if he’d mind changing to chips and curry sauce he started to shout at me. So he just took the chips and binned them without replacing so in essence I ended up paying £8.70 for a sausage (that was also below average)

This chippy was recommended to us by locals. Good food, but nothing special and the atmosphere is lacking. Good fish & chips but no more than that

Just found my favourite chippy in town tonight! Crispy batter on the fish was absolutely top notch and chips were just the right proportions of crispy and soft. Visiting very soon again for sure.

The food is 5☆ .Unfortunately due to an unnerving experience with a drunken male customer and the lack of response from 3 male staff ( one being the manager ) and 1 female and the fact that im an older female means im an ex customer as i do not feel safe after the incident .Such a shame as the food is so go9d

OMG have the Berginator mix, it is out of this world!! This has got to be the best chippy ever. I love it!

My first UK fish and chips! Great curry sauce, mushy peas, battered sausage and fish. Shop was clean. super tasty and my fave in town.

i went there and sat on the bench, but being badly maintained and designed it then broke and i fell on the hard concrete floor and they accused me of being drunk, it was 2:30pm… i was not drunk, we asked for help about the bench from the owners as i fell around broken glass and they did not help! was very disappointed, as no attempt to clean or rectify the situation.

First time having fish and chips from England! I would say that it was pretty good, this place definitely recommend for fish and chips options, and what’s a plus is the owner and the additional staff are friendly and the store itself is pretty clean too

It was pretty bad, but I was wasted like a MF, so i would eat anything thrown at me. The staff were very patient and understanding with my yammering so that's why it's a 3 not a 2

Freshly cooked classic chippy style chips and tasty gravy sauce. Portions are generous even when ordered small - it’s good value for money. There’s a variety of choices available and at good prices. The staff are friendly, and it’s cool how the venue features the Panthers! Like any other chippy, there’s grease in the air but the venue is as clean as it can be. Thanks!

This is the best fish and chips I have eaten in Nottingham. Staff friendly ,and place every time keep clean High quality fish good texture and fresh potatoes chips it makes me recall and recall Doner very good, I like that Rich fragrance , chicken meat is good texture

I ordered small chips and they were so soggy and tasteless. The last time I went before they were nice it's worth a visit but I feel their are better chippies in town. Service was good and I was on a quick visit so their wasn't much atmosphere I witnessed.

This is a conveniently located fish and chips shop on the periphery of Nottingham city centre. Although, they also serve dinner kebabs in nan etc. They serve good size portions. Disappointingly, for the price they charge, we expected a little more than the ordinary. They have seating both in and outside the shop but the place could do with a Facelift. I don't think we will be returning again.

Love this place, it's our first stop when we get in to Nottingham before going to the pubs as the chips are amazing!

The food is disgusting. Even my dog turned it's nose up at the pale undercooked kebab meat and he eats anything. The chips just taste of dirty cooking oil.

Absolutely disgusting ,the chips tasted like they were cooked in really really old oil even smelt bad the battered sausages were old and the batter was soggy the doner kebab meat was so pale and smelt rank, do not go here

Great small cod & chips £8.10. Better than many restaurants and half the price

Nice chips and pie. Service was a little slow as they only had one member of staff when they could have done with more. The one staff member on was very pleasant and as efficient as humanly possible though so I would give her personally five stars.

I paid over 10 pounds for what was supposed to be a large gravy and a large chips with a small fish to split with my partner ( ordered about 4 times here before. Second this week) When I got home there was no gravy and about 2 hand fulls of chips. The chap asked my order 3 also I didn't expect it to be wrong. Usually there is enough for 3 people. So disappointed :(

Great food, the chips are really nice.

Always good food from here and you can be sure that you won't get an upset stomach even if you are buying food at 3am which is more than can be said for other local fast food outlets. The staff are great fun and will always have a chat with you if the shop isn't swamped with customers. Would definitely recommend here for your after drink treats. Still remains good after years and years.

The best in town (my opinion of course). Friendly owners and great chips. Generous serve serve sauces and the curry sauce is vegetarian and delicious.

I found the place to be clean. They offer delicious fish and chips. The best one I've ever had. Pretty pleased with the portion size keeping in mind I paid a small portion, but I think I might have received a regular size.

It was the only chip shop we could find as we weren't locals. The food was ok but the chap put on so much salt it made part of the meals inedible.

This is a fantastic chippy in the heart of Nottingham, we stopped here for some chips and fish and I must say it was of the highest calibre. This is definitely on our list of favourites as far as chip shops go, everything seemed so fresh and the staff were amazing to say the least. We went to the Christmas market where everything was overpriced, but luckily I spotted this chippy in the back streets so I encouraged my girl we should go there for food as we don’t like to get ripped off. It was great the food was great and I even got a homeless person a bag of chips too 👍

Extremely friendly staff, and a well known fast food joint in Hockley. I'd recommend the Burginator. It comes in a wrap, complete with chips, chicken (or kebab), grated cheese and a choice of sauces. Extremely filling, which is perfect after a night out!! The menu doesn't do it justice, as doesn't reference what it contains.

Great products excellent friendly service with a manager who has an eye for keeping on top of his business. Success from his and the customers standpoint does not "just happen" it has to be made to happen and this is a fine example. Concentrate on what your good at and eliminate frivolous diversions is the key. He knows who his customers are and he delivers every time.

Good deal only £3.70 for fish & chips with peas. The peas and the fish are a bit bland, so be sure to season them with typical salt and vinegar. Not intended to sit in but rather for a snack Tour Go :)
