The best restaurants in Leicester East Midlands

Food is some of the best curry I’ve had in Leicester. Great prices too especially when you have NHS discount on top of it. Only qualm is you often wait a while for your food even when the place is empty. Apart from that I’ve been here so many times and will continue to due to the quality of the food.

Great little burger joint. Lovely food and loads of milkshake flavours to choose from. The staff looked after our group of 6 really well, even moving a table to allow us all to eat together.

We had a great night. The food was well prepared on the day, I could taste the ingredients were fresh and care was taken in the cooking process. The dhal was flavoursome and smokey, breads were soft, fish was tasty. Spices were used well, not too much not too little. We even got a free dessert, which was excellent, Gulab Jamun and cream with beetroot halwa. The the staff showed us everything was handmade. Portions were great, starters were generous. The staff were excellent, took the time to talk to us and explain things, they were also entertaining and extremely friendly. Thank you for a great night. 😊.

Extremely luxurious experience, the food just metls into your mouth plus its not even expensive. Very kind staff they keep checking on you once in a while to make sure you are doing okay or need anything. Perfect place for family/friends get-together. The atmosphere of the restaurant makes you feel like you're dinning in a high-class restaurant

Visited Casa Romana for date night and it did not disappoint! The garlic bread was incredible and I also had the ravioli which was in a rich tomato sauce. One of the best meals I’ve had for a long time! Staff were also very attentive. I would recommend calling to make a Booking as it was popular but we were very lucky to have walked in and got a table. Looking forward to visiting again hopefully soon!

Very clean..delicious food and ready on time..no waiting long

Just ate here, had the mixed kebab, was beautiful, lamb rad really tender, chicken was cooked perfectly and the kofte, something I’m not always the biggest fan of was really tasty..! Would definitely recommend.

Room is decent size but room cleaning is only done if requested (which i wasn't told on arrival). Also, all three evenings my entry card was deactivated with various excuses given like colleague must have not realised it's three nights stay, corridor doors have changed today (it clearly wasn't). Breakfast was okay.

This place is just dirty. The toilets especially are dreadful, even though the rota said they’d been checked earlier that day. The whole place needs a really good clean.

The food was amazing. The staff were welcoming and looked after us throughout our stay. I would definitely go back.
