Sapphire Kitchen & Bar in Leicester

I went here with my girlfriend for our anniversary and not only was the food delicious, but the atmosphere and service was amazing. Thank you to Vhesh for your amazing service.

Me & Mrs popped in here for a quick bite to eat after some evening shopping, food was unreal, We shared the Sapphire mixed boil. Can’t wait to bring our son to try. 💯 recommend

I tried Sapphire for the first time tonight & I was not disappointed. Upon arrival you are greeted and seated with very helpful, polite & friendly staff. The food was out of this world with lots of flavour and choice. Would highly recommend to anyone😍

I recently dined at this restaurant and had a fantastic experience. The lobster was delicious, and the chicken burger and bang bang prawn were absolutely amazing! Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely recommend this place, especially for those looking for quality Halal options.

We ordered crab legs, and although our initial serving didn’t have as much meat as expected, the staff went above and beyond to make it right. They kindly offered us a replacement with extra crab legs that were absolutely loaded with meat! When I took that first bite, I couldn’t help but do my happy food dance – they were that delicious! We ordered the seafood boil, none of it was fresh and very overpriced for the food quality. Service was also terrible, took them 20 mins to take our order even though we let them know we were ready to order, plus the restaurant wasn’t busy at all. Won’t be returning.

Well I was craving for seafood so i found this restaurant on Google came along with my friends, it's such a beautiful place, We ordered for KING CRAB ,Bang Bang Prawns , Wings and some cocktails 2 for £10 🍹🦀 They have speciality in Cajun Sauce. The food and Cocktails were Delicious and Excellent 🔟/🔟 . Great Hospitality very friendly 👍 will surely recommend and I'm coming back with Family to try more seafood.

Poor quality of service and overrated we went to the restaurant as it was near to the place where we are staying we had to wait for 5 minutes for menu even there were just 2 table at the moment the waiter doesn't have any knowledge about wine and food won't recommend..

This is one of the best restaurants for seafood in the Leicester. I loved the whole lobster here. The staffs are good aswell. They have amazing offers too checkout their website for more info.

Went for lunch with a friend on a Sunday. Restaurant was quiet which was a surprise! We both had lobster tail seafood boil and it was delicious. Loved the little plastic crab aprons to wear while you eat! Would recommend and would definitely eat here again!

My visit was in a Sunday lunch time, myself and my friend came in for a catch up, very excited to try the food. And we were NOT disappointed. We both had the Lobster tail which was absolutely delicious. The sauce was so tasty and we made sure not to waste a single drop. By the time we had finished, we had eaten every last scrap of food on our plates. We couldn't stop saying how delicious it was and how much we were enjoying our meals and had already decided that we needed to come back. It's not the most affordable meal, so definitely an occasional treat. I can't believe that during the whole time we were there, we were the only two customers. I know Seafood probably isn't your typical Sunday afternoon choice but considering how lovely the food was, I couldn't believe it. If you are considering going, please do, it will not disappoint :)

We took a friend who was visiting and for all of us it was a first time experience. Thee food was hot, tasty and service was great. We didn't wait very long either for the food which was really impressive. They also cater for my daughter who is 4 years old and a fussy eater. 😊 Thank you again for the great experience x

My niece wanted to go for brunch before she heads back to University, and we were undecided so I suggested Sapphire as neither of us have tried a seafood boil. Our whole experience from start to finish was excellent, customer service was spot on, drinks were amazing (we ordered a passionfruit martini). The food certainly exceeded expectations and now I know what all the hope is about with seafood boils 🙌🏼. Sapphire is the only place I know of in leicester offering seafood boil. The menu had a wide range of appetisers, mains and sides to choose from. We opted for the Sapphaire mixed boil and the calamari as our appetiser. The seasoning was absolutely delicious and more(ish). We were provided with plastic bibs, gloves, scissors and a shell cracker, napkins, wet hand wipes and a bucket for our shells. Surprisingly it wasn’t too messy (my bib was clean) 😊 Sapphire is located beside Leicesters Royal Infirmary, just on the outskirts of the city centre. The venue was clean, with nice decor and felt very welcoming. I certainly plan to go back, I would like to try their burgers next time, however the seafood is just too amazing not to order again. Highly recommended place to dine with family, friends and partners.

First time visiting Sapphire as well as first time trying a seafood boil. Took my niece for brunch before she heads back to university, and we decided to try Sapphire I have wanted to try a seafood boil for sometime after seeing videos on line, now I can understand what the hype has been about, I've certainly missed out on the experience until today. The food at sapphire was delicious, fresh seafood with the most amazing seasoning 😋🙌🏼 The cocktails were delicious, there is a selection of appetisers, mains and sides on the menu. We opted for the Sapphire mixed boil as a main dish and calamari as an appetiser, all the dishes tasted fresh and very well seasoned. I will certainly be returning to try other menu options. It’s the only place in Leicester offering a seafood boil, I highly recommend it to anyone local and those visiting leicester

Recently Visited the Saffire Seafood Kitchen Resturant with my friends for having dinner. The food served was absolutely delicious, especially the snow crab cluster is a must try one for people who likes spicy with some meat. The ambiance was really fantastic for a diner party. And the service provided by Alwin Augustine an who is polite, and calm in busy time and also joyful on the other hand in his work made my friends diner comfortable.

So glad I stumbled upon this gem whilst looking for lunch options in Leicester. We ordered cocktails 2 for £10 on a Saturday. We started with fried catfish, the fish tasted so fresh! We both chose the lobster tail Cajun seafood boil and it was simply amazing. Portion size was perfect and the food tasted so fresh. Vish served us and was attentive and welcoming and spoke about how he drives hours to collect the freshest fish 3 times a week!! We will definitely be back and will definitely recommend for anyone looking for fresh fish, good atmosphere and welcoming staff!

Came to sapphires on my dad’s birthday and had a wonderful experience start to finish with the most tasty food and cocktails also had amazing service and they even brought out my dads birthday cake would 100% recommend must try !

Tried the restaurant for the first time tonight as my partner is a seafood boil fanatic . Well what can I say it was lovely and peaceful and not stupidly over crowded . The staff were very accommodating friendly and attentive and the food was of very good quality my partner had the mixed boil and came away very very satisfied and can't wait to return .I myself had the double drip burger and for what seems an eternity it was so nice to have a lovely tasting burger for what I call a very reasonable price . Looking forward to returning

My daughter and I had the most amazing meal at Sapphire’s. We had the lobster seafood boil and the king prawns. It was so lush and scrumptious. The sauce is full of flavour and we are definitely returning there! The service was good, fast and the Staff were friendly and accommodating!

Waited in the restaurant for 40 minutes waiting for 2 cocktails, they never took our food order. Servers weren’t welcoming nor helpful. The restaurant had also ran out of lobster completely

For a while, I’ve wanted to try a seafood boil. I quick search saw this restaurant recommended. I booked in advance and met a friend and her kid (there is a children’s menu). I ordered the salmon boil and added bang bang prawns. The food was delicious and I look forward to visiting again.

Nice seafood and burgers It’s a pub bar style and thats what you get other poor reviews seem to miss the point - but it’s really good as it’s all made to order. Most restaurants have frozen seafood (even the fancy places!) it’s affordable and nice. Killer prawns and chicken burger was lovely. Friend had a salmon boil and it was great. Went with friends and small child where there was a small menu for them and. They provided colouring book. Service was really nice it wasn’t busy but felt welcomed and catered for. will visit again.

We had such a lovely experience yesterday for my birthday. We were torn between Sapphire and going to London, we couldnt be happier that we stuck to here. I wanted to challenge myself as I’ve never enjoyed seafood, but I was blown away with how unreal everything on my plate tasted. I’m looking forward to going back already! Highly recommend the lobster tail, the food took a while to come out. However, I could tell it was fresh, it was so delicious and filling. 10 stars out of 5💝

So we are blaming the prawns and we will never be going to Sapphire again!

Amazing! Best seafood boil I've had outside of the southern states. I wish there were some crawfish, but it's the UK afterall lol. I highly recommend this place for it's seafood boil. The restaurant itself is very clean and relaxing.

The staff are polite, and it was a calm lovely atmosphere. A great place to hangout with friends. I had seafood and it was amazing. the menu has many other options like wings and burgers which you don’t find many restaurants offering both seafood boils and burgers. Relly good food and nice atmosphere

Arrived at 5.30pm and there were a lot of families and kids. (Not my favourite people to sit near) The drink to a long time to arrive after ordering but once they arrived they were perfect. Starters didn't arrive together but the food was on point. The main was lovely sea food broil was lovely, everyone enjoyed the meal. The only reason it's not a 5 star was due to the wait on the drinks also the back yard area that's on display could have been cleaned up 😕

Amazing we've eaten a lot of sea food boils here abroad I'd say 50 at least this was the best by far..we had the salmon boil with extra prawns..banging cooked oerfect the extra sauce delicious ....calamari was seasoned beautifully..chicken wings we were told was buy one get one free (which he didn't have to tell us ) just a lovely experience lovely staff..beats Jimmy's killer prawns hands down.. 5 stars from me we are already arranging to come back !!!
