Sapphire Kitchen & Bar in Leicester

Great tasting seafood. We shared a seafood boil which contained some of everything (lobster, crab and prawns). It was all fresh and delicious and we will go again.

Quiet but great food, descriptions in menu could be better and only Cajun sauce option but waiter said they could do garlic butter if Cajun was not liked. Worth a visit, would come again.

I have had the pleasure of dining at Saffire 3 times now and every single time I have recived excellent customer service and the food was brilliant as well as the cocktails! Would highly recommended!

The food was really tasty. I went towards the end of the day so it wasn’t too busy and we got king prawns and a king prawn platter. We added extra sausage to the platter which was chicken sausage and it was soft and went well with the meal. The staff are friendly and our waiter gave us free lobster claws which was kind of him. We didn’t know how to open the claws so he also showed us how to with one of them. My only feedback is to use smaller gloves with thicker material as they were large and thin so they ripped easily and were difficult to use due to a loose fit and also to remove the intestines from the prawns before cooking as it might make them taste better but this is if I’m being picky because my experience here was great. Overall really good experience and I would go back!

Me and my friend travelled to come here as we had seen it online and it 100% exceeded our expectations. The seafood is the best i’ve ever tried and staff were so lovely, they shown us how to eat the lobster as we never tried it before, they made us feel very welcomed, will definitely be coming here again 10/10

Wow wow wow!!!! That was absolutely delicious. When we went in it was quite and no one in there, was A little optimist as we was the only one’s but still gave it a go. I AM SO GLAD WE DID!!! The food was delicious, we had the lobster tail, prawns, sausage, mac cheese & dynamite prawns. Mohan was super nice and helpful. Thank you x

2nd time we have been (first time was 2 years ago) and the food is just as enjoyable. The only gripe I have is the cleanliness of the tables, chairs, and menus. Both times have been the same. Consider changing the chairs from velvet to another easy clean material and re-upholster the booths.

I was in search of a seafood restaurant and found this treasure in Leicester, called Sapphire. The food was 10/10, the service was 10/10, and the atmosphere was 10/10. The portions are very generous. I will definitely go back again.

5 of us went around 1pm,I have to say waiting staff were spot on, friendly & helpful. Food was great and a fun way to eat. Kids loved it. Watching them figuring out how get the meat from crabs legs and lobster was a good experience for them. Will deffo go again.

Just had our meal here. The staff were very attentive and polite. The Korean wings were absolutely amazing. We had king prawn plater and seafood boil, both were to die for. I would 100% recommend

Customer service is awful. Prawns weren't cleaned before cooking. Weird smell in restaurant,almost like damp. Very cold and servers were too busy walking around doing nothing then taking orders. Don't bother.

For our first time outing at this place, we were welcomed well! Food was amazing

Staff were great and the cocktails were lovely, but we got a whole lobster boil and got barely anything on it. Our friends got a mixed boil and had a whole lobster tail- we didn’t even get half of that on the whole lobster!! There was also shrimp waste still in the shrimp which was a huge put off- so if this gives you the ick I would AVOID as there was so much🤢 Ended up giving the shrimp to someone else. Would absolutely not return and neither would our friends.

Mohan was extremely helpful and accommodating, made sure we knew how to de-shell the lobster and offered any help that was needed. Restaurant is clean and well kept , service was speedy and staff extremely friendly. Honestly was a lovely experience and will definitely be returning!

We came for an early valentines meal and had the best time! The food was incredible and so was our service! Hermione was our server and she was so lovely and made it even more unforgettable!

Can I just say how amazing this place is! It's a hidden little gem in Leicester. This is my second time coming and can now say it's mine and my daughter's fave place to come! Shame we don't have one closer to home! Beautiful food and lovely staff! 100 % recommended. NHS discount too.

Well I was craving for seafood so i found this restaurant on Google came along with my friends, it's such a beautiful place, We ordered for KING CRAB ,Bang Bang Prawns , Wings and some cocktails 2 for £10 🍹🦀 They have speciality in Cajun Sauce. The food and Cocktails were Delicious and Excellent 🔟/🔟 . Great Hospitality very friendly 👍 will surely recommend and I'm coming back with Family to try more seafood.

Nah, I wouldn't go back there. They brought the food all separately, like, my chips came first, then the burger ten minutes later! Crazy, right? The cocktails weren't great either. The whole place lacked atmosphere. But hey, they did have some decent old-school R&B tunes. So, that's something. Food 2/10 Cocktail 2/10 Over price YES Music 9/10

Brilliant food and staff. It was a bit cold, but they did had heating on and we had the food at 3pm

Me and my family had dinner on news years eve here, we felt so uncomfortable from the minute we walked in, no customer service at all not smile no hello no atmosphere, we ate our food and got out of there as quick as we could the food was okay.
