Perfect place to have a drink its warm and has great staff!!

It was an okay place. You need to sort out the women's toilets out. Also, the disabled toilet needs sorting out.

Good prices on the beer, place wasn't very busy and looked a bit run down inside.

Went to a reggae night decent music and vybes.. a few fights inside which ruined it for the people that was good and just wanted fun.. Second time vsiiting now and it was very quiet hardly no customers but the whole street was quiet so I'm guessing it's the weather. Had a few drinks with friends and went home. They do have some nice drinks at decent prices

Only just getting round to writing this review. Haven't been since 2015 but the place was great. Hope to return in 2023.

First trip back to Braunstone gate since the pandemic Natterjacks used to be buzzing in the day. .. it has certainly changed and not for the better... maybe its due to the security guard on the door,very intimidating and I'm not entirely sure belonging to the SIA you can stop and search people wanting to enter a venue 🤔 but he certainly was not a friendly person but looked to want to entice trouble, just an observation

So 2 for £5 on selected drinks. Just had £9.40 taken out of my account at 6:20pm on Thursday night for 2 pints of Fosters. Nice pint of Fosters but even so. Been here several times this year and never had this problem before. Disappointed ☹️.

Had such a wonderful night here, came for my friends birthday and Edith was incredible and made our experience perfect!

I love Sunday nights there. Open Mic is the best night in brauny Gate all week. Made to feel welcome, even allowed to sing to (falling over optional) Lovely friendly staff, amazing musicians, lovely funny friendly atmosphere , great decor and venue. Top Place

Awesome Sunday dinner! Very generous portions at a reasonable price. Had so much food left on my plate, I had to box the rest up and take home with me. There was no way I was letting that go to waste! Highly recommended! Great service from René and Stevie as always. I will definitely be coming back very soon

Been here for various events, including the brilliant Sunday evening open mic night hosted by the inimitable Rhett Barrow; as well as one of the best live sets ever witnessed when the same promoter recently booked local legends, The Paradimes. The staff here are so lovely, friendly and professional. The drinks are great, whilst the atmosphere is usually somewhere between super-chill and vibrantly buzzing. Either way, the decor is unique, there's a nice little raised area inside the building for performances and, outside, there's covered decking running the length of the building, which leaves lots of space for smoking or not. One of the best bars about. Highly recommended.

Tried to visit the bar today the security on the door refused me going inside as I had shorts but letting their friends in with shorts on. Would highly recommend to avoid the pub due to racist behaviours on doors

Great place and great service and excellent staff

We obviously chose a wrong night to descend upon this place. There was a private party on but it took over the whole bar with the music and guests......why not just close it off to the general public in that case? We chose to sit outside, there were 12 of us.

Went there for a colleague's birthday and had an amazing time. The catering was excellent and the food was great. Drinks were reasonably priced and and there were a lot of options. Would definitely recommend, especially as you have to go through a Tardis to get to the toilets!

Fantastic! We went for my friends Hen, once they saw her they really made her feel special. Gave us a great table near the dance floor which they decorated, took her to the stage for shots to cheers from the other guests. Made the night really special. Great staff, good music and drinks. So we were meant to go to Chelmsford to my best friends Hen, 2 days before the hen/stag company went into liquidation. We managed to find an air bnb in Leicester and decided to blag the first night. We ended up at NatterJacks and WOW. The live music, cocktails and energy was amazing. The blonde lady (we assume the owner or bar manager) made the experience so much more than we expected for something last minute. She brought out balloons, a selfie frame, sparklers and a row of shots for her. We planned to just stay an hour but we ended up staying 4.5 hours. Thank you so so much for such an amazing experience and saving the first night of the last minute Hen.

Lovely staff, but DJ On Saturday, February 12, it was a complete failure. people asked him for songs but he wouldn't listen. he was self-satisfied, enjoyed his self. during the whole event nobody was dancing and he didn't notice it because he got into his DJing so much, with drum and bass music or wherever that called. Disaster 🥴 Please Nattarjack, don’t let that Dj play again please!

Perhaps don't have signs outside saying how amazing your food is if you're going to tell face to face customers you are prioritising online orders so won't be serving food to anyone who walks in the door. Awful customer service. You only get one star because I can't post a zero.

Gave away our table after assuring me earlier the same day that it would be booked for myself until 11pm. This meant a group of us sat in the wet, with a delayed football stream, missing the fun indoors. Not impressed.

Had a table booked from 6-11 to watch the semi-final. We were assured if we turned up by 7pm our table would be held. Turned up at 6.30pm to find the table had been given away. We had to sit outside in the smoking area (we're all non-smokers) watching a delayed stream on wet tables due to the heavy rain. First and last time I'll be visiting, which is unfortunate as the food was actually quite good.

We live in the nearby and it's getting infuriating that they are open every day until 3 in the morning with music blasting. Thursday, Friday and Saturday I can understand, but Tuesday and Wednesday people still have to wake up early in the morning for work and other commitments. We actually measured loudness last Tuesday and it was 65db at 2 in the morning, which is 20db over permitted limits even for bars. From now on we will be reporting it with other neighbors every night until you stop being ridiculous.

Fresh and fantastic. Chicken burger with thigh meat. Wow! Great portions and the Quesadillas were excellent. Great host.

Ate here yesterday and the food although tasty was cold when it was served. Ordered burritos and fajitas and got 2 plates that were identical. There was an option for mild, medium or hot which related to the little pot of sauce served with it and I didn't even get that till I asked. Was still eating and the server appeared and took my plate! May be worth a try but beware

5 of us had lunch today at a time when it was very quiet - no others eating inside, a few drinking outside. We ordered drinks and then checked how long a wait it might be for food as a couple of us had appointments in town and we had limited parking. No longer than half hour we were assured. We ordered and waited, and waited then after about 40minutes 2 of our party's orders arrived so they got started, after another 10 minutes the 3rd dish arrived but fries were missing then as the first two were finishing their food the final two dishes arrived. By this time three of our party had to dash off and it all made for a very unsatisfactory lunch out 'together' The non-mask wearing waitress apologised saying it was a 'new business' which I didn't quite understand as it's been there for some time and they should still have capacity to produce 5 plates of food within 5 minutes of each other, for a small group of diners. The food was however very tasty and we all enjoyed what we had but would have enjoyed it all the more if we had been able to eat together.

The bouncers are polite and the drinks are not overpriced. Lots of outdoor seating now at the back as well as front. Open until 2 at the weekend so nice place to stay out and avoid town

We came here after hearing good things. After ordering food, I was absolutely disgusted in the food. I found not one but TWO men’s hairs in my food and it’s safe to say I didn’t touch my wrap after that, waiter dropped one of my fries on the side and picked it up with his bare hand and put it back on the plate. Cocktails were actually nice but the food was greasy and the hair just topped it off for me. Chef wears no hair net and if doesn’t look hygienic to say the least.

I have come to Leicester on business, the last 4 years from the US, and I stumbled across this Natterjacks... I keep coming back to this place because of the amazing staff and other regulars. I call these people my family now because of how wonderful they are. Manager Daniel is always incredibly professional, knows how to handle a tough situation, charming, & smart. They have a wide variety of Gins that we don’t have back at home so every year can’t wait to try more flavors. As for the food, it’s certainly not American food but it always has me licking my lips for more after eating. On top of that music always keeps you tapping your feet and wanting to dance. The only thing that they could do to improve is open a place in the states. Highly recommend.

What a fantastic Atmosphere! Day and night! Deals on food and drink everyday of the week, massive TVs, great pool table. Love the quiz in particular! Always rammed in there and beautiful lady’s on the bar! Wonderful service all around, love the place!!!

Great selection of food and drinks, many different brands of beer on draught and a great variety of spirits and cocktails at responsible prices too. Me and my friends went on a Friday evening and there was a live band on. Great atmosphere. Its advertised as a different band every week so well worth a try. Will defo be going back soon.

We visited the bar for my partners birthday. The food was fantastic and fresh. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we arrived during 2 for £5 drinks so that was a bonus.

We came in on a business lunch and we was welcomed from the moment we walked through the door. Really friendly and attentive staff. Food was really tasty and quick. Loved the decor, I think the tardis as a toilet is a really good touch. The bar was spotless. We will be coming back 100%

Went for a meal here today and while the food could be said as average the service and cleanliness of the place was terrible. Dirty tables and plates all over, the waitresses were more interested in chatting amongst themselves or looking at their phones to offer any sort of decent service or clear up after previous customers. A place to avoid in the near future.

Had an amazing night at Natterjacks. We had our Christmas meal booked and it was lovely. The food was really good, hats off to the chef. All the food came out on time and hot. Desserts were to die for!! Definitely worth a visit.

Typical football pub. Might have caught it on a bad day. Toilets were run down, broken and neglected. Broken glass in the cubicle. Staff were lovely and friendly though 👌

Decent pint and friendly atmosphere. It's very different to the previous 'Loaf' bar that was in the same place years ago, but good to see this place open again if not quite the same vibe. There's also a pool table in there these days.
