Massively gone downhill was way better food is awful dry tiny portions of meat attitude chef massive waste of a business

Visited for post funeral get together. Private area provided with polite respectful staff. Buffet well presented and plentiful. Parking not good but looking at menu would give it a try for social visit.

I’ve been coming here for a few months now—consistently delicious food at a fantastic price, paired with top-notch service every time. Big shoutout to Scott for making it even better!

Food was absolutely delicious would highly recommend to anyone. Definitely will be going again. Hopefully Gina will be working, she's such an efficient worker so happy & friendly checked see if we were okay several times.

Food great although had run out of some items. But customer service from Gina deserves a 5, very attentive and polite. Great service.

Arrived 4.45 and was told it was still lunch venue 2 course for £12.49, could also choose from main menu. We had the lunch menu and it was plenty for us both, I had the mini grill, sausage, egg, tomato and small chicken and gammon but lots of chips and peas. Then we had the sticky toffee pudding good portion and a jug of custard. Staff both friendly and polite. No photos as we are before I thought about it

Great service! I have been eating here for multiple days out of the week whilst working away. The staff are always extremely friendly and helpful, shoutout to Jo!

Unfortunately I wanted to give this place a good review. Oddly on a Monday evening I could only be offered a table in the bar, something about being fully booked in the restaurant ? I checked back in and saw many tables empty between 7:30-8:30? The bar table had dirty marks which spoiled the experience, a quick wipe would have sorted this. The guy behind the bar was attentive and served me, my glass of red was decent. My Salmon dish was cooked ok and the fresh salad was also tasty. But again the plate was smeared and had fingerprints on the edge.. a real shame everything just lacked some care. The restaurant was half empty all evening - I won’t go back. Maybe I just got a bad night.

We went here after comic con for an early dinner. Food was tasty with generous portions. And everyone was friendly and gave great service. Our group was happy to spend time here!

Was a lovely meal and night out ,Jo our server was brilliant always bringing a lovely atmosphere to the table always with a smile on her face, definitely would recommend and will be coming back in the future.

Horrible food... so bad. I ordered the Ultimate BBQ Grill Platter It was terrible.. bland chicken smothered in bbq sauce. The food was cold as it didn't seem to be warmed all the way through It was a disappointment 😞

Always greeted with a friendly welcome. Food is always to a great standard and served hot (except to salads and ice cream!) the re-warmed chips from lunch are a specialty! It's a friendly, local pub just in front of the Premier Inn. The food was really nice, steak cooked to perfection! The atmosphere was a little roudy for a Tuesday evening but the staff were polite and on the ball.

Very rude staff. Slow, and not pleasant. Go to the Blackbird on Anstey Lane instead. Cheaper, better quality food and staff who don’t hate their jobs.

Went for Mother’s Day Sunday dinner . Wasn’t impressed . The vegetables seemed to be frozen and roast potatoes were frozen . As for the meat I had 3 meats and they seemed like they were prosessed meat . I wouldn’t recommend to any one . Service was good though

With a friend we had a lovely meal on a Wednesday night. Food was tasty and our server very efficient. We felt that Scott our server gave us good, polite, and he made us laugh as he was so amicable. Nothing was any trouble for Scott, you made our night. Thank you 😊

My husband booked a table for our little family for Mother’s Day, it’s our first time here, we both work in hospitality so on days like this we never get the chance to be together. Our waitress Angelika was fabulous from start to finish! Very quick service with a friendly manner. The food was also fantastic! Clear plates all round! Yummy! Thank you for a great experience

I had lovely chicken fajita platter for three and its best food ever than restaurant food and coffees are lovely with Paul ward and Kim and Garry whiting that food was for my mother Janet whiting passed away too I had cappuccino with my food then fo a while then went too lagar little while after that that my mums wake with my mums nephew Paul ward and his wife kim and garry whiting his mother passed away on March 3 2024 at 7.15 pm at loros groby road

Nice time after a trip to hospital for tea

Came here for a Friday night meal with family. Greeted and shown to our table, waitress was friendly. Ordered food seamlessly and was brought to us 15 or so minutes later. Food was really tasty and fresh. Desserts were also nice. Driven past many times but first time eating here and we were not disappointed. Highly recommended.

Really good server Scott had a great laugh and served to our needs. Chicken was oddly cooked seemed to watery. But food was delicious and great size.

We called in Heathley Park today on the off chance for a meal, we were promptly met & seated by the manager who was very pleasant, within a cpl of minutes Zoe was at our table for drinks order and a few minutes after that for our meal order, she was extremely pleasant and made us feel really welcome, our food only took a few minutes and was absolutely delicious and we ordered deserts which again were spot on, Zoe was brilliant through out and kept checking back to see if we were okay, we had travelled to Leicester from Derby for an event and we loved this place so much we have booked a table in a cpl of weeks for a birthday celebration it really is that good.

Lovely atmosphere, very clean place. The food was flavourful and a good temperature (Mac and cheese specifically). Jo was a lovely server too. Prices are really good aswell compared to the portion sized.

Great pub for a Sunday carvery.

The food is delicious and well presented. The menu is a lot better than what you normally get in most pubs, the dishes offering diverse choices to suit different tastes and dietary needs. I have been served by Jo and Scott, both of them are very nice and attentive.

We tend to go around Leicester just trying different pubs that do Sunday roasts, first time here and we just didn’t enjoy it at all. The turkey tasted off like rubbery - had a very strange taste, veg was hard, we wasn’t given enough gravy for the 4 of us and wasn’t asked if we wanted any sauces - I guess it’s just the little things … was a bit disappointed

Great food, lovely friendly staff, advisable to book as can get busy. Fun Quiz Night on a Thursday. Good selection of beers and plenty to choose from on the menu. Had the Rib Eye with top beef ends and Peppercorn sauce, it was very nice.

Stayed locally so visited for dinner. We didn’t have a reservation but we’re seated with no fuss, just a proviso that we were able to vacate our table in 90 mins time due to it being reserved for later. We ordered and the food came quickly. The meal was good, typical pub fair, but tasty and plentiful. The service was excellent and the value was good. Although £4 for a Diet Coke I did feel was rather expensive. But apart from that a pleasant visit

Have always eaten here with my friends and family, never had a bad meal. Very friendly staff especially Danielle, she goes above and beyond for everyone and always extremely friendly. Lovely cosy atmosphere, Would 100% recommend.

I was staying in the premier inn next door as I was attending a funeral ! Angelica my server was very polite and efficient, I had sirloin steak which was tasty and just what I needed , thank you for making a lone woman welcome .

In a group of 4 one of which is a gentleman of 89 with a stick, no one at the desk so we sat at a table to be asked have you booked so we said no, was then told can you wait at the desk, stood there for a few minutes when someone eventually comes to us , then sat us at the table we were originally at. Then the drinks order was wrong, eventually asked for the bill, to wait ages to then have to ask again. Not impressed

Lovely staff, great service and food was good value and served well, but refurb time and stop people smoking at the front door. It comes in when the doors open and is not nice when entering and leaving.

Just popped in after work, didn't eat....but the restaurant was nice and busy. Attentive staff,warm welcome, found a cosy corner and put the world to rights.

We enjoy going there every Wednesday and every Sunday after a good game of squash we have reserved seating and the staff a just brilliant 👏

Had a great Christmas meal here and thoroughly enjoyed the visit. Price was reasonable, food well cooked and surprisingly large portions.

This is the second time we have been here as a group for a works meal. The food is really good value, tasty and well presented, and the staff are really attentive with drinks and food service. Zoe served us today and she was excellent, efficient, smiley, polite... Overall a really great experience.

The staff are lovely but I ordered Nachos which were awful, no fresh hot melted cheese and just tossed on the plate. Sorry guys but one of the worst meals ever.

We had a great experience in Leicester. The pub has a warm and inviting atmosphere, and the staff is friendly and attentive. Denise, was especially helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was also delicious – I had the steak and ale pie, which was cooked to perfection.

We have visited several Greene King pubs this year for meals and although they are all good, this was by far the best. The service was polite and speedy, the food was great and the atmosphere was relaxed. With 2 small children, eating out can be a bit of a lottery but I needn't have worried about coming here. The kids were made to feel welcome and they in turn, ate everything on their plates. Highly recommended for family dining and will absolutely be returning soon.

The staff was very rude, asked for a coke with no ice ended up with half a glass full, asked the bartender to fill it up and he said he couldn’t so because the food was dry so I had to buy another drink! Can’t accommodate people with allergies or people with disabilities such as stomas, one person on my table ended up with just chips that’s was luke warm as her chicken strips was overcooked and hard. We went here for a birthday meal. The food was very salty, Luke warm, could have got better at home. They say they are dog friendly, yet they were very rude towards our little puppy who was just sitting there nearly falling asleep. Won’t be returning, as all staff was very rude. The menu was very limited, so good luck if you like your food normal!

Love this pub the staff are absolutely amazing go above and beyond for all who come the Sunday roasts are to die for in fact all the food I purchased here never had any issues and the offers they had on recently were so good and good value for money

Haven't been here in a few years, but me and my partner and children had dinner here a week ago, and honestly the food was really nice, the service was good and a very nice atmosphere. Keep up the good work!.

Came for a coffee and to use the WiFi for work. Denise served excellent coffee and can highly recommend this place for ease of parking, quiet atmosphere and excellent service.
