We stayed here at end of April as a stop off on way to Bournemouth, check in and room was really easy, with the room being just what we requested. Hotel was very quiet. Only gripe was the milk in the caddy curdled when we made a brew, but we got more milk from reception on request.

The hotel is good, it has spacious and comfortable rooms. My complaint is that the staff does not want to work, a group of 20 people stayed for two nights and they refused us breakfast on the second day because they said we blocked their dining room, a shame.

This hotel represents the worst accommodation experience I have encountered. The safety and comfort of the room were severely compromised. Upon arrival in room 19, we discovered the room was excessively cold. Despite activating the heating system and leaving for the evening, the room remained frigid upon our return, with the heating unit emitting only cool air. My husband subsequently requested an alternative room due to the unacceptable temperature. A member of staff delivered an oil-filled heater; however, my husband, due to his professional experience, identified that it lacked a current Portable Appliance Test (PAT) certification. The staff member retrieved the heater, subsequently returning it with a PAT sticker; although, I feel it was the same heater. Further inspection revealed that other items in the room also lacked current PAT testing, raising significant safety concerns. Later, at approximately 4:00 AM, a heavy headboard detached from the wall, striking both my husband and me. I sustained facial and bodily injuries, while my husband experienced a near-knockout blow. We put the head borad on the floor and tired to get some sleep. I didn't want to move rooms at 4am. They would probably be cold too. We reported the incident to reception the following morning, receiving a complaint form and contact information. Never ever had this sort of problem in a premier inn ever!

Room is decent size but room cleaning is only done if requested (which i wasn't told on arrival). Also, all three evenings my entry card was deactivated with various excuses given like colleague must have not realised it's three nights stay, corridor doors have changed today (it clearly wasn't). Breakfast was okay.

Leicester visit is a good place. I took a taxi from the hotel to the city center, just 6_8 pounds only for taxi. Good english breakfast. EV charger(2) available. 5 persons family room is enough.

We have been coming for many years to Leicaster and this premier inn we always stay at. Highly recommend. Quiet place, wonderful friendly staff. Clean. Bed is why we book with Premier Inn. We hate to leave...but must tear ourselves away...

Absolutely fine! Good value for what you pay. Beds are very comfortable and extra pillows as standard in zipped bag in the wardrobe. No complaints. Breakfast decent too. Not sure why other reviewers are complaining about the vibe of the rooms... Exactly what you expect from a budget hotel.

Staff as always are brilliant, but this building is old and tired. The rooms are getting a bit tatty, the floors echo as you walk. Our room was near a dividing door on the corridor which slammed everytime it was used as prople went/left their rooms. It's OK, but far from as good as other Premier Inn It was cheap though, so overall, excellent value

Pretty much the usual Prem Inn experience, with windows that open (much needed as air con not working). Outside temperature was 15 degrees but inside our room was much warmer (20 degrees) - suspect that in warmer conditions the broken air con would be quite uncomfortable (air con in corridor/lobby working fine). Great location for walking/cycling into town (traffic free Sustrans route/path starts nearby). Room was slightly shabby/ in need of a touch up and/or deep clean.

It's a premier inn you know what your gonna get, however the staff here were fab, they rang to ask why we were staying and we said space museum, so in the room the kids had a activity book and sweets. The biscuits from the front desk is a nice touch!!

Usually stay at Leicester Braunstone but thought we’d give this one a try as had issues the last few times there. Glad we changed, as well as being closer to work this was a far better experience. Great staff, really helpful and welcoming and breakfast in-house rather than across at the Beefeater. Think we will be using this one going forward.

The hotel is in a good location and of easy reach to the city centre. All the staff are so friendly, welcoming and very helpful especially Jenny in the restaurant in the mornings, always cheerful and friendly with everyone. The food is very good and there is a large choice of food. Rooms are very clean. I would highly recommend this premier inn.

First time in Leicester. Great value and we won a lottery on the desk and paid £2 for Great Ormond Street, I believe and we won a free adult breakfast with kids eat free. So couple of days before our stay the hotel called me and asked the name of my children and I was told that they wanted to make the experience more personalised. Unfortunately I told this to the boys and they were excited. However after checking in, there was nothing. I went to the reception and there didn't seem to be much desire to help and said oh okay, sometimes they do leave something. Not even asked me that we will arrange something. Breakfast: limited selection. we had to ask for vegetarian options and had to wait for it. I saw few other people were also waiting for veggie options. On my check out time, I said again about getting the call and finding out nothing in the room for the boys, the lady was apologetic this time and offered to small pieces of Brownies. My question is, if you can't live up to your promise, don't promise please. I wouldn't have expected anything if you didn't call me.

Have been staying here while working away. Beds are great. However if you have aircon in the rooms can you make sure it actually works ! I asked for a fan and was just told no when I know they have a supply of fans. The lad on the desk between 5pm and 6pm on 3/4/2024 was so miserable !! No hello , no how are you . Just did not want to be there at all.

Stayed for a couple weeks for work. We were refused entry to the restaurant one evening due to lack of staff, another day the card payment machines were all down so we had to leave the hotel to eat. I appreciate these are not controllable issues but it still affected our experience. Rooms were as you'd expect, all tidy and the HDMI port didn't work as usual. Other than this we were happy and would probably return.

This is a proper old Leicester pub with a great history. Located at the back of Highcross Shopping Centre. It’s amazing that a pub like this is still standing which just shows it’s well used by its regulars. Only a small range of beers…but it’s unbelievably cheap! Very friendly staff and regulars. Not everyone’s cup of tea but I love it!

The food is amazing and service amazing too, even though they are small they are welcoming, just came here sat on a table after some people and even though they were busy a employee came over and cleaned the table and sprayed it down.

Pai Leicester offers an impressive brunch experience, particularly with their Benedict, matcha latte, and hotter tots. The Benedict stands out for its flavourful, well-seasoned components, with the cashew hollandaise and vegan omelette providing a satisfying, hearty bite. The matcha latte is smooth and balanced, complementing the meal perfectly. Hotter tots arrive crisp and well-spiced, rounding out the plate nicely. The ambience at Pai is inviting and modern, with just the right amount of buzz, making it ideal for a relaxed brunch. Overall, the seasoning and presentation were spot on, and the atmosphere contributed to an enjoyable visit

Absolutely mesmerised by the service by Scott. There was a long que, and he was the only one making the drinks, but the efficiency and attitude he was making them was commendable. He deserves a pay rise because I truly believe he was doing 3 people's work. I really hope his work is recognised. Well Done Scott👏

I had ordered 2 tandoori roti and 1 naan. But I only received 1 of each. When I called the restaurant and informed them that I ordered 2 roti and only received 1. Was informed to come and collect it. And than he cut the call. Called them few times but went on voicemail. Received a called back and was informed that there is no one to deliver the roti and was told to complain. Customer service was really bad and the person who I spoke to was very rude and not helpful.
