Fireaway in Leicester

Ordered via Deliveroo. One pizza, Mac & cheese and 3 milkshakes. Was very expensive (over £11 for the Mac & cheese & £7 each for the milkshakes!) so was expecting high quality food. Was shocked to receive cold pizza and mac & cheese which looked like a supermarket meal tipped into a take away bun and tasted awful. Milkshakes are really sweet so not very nice either. Usually order margarita pizzas and milkshakes from the oadby branch which are usually delicious. Feel utterly ripped off.

I always enjoy Fireaway but after trying this branch twice I believe the others are better. I ordered the Fireaway special which was meant to come with crispy onions which were missing. The other stores also provide garlic dip when you purchase a pizza regardless however this one doesn’t which I didn’t realise

taste and flavour is on point maybe just a little salty - i ordered the meaty pizza. the dough and cheese are fantastic, didn't feel bloated after it. Highly recommend it.

I used to eat from a different place but when I tried this I couldn’t stop eating it .the staff are really friendly and the quality is amazing I highly recommend this place👌👍👍

We had hoped to order from the lunchtime menu and have previously customized our toppings (vegetables only) due to the limited selection. However, when we requested to do so again, the lady on the phone was rude and refused, without offering any apologies. Instead, she blamed us and told us it was our mistake, and even asked us to send the pizza back. As regular customers, we are disappointed by this response and it may discourage us from returning in the future. Additionally, we have noticed that the restaurant is often empty during lunchtime, which is concerning. It is important to consider how to retain regular customers

The quality of Fireaway has dropped quite a bit since the first time I ate from there a few years ago. The Amalfi doesn't look anything like thw picture, it has only about 1 olive per slice, no basil leaves, so oil, and it was damaged and fallen all over the box when it came. The Roma, my favourite, just doesn't taste as enjoyable as it used to. The cheesy garlic bread is also pretty tasteless, and the crust is too chewy to really enjoy. Not really value for money anymore.

Tried to order some pizza online via Deliveroo/Uber but couldn't do 'buy one get one free' due to technical issues. Rang the store direct and was offered the same 'buy one get one free deal' but was charged full price. Rang the store (Loughborough) and was told no offer was available. So I have been charged £50+ for 4 small(ish) pizzas just because one of us was gluten intolerant. Rubbish customer service and rubbish pricing all because one of us has food intolerance. Will never be ordering again!!

we ordered 2 vegan calzones but they came with normal cheese... we then rang up and were told almost immediately that they knew they'd messed up but yet, they waited for us to ring twice to sort and no attempt to fix before we contacted them. what if we had a severe allergy? really shocked would not recommend if have any dietary requirements or allergies.

Ordered a £6.99 lunchtime pizza, such good value. Very friendly & attentive staff. Ready quickly with a smile & a delicious pizza. Definitely be back :)

Initially delivery time was shown as 20:05, but then the app said 20:15 - 20:35. actually arrived at 20:45

I was charged 99p for a dip which I never received. I tried to call as soon as delivered but no answer.

Deekay was really friendly and welcoming and helped me pick out the right option as it was my first time. I went for the pizza+ side (strips)+ drink option. The chicken strips were absolutely amazing and I enjoy them thoroughly. The pizza to be completely frank was average at best. As for the price, I think it is slightly overpriced. Service was amazing, professional and quick.

The pizza was very dry, I didn't like it, the sauce was very bad.

the vegan pizza is nasty. the cheese is all mushy and if u don’t like weird textures definitely do not get it🤣 i don’t rlly do reviews but it was actually disgusting sooo🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️

I just ordered a takeaway from Uber Eats as I fancied a change from Dominoes. The food was late and I had to call up the restaurant myself to request an update. I was then told my order would arrive within the next 10-15 mins however I had to call again 25 mins after as there was still no update and I was given the same time frame for arrival although the man did advise he would call and check with the delivery driver how long it would be. He called back 5 mins later and advised that it would be 5-10mins; he was polite and apologised so customer service wise, I guess they are okay. In the end,the food arrived 1hr 15mins after I placed the order. As for the food, I was MASSIVELY underwhelmed as it was mediocre at best. I ordered 3 pizzas and I expected fresh, authentic Italian pizza with fresh ingredients, however all the pizzas tasted like the frozen/chilled pizzas you can purchase from any value supermarket. I also ordered cheesy garlic bread and you could hardly taste the cheese. Overall, I regret spending as much as I did and certainly won't be rushing back to order again. Worth a try though I guess..

Always tasty and fresh pizza, staff is very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable - knew what's on pizzas and gave recommendations. A lot of options to choose from. Was able to get jalapenos only on half the pizza since me and my boyfriend have different preferences. Affordable prices, worth coming back

OK I have to be honest, it wasn't great. There was distinct lack of meat on my meathead pizza and the overall taste was not great. Also is was bordering on cold. I shall not use again.

I had my favourite pizza Amalfi that's nice ever then one of staff ask me to try new pizzas so I tried it And I am used to go every week reason and personally I would say once try it and best thing is staff to polite and serving as best 👌.

I ordered 2 pizzas, waited for over 1,5 hours and after I called the restaurant, the employee had audacity to tell that it won't be delivered and the delivery man waited outside for 20 minutes. Bu**s**t. I do not know if he s that narrow minded to use the intercom or dial "+" before non-British number. Do not recommend if You want to eat - order somewhere else.

I had 2 experiences with this company.... In the city centre... The first time one i ordered on a friday at 16.20 and the estimated time was an hour... After chasing them with phone calls i received my pizzas at 18.20. They didn't even apologise... Or give me a discount. The second time i had ordered 6pizzas and in the website on the instructions i did put i wanted 2 calzone..and that if they came late i wanted my money back... They arrived ontime but no calzone and underooked on the base..they think people are stupid... Never again highly not recommend it and staff very unfriendly and don't know how to deal and treat customer with lack of english language.... Who puts this people to work.. As my sister lives in The Leicester hamilton, her experience with them is guys are so friendly and helpful, and flexible ... Same company... Am i missing something...

Best pizza in Leicester better than dominoes imo. Look out for good deals by them on Uber Eats. I got a buy one get one free pizza on top of an Uber eats discount (£10 for 2 pizzas). Pizza arrived very hot and fresh will definitely order again

Thai is the Right place to fulfill your hunger they gives best of the best quality pizzas and food and I think this the best place in Leicester For Pizaa..Cherry on a cake is that they gives 12inch veg and non-veg both types of variety.Staff is Very sweet and helpful.They provides home delivery also. In Working days they have lots of offers..MUST VISIT. 😍😍😍.

Use these guys regularly as they deliver from an earlier time than most. The dips / sauces are always spot on. Would recommend.

I ordered pizza and it didn’t come i called it said it’s would be 15-20 minutes 40 minutes later I call again and nobody is answering the phone and the pizza never arrived

I pass by this place everyday and finally decided to grab a pizza late last night. First of all, the pizza was absolutely delicious, very cheesy and delicious sauce. It was so good that we went back and got another. Secondly, the staff member we dealt with was absolutely incredible, he was very nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend Edit: So I went back multiple more times and the pizza was great each time. On my last visit, the manager was there and was absolutely incredible. 5 stars is not enough when it comes to the service at this place.

The delivery and handover were as expected. The food was a little underwhelming. This was my first time ordering here. I would recommend a mix of cheeses (or one a bit more savoury) for margarita pizza to make it more flavourful, as the base was overpowering and made things taste bland and like roasted flour. That said, the base itself was ok and a good thin consistency. It just didn't compliment the toppings sufficiently. 'Plain doesn't have to be bland and boring with all due respect. Separately, the order arrived timely and everything else was efficient.

Just ordered from here and received. Far too much sold and low quality food. The chicken strips are inedible and the wings are about the same. Overpriced and cheap ingredients

This may be the best takeaway I’ve ever had!!!!! The pizza is exceptional tastes amazing like the pizza I had in Italy. The strawberries and chocolate were delicious the pizza and desert deal is so worth doing . 11/10 couldn’t reccomend more

The pizza was ordinary. I was expecting much better for the price I paid.

The food arrived very late and missing an item. The delivery driver promised to bring it straight away but after 20-30mins had not returned. When I phoned the restaurant I spoke to the manager who was very rude, he seemed to think it was acceptable that he had made the delivery driver wait until another order was ready so he could deliver them together. I explained that I didn't think this was good enough because we had now finished our food and no longer wanted the item and requested a refund. He was again very rude and said he had to speak to his boss.

First time tried it . Excellent service. Pizza was stone baked , thin based and just right as you could taste all the toppings and not just the base . Not for those who prefer to get full up on just the base/ bread. U want quality this is it ! All freshly prepared Even my year and a half granddaughter enjoyed it .. Would highly recommend.

5 minutes for the driver to get out of his car. Pizzas too cooked so dry. Just eat refunded 5pounds of ' goodwill' as if I was lying. I am a loyal customer and never raised any issue before.
