Lovely food great service from front of house and waitresses. Cant wait to return to experience the lovely food and atmosphere.

Came for my 4 year anniversary food was exceptional tender and juicy and the flavours were lovely. The staff certainly match the food excellent and friendly service would highly recommend

Visited today and had a lovely meal at The Carlton Inn. Plenty choice and a varied menu. Pleasant and attentive staff, made to feel very welcome.

Completely underwhelming and quite expensive. Small portion and as you can see from the photo, won't be eating all of them! Staff were too busy larking around to get peoples order correct. Disappointed and won't be going there again.

Stopped off on way through, and found this gem of a place, I really would recommend a visit, it truly is a gem, food is excellent and service is superb. We had Eggs Benedict and a BLT, it was lovely and made to your liking, superb. Keep up the great food guys if you read these.

Lovely produce, including a range of cheeses, chutneys, crackers, etc. The Red Leicester was delicious. Friendly staff and lovely atmosphere.

Evening meal, table of 4 Starters, Steak, lamb & puddings all served by staff who were very attentive. Food was amazing 5 stars 🌟

I can see why the reviews are so mixed, we ordered a takeaway of 2 pizzas and olives with breads and one pizza was ok the other not so great, overall you could probably get a better pizza in Asda, the olives and breads were good but would expect much better with the pizza.

The coffee and cake was ok. Thought the Cafe was strange and seemed cut off inside. Get rid of the horrible blind curtain things at the window, they are too big and over the worktop for the higher chairs, also the sticks in the corner?? The place was clean but totally lacked any atmosphere or music. The cafe could be made to look much warmer with some softer furnishings as it’s hard floors, very little decor and it needs a woman’s touch! Only 2 other people in there when we were and it was deathly quiet and cut off and you can’t see outside into the courtyard. Couldn’t wait to leave- won’t be returning.

Called in for a pint after a walk along the canal. Nice atmosphere and bar staff. It use to be a great place for a meal but sadly no food options anymore. But as best a quiet village pub as anyone could wish for.

It was OK, a bit of a local for people who live in the village I think ..could do with a makeover as dated. Drinks weren't that cheap either.

This is Willowbank. We have been regulars at this curry takeout since we moved here last May. I can not fault the food as it has always been delicious, but the service over the past couple of orders has been disappointing, from orders being cancelled to food being missed or forgotten to waiting 2 hours for delivery... We had the promise today of an order being rectified from last week so ordered again, and we were given chicken tikka instead of lamb tikka and our salads for our starters were missed once again. As much as we love the food here, considering how often we order from this place and the same order each time, think we are now considering going elsewhere...

Food was hot… a big plus for me. Need more table staff and staff do need to keep an eye on the desserts as they were often all gone
