Ratna Bangladeshi Indian Takeaway in Hinckley and Bosworth

This is Willowbank. We have been regulars at this curry takeout since we moved here last May. I can not fault the food as it has always been delicious, but the service over the past couple of orders has been disappointing, from orders being cancelled to food being missed or forgotten to waiting 2 hours for delivery... We had the promise today of an order being rectified from last week so ordered again, and we were given chicken tikka instead of lamb tikka and our salads for our starters were missed once again. As much as we love the food here, considering how often we order from this place and the same order each time, think we are now considering going elsewhere...

Ordered via just eat at 7.30pm for delivery 8.30. Eventually arrived at 9.30pm, called at 9pm and the person on The end of the phone couldn’t speak English. He Finally passed me on to someone to explain that they are extremely busy and will be leaving shortly to deliver my takeaway. It will take “15 mins”!! Food arrived cold and popadoms all smashed to bits. I’ve always been loyal to this place, however I will be looking elsewhere in the future. It seems every time you order on just eat and preset a time for delivery they automatically add on 30mins. What’s the point allowing you to preset a time!

We had ordered for delivery the weekend before and had been given the coldest and latest take out ever with smashed papas, I rang to make the complaint and said that they couldn’t do anything about it but they was taking out name and address for a discount the next time. The next time came this weekend and I wanted to hold them to there apology and requested a discount after explaining, the guy over the phone had claimed ignorance to the conversation and suggested I was lying. I proceeded to express How un happy I was last time and that I would be right a review and suddenly I was believed and remembered and knocked off the delivery and so proceeded to explain that it was yes good enough as it spoilt the last meal so he changed what he said and gave me the cost of 18.95 so I laughed and said that you have just taken the delivery of and said the same thing twice and proceeded to end the call.

We tried here as it is rated very highly on just eat. Food was ready quickly and tasted great. Have been back 3 times now and hasn’t disappointed

I Live over in east Anglia but was originally from Tamworth. I have never found a good Indian Takeaway in east Anglia so whilst staying in Tamworth I trusted all of the reviews for this takeaway, Wow this is the nicest Indian takeaway I have had for years, delivered early, food still hot, got to be the nicest Indian takeaway I have had since moving 10 years ago. go for it, you won't be dissapointed.

Had a takeaway over the Christmas period and chose to collect. The phone was ringing off the hook and the just eat machine buzzing away, clearly a very popular takeaway. The staff member was friendly and polite. I ordered and collected 40 minutes later. We had the keema naan with extra keema which was DEFINITELY worth it as it had loads in. The only thing id say is that our order came to £33 and we had to purchase poppadoms and dips, at £0.75p a pot it was quite expensive to get 2 poppadoms, chutney, onion salad and yoghurt each. Maybe if we hadn't we would have got some for free but im not sure. We did get a free bottle of coke however.
