Wow Coming from Birmingham I know a good Indian and this was one . Excellent food ,service and really good value for money . You can take your own drinks which always keeps the price down ,and I would recommend the bollywood on the menu. My go to in hinckley now .

Had a take away last night. Rice was good , the rest went in the bin.

I have had a number of family meals here recently and I cannot fault it. The food has always been excellent and flavoursome and well presented. The service is very good and we have always felt very well looked after. You have to take your own alcohol, which is a bonus and they provide all the glasses as needed.

Absolutely shocking service, took 2 hours for food to arrive! When finally arrived order received was wrong again! Second time in a row we’ve had this! Phone up numerous of times to find out where my order was etc. spoken to awfully, turned up warmish, and very watery, I thought I had finally found a good Indian takeaway, after few times ordering realised I was wrong, I won’t be ordering or spending my money with them again! Wouldn’t mind but I paid over the phone so they had already taken my money!

From order taken to food on table was 60 mins. Their excuse was that they were busy on takeaways, no wonder the restaurant was empty. One to avoid.

I've only had takeaway from here and been using the place for the last few months since it reopened. The food is excellent and reasonably priced. Traditional flavours when it comes to what I believe to be Indian food. I shan't be trying anywhere else if it stays this good.

A nice local Indian restaurant, we ordered takeaway on their website and went to pick up at the agreed time, we got there on time and had to wait almost 10 extra minutes. Staff was nice and friendly, restaurant was small, but clean and cosy, comfortable and nicely decorated. The restaurant is quite small and has small steps in and out the place, not sure if it’s disabled users friendly. There is no free parking for the customers, always free street parking, again may not be convenient for disable users. Food was yummy, price is decent, will definitely use it again. Thank you

We just ordered a collection take away from here, and it was on time and absolutely delicious! So impressed and we also got some discount for ordering between Monday-Thursday which was even better! So impressed with the standard of food, we will order again, and would recommend.

Its good to have this restaurant open again. They provide a good range of Indian dishes at a reasonable price. I went with my wife after hearing it was open again and we were not disappointed. We had a friendly welcome and the food was as good as always with excellent service. All making this a good local restaurant.

First time visiting Millenium Balti, was invited to join my family for evening meal. The service was excellent and the food was superb and not too expensive. I will definitely be going again and would recommend to my friends. You can take your own drink which is also a plus point.

I had chronic diarrhea and sickness about an hour after eating at this restaurant and missed my friends wedding the next day because I felt so ill!!!

Poor I've ordered same from here before once last year and once today, and the same menu meal for two which states 2 pilar rice and only receive 1 when it's a set meal for 2. There excuse is that its n old menu however they haven't changed this for the last year and still charging u for the 2 rice...maybe only a couple of quid but it's not the point! They snap at u when u call to tell them.. I used to rate this restaurant but there costumer service is shocking! They must remember there costumer training and that the costumer is always right especially if there menu states it also! Also the masala was watery,and hardly no chicken. Mushroom bhaji was not in fact a bhaji,more of satayed mushrooms with loads of onions in a pot. Fairly disappointing considering what u pay .

Shocking service ordered food at 10.40pm now keep in mind that they are open till 11:30pm only for them to let me know at 11.30 when my delivery was supposed to be there that , my order has been cancelled. So I couldn’t order food from anywhere else as everywhere else was closed by the time they actually told me my order was cancelled. Also no refund got to wait 10+ days for a refund for the food I never got ?! Absolute dog s###! Don’t understand why I they didn’t give me a call and say that I could still collect my food if they’re busy , clearly not bothered about customer service , first and last time for me to be ordering food from this place . I recommend keep your money and order from somewhere else .

Exceptional value for money!! First of may trips to follow. Will tell all family and friends to try it out. Please never change, the place is perfect as it is and price point is spot on!

This Restaurant is one of my favourites! good valve for money , the food is always amazing and service is top quality, food come's out quickly and they have a takeaway option too. have been multiple times with friends and family and have never been disappointed. my partner always orders something different every time, and have never been disappointed with the food, definitely would recommend this place.

Friendly staff very well priced food and drinks

The food here is lovely!! The food was quick, service was fine, the only downside was how cold it was in the restaurant. Portion sizes were pretty decent, and it’s a good menu with plenty of choice. Our friends enjoyed their meal too.

Fantastic food and service for a really low price.

I found the Sagwala delicious and very reasonably priced.

So so disappointing. My partner had a lamb pathia it was really watery, the lamb was tough and zero flavour. I had a lamb tikka masala, again the meat in mine was tough, the sauce lacked any flavour unlike a normal masala which is creamy. We ordered a garlic and cheese naan, it tasted like a plain naan. The vegetable samosas were awful and definitely not homemade at all. Expected our dinner to be lovely as I had saw some good reviews but definitely avoid ordering from here if you enjoy good indian food! Waste of money!

Great food, good atmosphere, fair prices. No complaints

I have just had the worst meal ever, after being told it would be 40 minutes It was an hour late being delivered and cold, it had to be reheated in the microwave to make it edible, my wife had scampi which turned out to be breaded crab sticks and hard. I will not be using them again for this service. I am considering seriously reporting them to trading standards.

I have been to this restaurant several times before and I have never been disappointed. The staff are always so friendly and smiley (even when I’m being a pain and being indecisive). You won’t find drinks as cheap as they are here and it brings the bill right down! I ordered a take away from here on Sunday for the first time through their website and it was here before the expected time and delivered by a smiling driver. I can’t understand some of the other reviews.. the price you pay for what you get is amazing!! We are very happy customers and can’t wait to go again soon as planned with our friends!

This place is not practicing Covid regulations , no one way system for entrance and exit. Too many customers 18 no social distancing at all, food very bland .Workman working drilling while restaurant full of Customers. Never in my life have I been in a restaurant and had workmen drilling. Will never go here again

I have ordered a lamb biriany that had the rice in chunks and old, the lamb was very dark and stale, the onion was cut in chunks you can find it in the food, and all the 4 dishes I have ordered didn't have sald, and you can find the onion in all of them cut in very big chunks. If you think that people can't feel if the food it is nearly out of date, please think again, I had allergic reaction.

Just had a meal delivered, the driver had no gloves or mask to protect himself or the customer. Currys were all emptied in the bag and the food was stone cold and an hour late wouldn't be using again

Think if I had gave my tandoori chicken mouth to mouth i probably could have resuscitated it.. very rude staff. It's a no from me :)

We decided to come here for a Xmas meet up with family, we are so glad we did. The food was amazing! My husband had the special naan that was created by one of the staff members there. I would definitely go back there whenever we are back over that way. We had a few special requests food wise and they were very happy and did this for us. Great place!

Grate place and amazing food cheap price (50 quid for 5 people) not including drink but drink is also verry cheap the owner and staff is really nice and talkitive a 5 star review for all of what it is worth

Owner has an attitude problem. Food ordered for delivery and half of it missing, refuse to deliver the remainder of my order until “he’s ready” when I said my other food will be cold he said it wasn’t his problem. Won’t use again!!

I've always loved the millennium as they have always had so low prices on alcohol when eating in .Personally I love the food and such a reasonable price. For a while as eating on my own the delivery is so express .... The portions are huge with lots of meet and I love the flavour. I usually split the portion into 2 so I can enjoy the next night..The lads in the phone for home delivery are polite and will advise you.Nice place mi

This is a no frills Indian Restaurant, however the staff are friendly the food good and reasonably priced, I don't know of anywhere else you can get a good two course meal and three bottles of quality wine for £18 each. And if you are wondering about the wine it is Hardy's Merlot.

Nothing much to write about this place. Just an average Indian restaurant. Very limited vegetarian options. There are much better Indian restaurants in Hinckley.

Ordered late due to working all day. £30 worth of starters and mains for 2.In a nutshell bloody disgusting rubbish. no way has anyone with even basic cooking techniques been near this food. High rated on just eat? How!!! I could wax lyrical about masses of sugar in the tikka, dried unconstituted mushroom in everything or dried coriander in the naan.Millennium Balti you really should be ashamed of your food, standards and total disregard of your culture - seriously close or sell to someone who caresDisgusting

I ordered a delivery last night (15.09.18) and unfortunately I couldn't eat it. I ordered a mixed grill main which comes with a plain Naan. I also ordered a veg korma but added a note requesting just korma sauce no veg but I ended up with veg one that was not pleasant at all. The mixed grill was so salty I couldn't eat much of it, although the meat was cooked perfectly it was just sooooooooooo salty. The naan was lovely and light and that was the only good part of the meal unfortunately. I would not recommend and I will not use again.

Well just been to what use to be very good Indian restaurant haven’t been for sometime, this was a family birthday 16 of us , and the size of the party should not come in to it , but it was not good ,tasteless to be honest. So to be frank I personally would not be back, sorry millennium Balti your standards have dropped

Incredibly good value Indian food and having used them several times for takeout we can report we’ve never had anything but excellent food from there. Friendly and very well presented staff are on hand and have a nice rapport with their customers.

At first I thought "it's not pretentious...no smarmy waiters....the prices were inexpensive.....the decor is basic..authentic...again not pretentious....but very very clean.... seriously the guys take slot of pride in their little cosy restaurant...... I was expecting the usual curry...you know...different colours but taste the same....but...that was not the case...the food was prepared with love and pride....superb!...and I've been with several people who are particular ....not one complaint.....another thing....if you require no salt,no ghee...or you would like extra garlic,extra corriander simply ask...and finally apart from the drinks being inexpensive..£5.00 for a bottle of red wine!!!....again paletable....this restaurant is a hidden gem..you can forget your overpriced ,average restaurants....take the plunge if you enjoy an authentic real curry.....you will not be disappointed....if you are I'll pay for your meal...

My husband and I come regularly, mostly on a Friday when we on way home. Very good, getting busy, quality of food brilliant, well worth paying a visit.

The Curry was decidedly average, what was shocking was the price of the alcohol! 95p for a bottle of Becks? £1.25 for Cobra? The drinks menu was priced as if it was still in the seventies! Unfortunately the food was a lot like that too; very basic and not very complex curry flavours and seemingly a blast from the past. We won't be back even though the drink was so cheap as there are far better curries to be had all over Hinckley.

Arrived for a table booking for 10 friends, had to wait twenty minutes to be seated, admittedly it was busy, however upon ordering we were asked to pay up front for our meal which set a very weird atmosphere. Food was good, service was awkward yet relatively efficient. Eye catching decor, good menu.

We ordered a takeaway last night for 7 Curry's and all the extras. Was lovely and hot when we opened it upto eat. The taste was delicious and we all eat the lot. Will definitely eat from there again. It was our first time eating from there and it definitely won't be our last from 8 happy customers 😀 ps the price was really good too xx

Visited on the 05/09/2017 and on many other occasions. Very friendly and welcoming staff and have never been disappointed with the service.Meals have always been exceptional and drinks not overpriced like many restaurants.

Me and some friends ordered takeaway from this restaurant. I had a chicken madras with keema rice. It was by far the worst takeaway curry I've ever had, worse than supermarket own brand currys.

El ambiente es tranquilo y el lugar necesita un reacondicionamiento. Los suelos son poco sólido, algunas de las sillas de tapicería y la decoración necesita es antiguo. Los servidores nunca parece feliz (una sonrisa cuesta nada), aunque el servicio es mixto (puedes tener un servicio realmente bueno o muy pobre). La comida es muy barata, pero los gustos increíble y las bebidas también son baratos. Es el restaurante más barato indio de la ciudad, así que es genial cuando te quieres ir pero no romper el banco. Nuestros amigos parecía un poco escéptico al principio sobre el restaurante (primera vez), pero disfrutamos de la comida y la bebida.

Tuvimos que esperar en el pasillo durante 10 minutos antes de estar sentados en un restaurante vacío. 6 entradas diferentes ordenados pero todas ellas cordero bhuna muy calientes y tibios para mi plato principal. . Realmente no es buena.. el único positivo de las bebidas eran baratas así que intentamos beber para olvidar! ! ! ! ! !

I'm sorry to say it's the worst take away from the millennium Balti we have ever had, it was warm it was with in time, but no taste could not taste any spices, sorry to say it tasted like a pub curry not an Indian, again it did not taste like an Indian it should have been full of spices , very bland not sure we will use them again

Si estás buscando curry que es un precio razonable y sabroso, creo que este es el lugar. No es lujoso, hay los sospechosos habituales y algunas especialidades chef sorprendentemente buena. Nunca he tenido una mala curry aquí, nunca he tenido una excepcional curry aquí. Es ese lugar que anunciaban en el Cine Odeon como estar a 50 metros de este cine 'un lugar para ir con buenos amigos en una noche de la semana. La comida es deliciosa y el servicio es bueno y el vino de la casa es barato, pero bueno. Me gusta este restaurante es lo que dice y no intenta aparentar que es algo más.

Nunca tuvimos la entrega, siempre caliente, picante y recogido lleno de sabor, por supuesto... Recoger en el interior del restaurante. Se ve limpio y bien presentado... Costo promedio para todos los platos y el alcohol no es caro... Sin duda recomendaría 😀

The food is always excellent here. Great value. They do not rip you off with prices behind the bar either. £4.50 for a bottle of wine! and its drinkable too! Food is always fresh and tasty and always well looked after. Enjoy

My wife and I visted Hinckley on 22nd.April for the first time, and decided to go for a sit down meal, and on the main drag we saw the Millenium Balti, we both love indian cuisine, we stopped and went in, we had to walk in a creaking cheap wooden floor corridore as the restaurant is really in the back of the building, the staff were welcoming and polite, we ordered two soft drinks, that were warm and cheap tasting, but we thought the meal will be better as the restaurant was full to capacity, we had some papadums and the chutneys were really horrible, and one of them was like runny custard, the two meals came which both tasted exactly the same, just full of tomato pieces and onion, and in all honesty could not find the king prawns, as they were extremely cooked they might have desolved in the tomatoey dish, the pilu rice was stuck together and tastless, it was like couscous in appearance, both of us left half of our meal, we ate the other half just because we were so hungery, I feel so sorry for people in Hinkley who wrote the good reviews, obviously they do not know how good indian food is, they should visit the curry mile in Manchester, and those who think that resaurant was cheap, they must have plenty of money to waste it on such trash, we will never attempt to eat in Hinkley ever again, if people think the food in the Millenium Balti is anywhere near good, we had enough of the bad food, and to top it all up we also had a headache of the noise of the half drunk customers who found out that the beer is cheaper than the surrounding pubs, it was a horrible experience of a wasted night, wasted money and the possiblity of having a good meal from the chippy on the same side of the street few doors away and eating in the romantic sitting of our car.

Had my birthday party here 20 of us, and I cannot fault the service, the food, or how accommodating the owner was... Beer is by the bottle and very cheap... wine per bottle you can get for less the £6 !!! Bargain!

I really like this restaurant for the take away. The food is good and generous portions. The staff are friendly too and it's good value too
