Lovely produce, including a range of cheeses, chutneys, crackers, etc. The Red Leicester was delicious. Friendly staff and lovely atmosphere.

Me and my wife stopped for a cuppa and snack. Good food and wonderful scones. Then we had a taste of the cheeses and had to buy a few to take home as they were so good

This old dairy barn has been delightfully renovated and serves drinks, cakes, cheese toasties and ploughman’s. Also attached is a cheese shop selling the delightful Sparkenhoe Blue and other cheeses. Worth a visit and we will be back

The cafe doesn’t offer much in the menu but is located in a lovely barn and the cheeses are divine. If you’re a cheese lover, this place is certainly worth a detour.

Sparkenhoe Farm is known for its farm produced cheese, they have now converted an old barn to a small tea room that just serves great cheese toasties or Ploughmans (with cheese) on a Friday & Saturday from 9 - 2:30pm. They also do great milk shakes and range of loose leaf teas. The food and service are excellent and next door is a small cheese shop where you can buy straight from the farm - a range of cheese and also raw farm milk. Ploughmans £7.50 each Well worth a detour.

Best Turkish food in Leicester- great team and service. Small venue but great food and good portions Great service and great vibe in the restaurant. You can see the food being cooked which is very cool.

The Dog and Gun is a homely mock Tudor 1932 pub with many original features. The friendly staff and regulars created a welcoming and enjoyable environment to spend the day with family or friends. Private areas were available and the garden is open and well-kept, with astro turf for children to run around on and two outdoor shelters. I spent a great evening playing pool in a separate room to the rest of the pub adjacent to a section of the bar where we could still place orders. Hot food is sometimes available and becoming more common now, which is very enjoyable. And fresh cheese and onion cobs are available daily, to go with drinks. I highly recommend giving this place a visit.

Lovely food, good service. Would recommend the Crodino which is like a non-alcoholic Aperol Spritz.
