The best bacon cob (bread roll) you have ever tasted (three rashers of crispy bacon) together with a lovely friendly atmosphere and value for money.

Lovely couple of hours having a lovely snack, coffee and a cake here. Very friendly staff. The entrance to the tea room when the main gates are shut is in the village by the canal bridge.

Great little spot in a gem 💎 of a location. Quirky as in Victorian station, added bonus are steam engines floating about & staff most helpful. We walk our dogs to & from this spot as fortunate to live local. Keep up the good work guys!

Visited the Victoria Rooms at the Shakerstone Railway at the weekend! What a lovely unique experience. At times the Steam Trains run! Even during the extraordinary circumstances there was a very warm welcome from the proprietor. The delicious cakes were a must! There are also fresh rolls , sandwiches and warm food for cold days. The Rooms are set in the old Shakerstone Railway Station and there are a number of events there during the year. A remarkable and very interesting little cafe. Enjoy your visit. Dr Julie

Tables are outside or under the station canopy at present. However good selection on offer, the pasties smelled delicious although we just had chocolate cake with cream. The cake was really moist and delicious. Good hot chocolate.

We visited this lovely tea rooms on our family day out and what a lovely atmosphere. Because of covid Restrictions it was take away service only but the tea was great and we had a tasty big slice of homemade cake which my daughter loved. The staff were very friendly and professional especially at such worrying times. We will definitely be returning when we can sit and enjoy the beautiful tea room in its full glory x

After visiting the tearoom from a lovely long walk by the canal it was the perfect place to stop for a hot drink and some cake, whilst the tea rooms were only open for take away (COVID-19 Restrictions) it looked like a beautiful, warm and friendly place with great service. Will definitely return when government restrictions allow seating as the decor looks very interesting - lovely stuff

The Victorian Tea Room is located at Shackerstone station. It is not very big but is certainly very cosy with seating inside and outside. They serve drinks and snacks and the staff were very friendly and welcoming.

This is a lovely Victorian themed tea room on the platform of the Battlefield Line steam railway. It is part of the old station. On chilly days, it has a roaring fire. The cafe is decorated with Victorian artefacts. It offers a small but delicious menu at ridiculously low prices. There is homemade cake as well as savoury items. The portions are large. The food is served quickly and is piping hot. All the staff are friendly, courteous and helpful. It is a charming step back in time. We go to the station specifically to visit the cafe. We are regular visitors. Always top service and good food.

Located in the station building of Shackerstone Station, the tea room is decked out like a Victorian front room with period table settings and chairs as well as a variety of snacks. Pasties and sandwiches seem to be the order of the day along with a couple of ‘specials’ as well as several cake options. We had a couple of slices of cake which was very nice along with tea and a hot chocolate. As the railway was open it was pretty busy but the tea room does open at other times. Staff were very friendly and the candles on tables and open fire were a nice touch.

We recently visited the tea rooms during a visit to The Battlefield Line with our two year old son in the February half term. The first thing that stood out about the tea rooms was the wonderful decoration. I felt as is we really had been transported to the 19th Century, the thought and effort that has been put in to the look of the tea rooms should really be praised. It is unique as well as beautiful. The staff were both friendly and helpful. We had coffee and cake, the cake was delicious! It was clearly homemade and as such kept with feel of the tea rooms, but also tasted just a little bit nice knowing someone had taken time and care to make it. Our sons favourite part was the train table, just a small touch can sometimes go a long way and this really did. He loved playing with the trains and it allowed my husband and I to drink our coffee knowing he was entertained.

An essential part of a visit to the Battlefield Line. The tea rooms are festooned with historical memorabilia. The volunteers are enthusiastic and the place oozes period charm. A fine selection of cakes was on offer and the teapot was capacious.

I regularly stop here during cycle rides. The Tea Rooms are a wonderful spot to watch the world go by and the food is plentiful and good value for money. It is well worth the minimal platform ticket cost (£1) to help preserve the Victorian surroundings.

I came here for a wedding celebration, and it was a perfect place to hold it. Not too big, not too small, a decent selection of drinks (including a Swedish IPA!). The staff mae sure there was enough
