Highly recommend!!! Breakfast was cooked to perfection and even catered for me being Gluten Free. Will definitely be visiting again soon 🙂

We had a dinner here and everything was excellent. The food delicious, varied menu, reasonably priced and lovely staff. Really recommend supporting this family run restaurant.

Just visited for bottomless brunch-excellent nothing too much trouble Could have any combination of drinks and food as long as in the same package- staff excelent

Bought a salad box from here a few weeks ago, the gentleman in the shop was absolutely lovely and this was one of the best salads I have ever had. Will be back!

Lots if people passing this newsagent will not notice that it is also a cafe. We have been using it for several years and have to say that they serve the best coffee in Matlock and it is so reasonable. The cafe area is at the rear and has a bay window overlooking the River Derwent. They serve delicious home-made cakes, scones and toasted teacakes and a choice of coffees and teas - my own favourite being a Cafe Latte (large). So you can buy your paper or magazine and sit with your coffee and cake enjoying views over the Bridge and the River Derwent!

I could stay all day and eat...cakes are super delish! Coffee is soo good. Lunches are great.

I had the most delicious pizza. The base was tasty, thin and crispy and the crust was perfect. The toppings were fresh and also tasted amazing! I would have loved more toppings!

Wonderful place with a great selection. I only stopped for one but I'll definitely come back.

I live around the corner from Wellington Street Fish Bar, and have never had a bad experience. I rated service as 4 stars, as sometimes there is a long wait for food, but this chippy does get very busy around tea time. Stilton sauce is boss

We placed the order and they told us the time it would arrive and it did, it was a larger order for 9 people there was plenty and it was so tasty. Delivery driver was lovely as well

Firstly, I have Italian family so I am pretty clued up in the cuisine. I am always honest for the benefit of the business not just to complain. Service - Mostly good. However, maybe at least poor the first drink from a bottle of wine instead of just putting it at the end of the table and walking off. No tip based on that. Food - Ragu had no depth of flavour, therefore, it tasted a little watery. Reduce down your sauce or add more seasoning.

Wow, somewhere to take your lady or fella, table service, good size coffee cups and tea pots. Will be making that 90 mile trip to visit again. Back for a trip out on bike. Food is really good, as allways. Internet said open ?
