The best restaurants in Matlock All Saints Derbyshire Dales East Midlands

We had a dinner here and everything was excellent. The food delicious, varied menu, reasonably priced and lovely staff. Really recommend supporting this family run restaurant.

Great atmosphere and staff. Went here by myself and was instantly greeted with friendly smiles and faces which instantly made me feel comfortable being there.

Bought a salad box from here a few weeks ago, the gentleman in the shop was absolutely lovely and this was one of the best salads I have ever had. Will be back!

Lots if people passing this newsagent will not notice that it is also a cafe. We have been using it for several years and have to say that they serve the best coffee in Matlock and it is so reasonable. The cafe area is at the rear and has a bay window overlooking the River Derwent. They serve delicious home-made cakes, scones and toasted teacakes and a choice of coffees and teas - my own favourite being a Cafe Latte (large). So you can buy your paper or magazine and sit with your coffee and cake enjoying views over the Bridge and the River Derwent!

Staying in Matlock for a couple of nights and looking for somewhere for breakfast with a different offering to the traditional cooked breakfast this is a real gem of a find. The best bowl of porridge I have ever had when eating out. Made properly with the freshest of berries to complement. Delicious. Accompanied by a wonderful coffee from a local roasters made for the perfect breakfast. We just wish that we had room to try the wonderful selection of homemade cakes. Hopefully next time. ☺️

Delicious Goats Cheese , Honey & Fig Pizza ..pre ordered , perfect timing , pizza was hot & so so good. Shame I had to share , would of happily ate all to myself .. try you won't be disappointed.

Great micro pub with brilliant selection of beer and cider , loved it

We needed early breakfast as I was on a course that started at 9, and this was the only place we could find that opened early. So we ate there the three mornings we were in Matlock, and were very impressed. The café was spotlessly clean, and the owner welcomed everyone warmly as "friends", which I thought was lovely. The menu was simple, mostly variations on a full English, but they suited my low carb vegetarian diet and my husband's meat requirement and were tasty and well cooked. The price was very reasonable too. Thank you both, we would definitely recommend.

Best fish and chips ever. Fish moist and sweet, batter perfect. Plenty of alternatives and gluten free too. Fish cooked to order, so phoning order in is recommended by

Lovely welcoming pub, we were staying nearby for a weekend and got recommended here for a bite to eat and we were not disappointed. The pie was one of the best, would definitely return again.

We walked in and got a table straight away, although it was a Tuesday. We had food from the happy hour menu. Wow it was so delicious and great value too. Lovely customer service. Fresh and hot food.

6 of us went for a special birthday dinner, first ever visit as we were staying in a hotel nearby. We all had starters which were good (definitely recommend the minestrone) and then mixed mains. I had the fillet steak with a sauce which was amazing, cooked to perfection. Good selection of wines and drinks. We didn’t order dessert as we brought our own cake to celebrate a birthday and the staff were more than happy to bring it out with candles, plates etc. would highly recommend this restaurant and would definitely visit again if in the area.

Great service and fantastic food.

What a lovely quirky bar. Dropped in for a quick drink on the way to our hotel. Can't wait to come back this evening.
