Absolutely loved it here. Food was amazing. Value for money. Staff so attentive and friendly. Couldn't ask for more. Will 100% be going again and have recommended some friends to go which they will be booking next week. Defo go here for a nice chilled relaxing evening.

told the driver multiple times the house number when they rang and continued the say the wrong number causing us to go back and forth saying the house number i also ordered garlic mayo sauce and bbq and they didn’t give us any and when opening one of the wraps it completely fell apart.very disappointed

great food, amazing manners. Really enjoyed their meal box, 10/10 would recommend. Salt and chilli platter is amazing. reasonable prices, again very welcoming staff😊

Closed-under new management and name

Absolutely fabulous although the night was a bit like visiting a faulty towers restaurant in that; no staff were in attendance on the carvery so we had to wait. A lot of the food looked dry and emaciated. The gravy bowls were bone dry on the condiments table as was the mint sauce. The queue to get drinks was a total fiasco as there was large group in attendance. Despite all of the above issues the team at De Rodes dug deep & were genuinely happy at their work And most importantly they solved every issue instantly calmly & apologetically. I take my hat off to them. The food in the carvery actually tasted yummy and once all the meats and empty foods had been replaced things got cooking realy quickly ( excuse the pun😆) . The cohesive teamwork shone through as one team member dealt with the large group taking pizza 🍕 orders and ensuring they were married to correct customers. Whilst the young man on the carvery apologised for absence and got someone to fill up all the empty condiments. Voila! The food was super tasty and the large group were catered for and fed back they had enjoyed thier experiences. The De Rodes team gave a masterclass in how to manage a busy midweek eatery successfully. The fact they actually offer a carvery midweek is a bonus. Every member of the Stonehouse team was engaged and committed to making the experience of all its patrons the best possible. Well done the De Rodes Arms Stonehouse⁴ 👏 🙌

The pizza was not as advertised, it was missing a main element of pepperoni altogether and deficient in cheese.

Country pub & restaurant not far from Hardwick Hall. Perfect on a sunny day. Loads of outdoor seating & grassed areas for the kids. Good service in the restaurant on our visit with the family. Specials were good value, home made pies nice. One of our party opted for the Venison which was well prepared. Can be very busy in the summer & advisable to book in advance for meals. Visited here many times over the years & never fails to impress. The country roads en-route are narrow & unlit at night . Make sure you enter Hardwick Inn into the SatNav & not the Hardwick Hall as it’s quite a trek between the 2.!

Arrow Farm is a nice place with good food,good coffee and scones.The staff are always friendly and attentive...'Thereby lies the rub'...sometimes the staff are over attentive bombarding you with 'can I get you more drinks' ? or 'can I get you drinks whilst you are waiting' ?...It seems to me this is management policy.A little annoying..

Excellent food and arrived in 15 minutes from ordering! I do only live down the road. The special burger is amazing! piping hot and juicy, cookies hot and gooey this is my go to.

Came to Bolsover for the day on my wife's birthday to have a pub lunch and to visit the castle. Having read the positive reviews we went straight to the Blue Bell. Walking into the beer garden at about 11.50 we saw that the view on a good day would be spectacular. Unfortunately the weather was bad so in order to eat inside we went to the door marked ‘Entrance’ which was locked. I checked on line and saw the opening time was 12 am (??)  so we waited. A few minutes after 12 the back door opened and we entered only to be told there was no food (no reason given). Although there was a sign at the bar, a notice outside would have saved time being wasted. Fortunately there are other places to eat so we went elsewhere.

Great food, great prices, great experience. Excellent.

Our favourite place for coffee, great atmosphere, wonderful staff, perfect coffee!! We visit weekly and they do our drinks to perfection each time

First time here and wont be the last. Food was excellent and service was very good. Never felt rushed or forgotten about either. Will come again. Thankyou
