The best restaurants in Bolsover East Midlands

The staff aren't very friendly. I like to pay cash so I always order at the counter. There is always a lengthy wait for this. They see me waiting but make no effort to engage. I understand that they might be busy however a friendly greeting to acknowledge my presence would be nice but it never happens. The management obviously don't think great customer service is a priority. The stand with napkins and sauces etc is usually messy, untidy and poorly stocked. Fries are always lukewarm and the burgers taste like they have been sat for a while too. Even if you customise! I have stopped visiting this one completely even though the location is convenient. I have filled in surveys and explained how poor this is compared to other sites but nothing ever changes.

If you pay with card/contact less please check first the amount what you have to pay. Service ladie dropped 5 times more amount and later when I come back for sorted that she's said "it's closed". Yes it's closed at 2pm when behind me sitting some people and eating. This is discusting practic to trying scam customer. The food are amazing, any time fresh and tasty.

The food was beautiful, but the lady that served us was a stuck up c***. Ruined the experience, I hope she faces the wrath of a million locusts

Had a great meal for my nephew's birthday. The staff are always lovely. It's a great atmosphere. We will be returning soon.

Worst experience ever. Cold food, Royal chicken was burned and the cheeseburger was horrible(we've bin it). Sprite had a terrible taste and I always drink Sprite when I eat to Burger King. We had previously bad experiences in this restaurant but we thought maybe it was just a coincidence.

Breakfast absolutely awful! We had a double sausage and egg muffin absolutely awful the egg was like rubber! Also a bacon and egg muffin also dreadful! This is not food! It should not be served!

I used to use these for late night meal but they no longer offer 10% discount for using there sight and prices are going up all the time especially delivery charge which is only a mile away but they must add on return milage. Even taxis don't do that. They have spoilt a good thing as l have read quite a few negative reviews. Typical greed they started off ell but want more money. Such a shame as my mamily used to order quite a bit.l have a Chinese around the corner so l think l will be using them more often.

Every day before lunch, the same food, fries in old oil, dry bacon, undercooked chicken... poor choice, (how can blue-collar workers be served fries and pizza for breakfast every day, the food should be more nutritious.) There are also shortages in the refrigerators. The only advantage is the service, although each person standing at the cash register gives a different price, for the same food I can pay as little as £1.60 and sometimes £2.00 During the weekend shift they offer more variety of dishes, why can't this continue during the week?

Staff are appalling, long queues, get to the window 9/10 get told to park up as food is never ready when you get it it is cold honestly just get to Alfreton this is not worth the visit if going towards Mansfield go either Sutton or kings mill McDonald’s

Every time we have ordered they forget at least one item. The store couldn’t care less about it and actually tried to blame it on the delivery driver (even though they were told it happens every time, the bags were still sealed and we have never had issues using Uber delivery drivers from other places). They didn’t care that their continuous mistakes now mean that my partner is unable to get refunds via Uber eats as McDonald’s app uses their drivers so you can only go through them for a refund on missing items. This branch is the WORST branch I have ever used. It needs serious work on management and staff training. The latest delivery they forgot 2 burgers, the selects to a 5 chicken select meal and the food that did arrive was barely warm. If you want what you paid for do not use this branch!

Kid took 20 mins to eventually start serving us after giving us his full life story, what he gets up to at night, how his working day goes, how much the cafe usually turns over in a day. We never asked!!! Food wasnt too bad when it came, but if you want food without getting your ears chewed off, dont come here.

Rude staff who looked at me in disgusting when I asked for my wrap to be warmed !! Wrap had dry edges.
