Tesco Cafe in Bolsover

Kid took 20 mins to eventually start serving us after giving us his full life story, what he gets up to at night, how his working day goes, how much the cafe usually turns over in a day. We never asked!!! Food wasnt too bad when it came, but if you want food without getting your ears chewed off, dont come here.

Will not go again. Drinks took nearly 40 minutes and make around 1 hour. Food was cold, tasteless and overpriced. If I could give 0/5 then I would!

Only 4 couples in but 25 minute wait for 2 lukewarm coffees.Dare not complain as didn't want to wait another 25 minutes.This is the 3rd time this has happened should have learned after the 2nd.Cant understand why the service is so slow as there are 2 working behind the counter

In a word - disgrace! I have never had an experience like this. Little to no choice before 11:30. Waiting to be served for 10 minutes when I could see both staff doing nothing before finally coming over to the till. No smiles and poor interaction. Couldn't serve certain foods due to faulty appliances. After we finally ordered it took 20 minutes to receive a drink which was only warm, not hot at all. The prices were steep but the food was poor quality and they forgot half of it. The atmosphere was worse as it was cold and they had air conditioning on too! Never going back! Avoid at all costs!

Egg raw, could have sucked it through a straw, wouldn’t feed it my dog absolute rammel, no hash brown, no sauce, no toasties, no salt, disgraceful

Only visit if you have a least 90 minutes to spare this is definitely not a fast food service seriously 30 minute wait just for two coffees and slice of cake and that was with only about half a dozen or so customers ,shudder to think what it's like when busy score out of 10 would be a 2 at best

I think the Cafe will close soon, due to a lack of footfall. Standards have dropped since my last visit in December 2021. The Cafe is supposed to be open to 5pm according to TripAdvisor. I called at 2.30pm and was told you can only have toasties, chips and hot drinks as we have to clean the equipment. I ordered Mozzarella toastie, chips and a mocha. 5 minutes later the waitress came to my table and said we have no Mozzarella, OK I'll have whatever you have got. I was served ham and some type of cheese, 15 minutes later. Long wait say nobody was in, other than me. There were no condiments on display, so I had to ask for ketchup and vinegar. The toasties and mocha were OK nothing special. Will call again if there open, it's more for convenience sake than anything else. See photo.

Called in for an all-day breakfast. It wasn't the best, but it was better than some. Tables were not cleaned for over 20 minutes. Only saw 2 staff on duty. The food was decent, not a lot to be fair, but 8t tasted OK, but for £4.45p it was good value. See photo.

Nice find. Its top the rear and downstairs but once you find it it's great for a quick cuppa . Limited menu but served to your table and hot. Cant really ask for more

Food cold service slow we waited 5 minutes at the counter without any sign of a member of staff thought it was closed murdered egg rest of breakfast was cold went to sit down tables filthy had to clean our own £15 waste of money try the why not cafe nearby knocks them into fits just £4 includes full English and a drink as a visitor to these parts thought we’d try Tesco cafe too omg AVOID
