I order mix meat kebab but chicken is missing I only got donner meat with chip

delivery driver picked up the box wrong out of her bag and dropped alot of the food in her bag.

food was undercooked and cold won't be ordering from there again

Food was amazing great service they heard me say cash they bring it to my house and they had to go back for card machine which proves the point of being the best chippie in Derbyshire pairs up with the amazing food and prices. The portions too, I’ve ordered the house special (kebab box) and it was massive even me and my dad couldn’t finish it(by the way the guy that delivered it his name is George )

Just absolutely awful. Really old fat and just a no no. Ended up going to another chip shop

food was poor cold kebab greasy and horrible tasting chicken wings certainly won't have again but delivery was 30 minutes early .. that being the only up side

After being recommended kettle of fish was disappointed with burger, quality and quantity of salad not so good so removed from burger

Well over an hour late. cold and food missing. 3rd time in a row i was disappointed,so not be ordering again from them.

Fish is the best by far, the chips take me down memory lane taste sensation 😋 quick service, but staff could do with brushing up on customer service skills

Normally order from here quite regularly but recently it’s gone down hill. Half an hour past the delivery window was just the start. Chips were cold and hard. Also wrong fish delivered paid £6.90 for a cod to be sent a small fish at £3.50. Rang to complain basically treated us like we were lying. Found out it’s under new ownership and straight away when they brought the other and showed the driver she agreed it was wrong one. Definitely last order from here. Lost a regular customer!

The food was ok but 3 hours for delivery is a joke!

Food was almost cold, the chips were full of eyes, and the order was missing one of the main meals. When I called there was no apology, only instructions to get a credit. Had collection before with a good experience, first time trying delivery.

Food was very nice and came hot

fish was lovely. chicken was dried out and tasteless, such a pity, as the last time I got the chicken meat it was amazing! very disappointed!

so good mum had the vedgi burger meal and loved it I had the megga kettle chilli dog and that was ace and we both had what we could eat of the megga chease share box.... the food was ace!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wasn’t as nice as it normally is. Food was cold and chips over done. Will reconsider before ordering again.

Ordered takeaway for collection last night. Fish was undercooked - batter very soggy. phoned up and was told by a very unhelpful member of staff what temperature their food is cooked at and it won't be undercooked. she then put me onto the manager who said will send replacement meal out and would take 20-30 mins. phoned up after 50 mins as still not arrived. when it did finally arrive the replacement fish was undercooked and the chips were obviously the old ones left over at the end of the night and were dried up and inedible. very disapponmied as have had good takeaways before but will not use these again.

The food wasn't delivered at all no one pick up the phone nobody cares for customer definitely do not recommend it .

Food absolutely terrible hair in my food chips looked liked they had been re heated fish not as nice as it normally is and food was late again looks like they have a different driver as she has now delivered a couple of times not very polite

Very good food a little expensive but you pay for what you get good food.... delivery driver was very rude

Terrible food, they gave me half a tray of chips and when I reviewed on just eat they didn’t seem to want to help but instead tried to to tell me to order bigger chips when they cost me over £4! If you read there reviews they hardly ever admit to there own faults and try to tell you it’s your fault! I heard good things about this place but for me they did not deliver!

I ordered food for delivery via the just eat app. When the food turned up my mother and my wife both said the chips didn't taste right and were undercooked. The rest of the food was great. I phoned up the shop just to mention it to them, the lady on the phone was very nice and without me asking anything, she offered to bring fresh portions round personally and they arrived promptly along with a free bottle of Pepsi and were very nice. For me, the excellent customer service means a lot and more than makes up for a small mistake. Would definitely order again

Wouldn’t even give this food half a star if am not dead in the morning it will be a miracle it’s is literally the worst thing av ever eaten in my whole life and I once drank off milk

Food is absolutely amazing cooked perfect and very tasty delivery driver he's alway so polite the only negative thing is they don't do meal deals or specials on sertan days which is a shame

If you want uncooked food then go ahead and order from this terrible chippy. Customer service was awful as well

When I rang to order the gentleman was so polite and Lovely. When food arrived it was absolutely foul, the chips where horrible, soggy and not fresh. The fish was appalling, the batter was mushier than my peas, soggy and uncooked wouldn’t be surprised if this fish was even raw. We then called to explain we were concerned it was uncooked the adviser a woman we spoke to had disgusting attitude and the worst customer service skills ever. She explained the oil was changed hence the colour of the fish and then went on to say she had no other complaints and became argumentative. Never fever again.

Amazing food and very friendly staff - had a big takeaway with all my family, the fish was amazing and the kebab was to die for. Best chippy in shirebrook would highly recommend

Avoid at all costs, not only did they mess up the order, but said we'll add extra on next order... do they think I'll order again after the awful food and terrible service, so that's me down £18 ... please order anywhere else

Nice breakfast. Quality sausages and bacon, quality all round 👌 The bagels are something to write home about. 10 out of 10

Ordered at 19:45 told it would be here 30/40 mins, called at 20:50 to be told its with the delivery driver it arrived at 21:30, its a 6/7 min drive at school rush hour. Luke warm greasy chips, less then bog standard scampi (cold), poured peas out the carton for it to stay in the shape of the carton, you guessed it, cold. Ate few bits of scampi and tried the chips but was not impressed at all. Would not recommend and will not be going back.

Tried different kettle of fish for the first time today.. we will definitely be going again, we ordered fish and chips the fish was really tasty and well cooked with crispy batter, the chips were great and the mushy peas were amazing..

Been for the second time today. As on the previous visit, the chips were hot, crispy & delicious. The fish was very tasty, perfectly cooked with a lovely batter coating. This won’t be my last visit.

Ordered came late food order came wrong by the time it came they were shut never again

orfered for the first time this evening, the lady on the phone did missunderstand me and missed a pittabread off my order but when I phoned up she had one sent straight out to me and it arrived why the food was still hot instead of me having to go back down and fetch it, we had the house special kebab meal and a small pizza and it was absolutely delicious, more than enough for 3 of us, deffo be going back again.

The food was cold, presentation was awful. Food took a long while to come. Wouldn't order from here again.
